Listed below are recent incidents responded to by the Benton County Sheriff's Office. This report does not reflect all Sheriff's Office activities and is updated as time and personnel allow. Any arrest and complaint information included below is based on the legal conclusion that, as with any criminal case, a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.

VIOL COURT STALKING PROTECT ORDER - On May 31, 2023, around 5:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 26400 block of Alpine Cutoff Road, Monroe, to assist the Linn County Sheriff`s Office with a violation of a stalking order. A Linn County Deputy reported he had probable cause to arrest Christopher Scott Engle, 40, for violating the stalking order he has with another party. Deputies transported Engle to the Linn County Jail, where he was released to the care of the Linn County Jail staff.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On May 31st, 2023 at around 7:50 AM, deputies were dispatched to 100 NE Lewisburg Ave for a report of a motor vehicle crash with possible injuries. Upon arrival, deputies determined one driver had rear-ended another. Both vehicles were badly damaged and subsequently towed. There were no injuries to anyone involved.
WARRANT ARREST - On 5/29/2023 at around 2:22 PM, deputies were conducting extra patrol at Hyak Park on foot and located Benjamin Carnahan, 34. Carnahan had a cite and release Albany Municipal Court warrant for Contempt of court. He was subsequently cited in lieu of custody with a new court date and time.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 5/29/2023 at approximately 5:17 am, deputies responded to a non-injury crash in the 25000 block of Grange Hall Rd. After further investigation, a 20-year-old Philomath resident was driving west on Grange Hall Rd when he fell asleep and crashed into the ditch, totaling his truck.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On 05/28/2023 at approximately 8:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Alsea Deadwood Highway and Highway 34 in Alsea for a welfare check. There, deputies contacted Craig Edgmand, 42, who was extremely intoxicated. Deputies spoke to multiple witnesses and viewed a cell phone video of Edgmand walking in the roadway, shirtless, chasing a vehicle. Edgmand was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County jail for Disorderly Conduct.
MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR - On Sunday, May 28, 2023, at about 2:15 am, deputies stopped a black Porsche SUV on NW 9th Street near Grant Avenue for driving 53 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. Deputies later cited the driver, Devyn Monet Jones, 18, for several traffic violations and for being a minor in possession of alcohol. Deputies also cited Jones` passenger, Eden Grace Kolber, 18, for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
DWS MIS - On Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at around 6:15 pm, deputies stopped Delvis George, 36, near 3rd and Alexander, Corvallis, for driving while suspended. Deputies cited George in lieu of custody for driving while suspended misdemeanor.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at around 5:40 pm, deputies stopped Charles Tuttle, 33, near 3rd and Cummings, Corvallis, for failure to display plates (no front plate). Deputies learned Tuttle had a cite and release warrant for his arrest for contempt of court out of Albany Municipal Court. After confirming this warrant and obtaining a court date and time, deputies issued him a citation.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On May 26th, 2023, deputies were dispatched to Bellfountain Road near Milepost 11 in Monroe. Tyler Talley crashed his truck off the west side of the road and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital by his mother to be treated for minor injuries. Talley was later criminally cited for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On Monday, May 22nd, 2023, at approximately 4:30 pm, deputies responded to the 24600 block of Stovall Lane, Philomath, for a report of a burglary. The resident reported an unknown female entered his unlocked house around 2:30 pm and remained inside for a few minutes. The female then left; it did not appear anything had been removed from the house. The resident obtained this information from his Ring security cam disturbed era.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, May 22, 2023, at about 4:25 pm, deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Parole and Probation Office at 180 NW 5th Street, Corvallis, to contact Amathist Jamey Danyel Lahodny, 24, who had two warrants for her arrest. Lahodny was arrested and, at the request of the warrant-issuing courts, issued citations in lieu of custody.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 05/22/2023 at 4:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a report of an injury crash on NW Highland Drive near NW Wild Rose Drive. When deputies arrived, both vehicles were off the roadway and the drivers were exchanging information. Neither driver was injured, nor the juvenile passengers.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On March 18, 2023, around 4:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash, with reported injuries, on Highway 20, just east of the Blodgett Store. Deputies spoke with the driver of the vehicle who said he and his wife had just eaten lunch in Newport and were driving to Corvallis. The driver said he fell asleep. Both were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for suspected minor injuries.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; LITTERING; TAMPER W/ EVIDENCE; ELUDE FOOT - On May 16th, 2023 at around 4:23 PM, deputies attempted to stop a silver Impala with obstructed plates. Both passengers attempted to walk away from the stop. Then the driver fled, and one of the passengers fled. The driver, Jerrimiah Toering, 42, was apprehended and had a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant. The passenger, Tylor Setzer, 31, had 8 warrants. Both Setzer and Toering were issued criminal citations in lieu of custody on their warrants and local charges due to a lack of staffing.
THEFT BY EXTORTION - On Sunday, May 7, 2023, at approximately 12:30 PM, deputies contacted a person who wanted to report being sent unsolicited nude photos over text message. The person was then told the photos were of a minor and told to pay $6,000 or they would be turned in to law enforcement for possession of child sex abuse material.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, May 26, 2023, at approximately 11:00 AM, deputies responded to a crash at Highway 99W and Lewisburg Avenue, involving 2 commercial trucks. One driver was cited for operating a commercial motor vehicle without a license and following too closely. Both drivers exchanged information and their vehicles were towed from the scene.
THEFT 2 - On May 24, 2023, at around 9:30 pm, deputies spoke by phone with a female, who reported that on May 19th her boyfriend`s father`s girlfriend`s (but technically aunt`s) daughter, Raylynn Connour, 18, stole two tattoo guns and tattoo supplies from her while a large family group was camping near Humbert McBee Memorial Campground. The items were valued at $668. Deputies later issued Raylynn a criminal citation for Theft 2nd Degree.
Tuesday, May 30, 2023 Homero Sanchez Concha, 21, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII and Reckless Endangering.
Sunday, May 28, 2023 Michael Douglas Hathaway, 42, of Utah was arrested for DUII, Drugs, and Reckless Driving.
Sunday, May 28, 2023 Jeffery Scott Adams, 43, of Albany was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Elude Vehicle, and Driving While Suspended (misdemeanor).
Friday, May 26, 2023 Tyler Joseph Tally, 19, of Philomath was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
Wednesday, May 24, 2023 Danny Jo Jackson, 39, of Lyons was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
BURGLARY 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1; LITTERING; POSS BURGLARS TOOLS - On Monday, May 15, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Clemons Mill Road, Philomath for a burglary that took place in the Kiln area. Deputies spoke with the resident who showed them the area that was burglarized. Then on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the same address above and located Andrew Morgan, 40, who was witnessed on video the prior day. Deputies arrested and lodged Andrew in the Benton County Jail for Burglary one x2, Possession of burglary tool or theft device x2, Criminal mischief in the first degree, and Criminal trespass in the second degree x2.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 24th, 2023, at about 11:45 pm, deputies arrested Robert Cook, 60, at the intersection of North 14th Street and Collage Street in Philomath. Cook had an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Cook was cited and released.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On May 24, 2023, at around 4:43 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 MP4 for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. Driver 1 was driving east in her blue 2002 Dodge Caravan when she stopped for the eastbound vehicle in front of her that had stopped to make a left-hand turn across traffic. Driver 2, traveling east in a black 2013 Volkswagon Jetta behind Driver 1, failed to stop in time and rear-ended Driver 1’s Dodge. The Jetta was towed from the scene.
UUV - On May 26, 2023 at 8:12 am, deputies were dispatched to the 4700 block of NE HWY 20. A resident reported the theft of an enclosed trailer from his residence which was being remodeled. The trailer was described as a gray 6`x12` enclosed single-axle utility trailer manufactured by Continental Cargo.
Wednesday, May 17, 2023 Bruce Helmer Beinert, 53, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII (drugs).
Friday, May 19, 2023 Christine Sara Reynolds, 41, of Eugene was arrested for DUII (drugs) and Reckless Driving.
Saturday, May 20, 2023 Jalen Rakim Moore, 26, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII (drugs) and Reckless Driving.
Tuesday, May 23, 3023 Trevor Sterling Reab, 21, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII (drugs) and Reckless Driving.
MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR - On April 22, 2023, at approximately 2:40 AM, deputies located three juveniles in a parking lot at t Highland Dr and Walnut Blvd. One juvenile was visibly intoxicated and issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. All three were released to parents as they were minors.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 12, 2023, around 12:45 AM, deputies were on Highway 20 near Hyak Park when they saw a 2000 Dodge Dakota had expired registration. Deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 20 and Granger Avenue. The driver identified herself, with a physical photo of her Oregon ID card, as Alaura Ann Baldwin, 32. Dispatch advised Baldwin had warrants from numerous jurisdictions and had a suspended driver’s license. Deputies issued her citations for her warrants, and a traffic citation for Driving While Suspended.
BURGLARY 1 - On Monday, May 15, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Clemons Mill Road, Philomath for a burglary that took place in the Kiln area. Deputies spoke with a male who showed them the area that was burglarized.
VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT - On May 15, 2023, around 5:15 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of 53rd Street for a violation of a release agreement. The caller reported Carrson Douglas Smith, 37, violated the release agreement by returning to their shared apartment. Deputies took Carrson to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and lodged.
ASSAULT 4 - On 5/17/2023 at around 8:00 AM, deputies arrived at a BLM campsite just southwest of Hull Oakes Mill at the end of Dawson Road and arrested Teresa Tracy, 41, for Assault 4. Tracey was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On May 17th, 2023 at around 2:48 PM, deputies responded to the 5600 block of SW Plymouth Drive for a report of a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, deputies determined an 83-year-old female had fallen asleep and driven her vehicle into the ditch. The vehicle had nearly no damage at all and was pulled from the ditch by a tow company.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Friday, May 19, 2023, at about 8:40 AM, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious person on Highway 20 near milepost 7. Deputies arrived and located a male walking north on Independence Highway. The male was warned for trespassing on people`s driveways. Deputies provided him with a bottle of water and an MRE for him to continue his walk.
THEFT 3 - On Saturday, May 20, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the lobby of the law enforcement center for a fraud complaint. Deputies spoke to the person reporting who stated somebody had used her Uber account. The reporter told deputies that she already canceled her bank card and just needed a case number for her bank. Deputies provided her with a case number and she went on her way.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Saturday, May 20, 2023, at about 6:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to investigate a residential burglary alarm activation in the 7500 block of NE Logsdon RD, Corvallis. When deputies arrived, they found access to the property was blocked by a locked gate. Deputies tried to contact the property owners by phone but no one answered and no one responded to the voice messages they left. The alarm company was not able to reach the homeowners they did not have an access code for the gate.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On May 21, 2023 at around 12:32 am, deputies responded to the 200 block of SW 2nd St for a male who threatened to kill another patron. The male later trespassed from the location and was told he would be arrested if he ever returned.
THEFT 3 FROM VEHICLE - On 05/21/2023 at approximately 3:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 100-block of N 5th Street in Monroe for a report of a theft. Daniel Warren report that sometime between 2:00 P.M., and 3:00 P.M., on 05/19/2023, a Stihl brand chainsaw was taken from the bed of his pickup truck. There are no current suspects.
WARRANT ARREST - On 5/21/2023 at approximately 11:52 pm, deputies located a 2004 GMC Yukon on Washburn Ln. just north of High Pass Rd. The male in the driver`s seat was identified as Kodie Bixby (30) of Harrisburg who had multiple warrants for his arrest. Bixby initially locked the doors and refused to exit the vehicle, but eventually complied and was taken into custody. Bixby was lodged at the Linn County Jail on his warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 22, 2023, at 2:11 AM, deputies stopped Brett McLaughlin, 51, on NW 9th Street near NW Circle Boulevard in Corvallis for the Replacement of Vehicle Windows with Non-Department of Transportation Approved Material. McLaughlin was Driving While Suspended Violation and had the below confirmed cite and release warrants. McLaughlin was cited for the traffic violations and warrants. Warrant #1: Albany Municipal Court Contempt of Court Warrant, Bail $00, and Warrant #2: Linn County Circuit Court Contempt of Court Warrant, Bail $00.
BURGLARY 2 - On May 22nd, 2023 at around 08:28 am, deputies responded to the front lobby of the Corvallis Police Department to take a report of a cold burglary that occurred in the 1400 block of NE Seavy Ave. The burglary occurred sometime before May 13th, 2023. The resident discovered his Stihl power equipment was missing from his detached garage. Total value of property taken was approximately $2,009.96.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On May 22nd, 2023 at around 9:18 AM, deputies responded to the intersection of NE HWY 20 and NE Granger Avenue for a non-injury two-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, deputies determined driver 1 had turned his Chevy Equinox into the side of driver 2’s Dodge RAM 3500 pickup causing damage to the passenger side and rear wheel. The Dodge was towed due to damages and the Chevy Equinox was driven from the scene with minor cosmetic damages.
DWS MIS - On May 22nd, 2023 at around 12:00 PM, deputies made a traffic stop on a gray colored Honda Accord at NW Ellsworth Street and SW 3rd Ave. The driver, Bradley Damewood, was suspended misdemeanor. He was subsequently issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
HARASSMENT - On May 18, 2023 at around 4:00 pm, deputies contacted a resident regarding a telephonic harassment. Donald Winsor, who lives in Florida, has been sending threatening texts to the resident regarding a business transaction.
MENACING - On 05/17/2023 at approximately 5:00 pm, deputies investigated a menacing that occurred on Shady Oak Drive in Monroe. During their investigation, they developed probable cause to arrest Roger Griffith, 67, for Menacing. Griffith was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER - On May 15th, 2023, deputies arrested DONALD GENE FORSTE III, 40, for Failure to report as a sex offender (felony) after a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Highway 180. He is required to report bi-annually and had not reported since January 6th, 2021.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On May 14, 2023, at 10:48 AM, deputies contacted Justin Mai, 26, after he was observed loitering around the Law Enforcement parking area and Cascade Apartments saying he had keys for patrol cars. Mai refused to identify himself and was uncooperative. The Benton County Jail was closed. Mai was released with a citation. Mai continued loitering around the Law Enforcement Center and Cascade Apartments after he was released. Mai was told he was trespassing and needed to leave several more times, but he refused. No further action was taken since the jail was closed.
WILDLIFE OFFENSE GAME/FISH/TRAP - On 05/14/2023 at approximately 3:42 pm, deputies assisted Oregon State Police with a game violation at the Finley Wildlife Refuge. A 19-year-old male was arrested for multiple wildlife crimes and his firearm was seized as evidence.
HARASSMENT PHYSICAL - On Saturday, May 13, 2023, at approximately 11:45 PM, depuites responded to 310 NW ST, Corvallis, after a resident reported his brother, Carrson Douglas Smith, 37, was very intoxicated and had punched him. Carrson was later arrested for Harassment and transported to the Benton County Jail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On May 16th, 2023, deputies arrested KATHERINE MAURINE CORDER, 60, for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree after she intentionally destroyed a computer tablet valued at $250.00 provided to her by the Benton County Jail.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On 05/16/2023 at approximately 9:02 pm, deputies were flagged down on Avery Park Drive regarding a disorderly person. Deputies were not able to identify the disorderly female prior to her leaving the area on foot.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 16th, 2023, at around 2:00 PM, deputies were driving near NW Independence Highway and NW Gilmour Lane when they observed a white VW Jetta pulled into a gravel area at a field on the west side of Independence Highway and contacted Starr Whitman, 42, who had run out of gas. Whitman had an active warrant out of Albany Municipal Court and was subsequently issued a criminal citation for Fail to Appear Theft III. Deputies then provided her with a courtesy transport to Main Street in Albany.
CONTEMPT OF COURT - On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a red Honda Odyssey and contacted the driver, Cathrina Adams, 57, who had a cite and release Albany municipal court warrant. Deputies issued Cathrina a criminal citation with a new court date to appear for her FTA contempt of court charge.
DWS FEL - On May 16th, 2023, at around 10:01 AM, deputies observed a small dark sedan speeding near NW Springhill Drive and Independence. Deputies made a traffic stop on the vehicle at NW Springhill Drive at milepost 3 and contacted the driver and identified him as Damon Selves, 41. Selves was suspended felony for a past criminally negligent homicide conviction. He was taken into custody but later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released.
ESCAPE 3 - On May 14, 2023, at 4:22 AM, deputies observed Ricardo Arenas-Briteno, 24, standing near the front window of a market on NW 9th Street in Corvallis. When Ricardo observed deputies, he attempted to leave the area. Deputies detained Ricardo for reasonable suspicion of Criminal Trespass II. Ricardo would not tell deputies his full name. While in handcuffs, Ricardo attempted to escape by running away. Ricardo was captured and transported to the Benton County Jail for Escape III.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 10, 2023 at about 12:45 AM, deputies observed a gold Honda 2002 Honda Accord turn north from Circle Blvd into the Capri Villa trailer park located at 755 NE Circle Blvd. Deputies observed that the vehicle did not signal the turn so they initiated a traffic stop for that violation. During the course of the stop, deputies identified the passenger, Oren Hounchell, 43, who stated he had warrants for his arrest. Deputies saw that Oren did indeed have warrants and issued him citations in lieu of custody. The warrants are as follows: LINN COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT, FTA PCS METH, no bail; FTA PCS METH, no bail; and FTA PCS METH, no bail.

UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 - On May 13, 2023 at around 11:18 pm, deputies contacted Lori Inman, 35, and William Turner, 31, in a vehicle on NW 11 St and NW Harrison Blvd. They were later arrested, cited, and released for Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 - On May 13, 2023 at around 9:02 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 2600 block of NW Michelle Dr for a reported criminal mischief. An unknown group of people in a silver van took the no parking sign out of the ground and threw it over the embankment. Deputies put the sign back up. No suspect info.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 12, 2023 at around 7:17 pm, deputies stopped a silver 2002 Dodge Dakota for suspicion of DUI in the 1800 block of NW 9th St and later arrested Gervacio Eleuterio, 47, for two confirmed warrants. A CPD officer also arrested Gervacio for DUII alcohol.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 12, 2023 at 3:08 pm, deputies contacted Waco Brian Richard Jimenez, 45, on Rondo near HWY 20 after his vehicle had broken down. Jimenez had a confirmed Lebanon Justice Court warrant for FTA PV, $10500 bail. During the contact, Jimenez complained about a possible stroke. Albany medics responded and Jimenez refused treatment. Jimenez was cited and released on this warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 12th, 2023 at about 1:00 pm, deputies made contact with Belinda Sheldon, 54, in the parking lot out in front of a business in Monroe. Deputies know Sheldon from past contacts with her. Dispatch advised she had 2 outstanding warrants for her arrest. The warrants were confirmed and she was cited in leu of custody. Warrant Info: LINN COUNTY CIRCUIT, CONTEMPT OF COURT X4, NO BAIL AND ALBANY MUNI COURT FTA CHILD NEGLECT II, BAIL/$6250
VIOL RESTRAINING ORDER - On May 11, 2023 at about 9:00 am, deputies spoke with a female by phone who reported Jacob Nathaniel Waddle, 39, violated a Benton County Circuit Court-ordered Restraining Order. The female provided screenshots of the violation. Deputies completed a PC Affidavit as Waddle was currently lodged in the Benton County Jail on other charges.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On May 10, 2023, deputies were dispatched to Alsea for a criminal mischief complaint. Anthony Scott Davis, 50, stabbed a screwdriver into a sign for an Alsea business. Davis told deputies this was a matter between heaven and hell and that he used a screwdriver to stab the sign. Two holes were visible in the sign consistent with a screwdriver. Deputies arrested Davis and transported him to the jail without incident.
HARASSMENT - On May 10, 2023, a resident reported her ex-boyfriend`s grandson in Ohio has been calling her leaving threatening messages.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 10, 2023, at around 12:30 am, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2016 Chrysler 200 near NW Scenic Dr and NW Springhill Rd and later arrested David Terriquez, 28, for two statewide felony warrants out of Marion County Circuit Court for FTA UUMV, and a Dallas Municipal Court warrant for FTA-DWS-Misd. Terriquez was issued criminal citations for the warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 9, 2023, deputies contacted a male on Hickory Street near Springhill Drive in North Albany. The male provided deputies with his name and date of birth. The male, Joshua Cole, 28, returned with a confirmed Albany Municipal Court warrant for trespass 2. Joshua was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody. Joshua stated he would show up to his new court date.
RECKLESS ENDANGERING; RECKLESS DRIVING - On May 8th, 2023 at around 4:00 PM, deputies attempted to stop a white Honda SUV after it passed westbound traffic through the intersection and in the oncoming lane near HWY 34 and Peoria Rd. The vehicle continued to drive recklessly, disregarding patrol car lights and sirens and weaving in and out of traffic. It continued into Corvallis and turned eastbound on HWY 20. The vehicle ran the red turn signal at HWY 20 and Circle then came to a stop. The driver, Roxanne Hanks, 52, told deputies she was driving erratically because her grandson was at the hospital. Roxanne was cited in lieu of custody for Reckless Driving, and Reckless endangering x2. Roxanne was transported to the hospital to be with her grandchild.
HARASSMENT PHYSICAL; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON; MENACING - On Sunday, May 7, 2023, at approximately 2:15 PM, deputies responded to Marys Peak Road and Highway 34 for an assault with a knife. Deputies contacted Terry Lynn Bunnell, 45, in a silver Ford Ranger on Highway 34 near MP 50. Bunnell was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, and Harassment and transported to the Benton County Jail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On May 7th, 2023 at around 8:50 AM, deputies responded to a single-vehicle non-injury crash at HWY 99W and Herbert Rd. A 19-year-old male evidently fell asleep at the wheel and drove his van into the ditch.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 - On Friday, May 5, 2023, at approximately 6:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident regarding damage to her vehicle at her house, located in the 25200 block of Webster Avenue, Monroe. The resident told deputies she had recently received a call from her neighbor saying the passenger side window on her car was broken. The resident told deputies it appeared as though someone was throwing a ball against her car and ended up breaking the window. The damage was valued at 200.00 to 300.00 dollars.
HARASSMENT PHYSICAL; THEFT 1 - On May 4, 2023 at around 5:22 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24500 block of Evergreen Road for a reported threats complaint. Heather Anne Engelman, 66, was later arrested, cited, and released for Harassment and Theft 1.
WARRANT ARREST - On May 4, 2023 at 2:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to what was reported as a burglary in progress in the 800 block of NE Granger Ave. Upon arrival, deputies contacted William Elvin Spann, 52, and Matthew Ruben Wickham, 39, on the property. Spann and Wickham reported they had permission to clean up the property by the owner. Deputies found they both had active warrants for their arrest and cited and released Spann for two warrants: Benton County Circuit Court warrant for FTA Theft 2 and Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for DWS Mis, $10000 bail. And arrested and transported Wickham to the Benton County Jail on his Marion County Circuit Court warrant for FTA Theft 2, $80000 bail.

WARRANT ARREST - On April 30th, 2023 at around 9:38 AM, deputies made a traffic stop on a Ford Escape hatchback. The traffic stop was at the Aerodrome in Adair located at 7500 NE Arnold Ave. The driver, Traver Williams, 35, had an active warrant for DUII out of the Benton County Circuit Court. He was subsequently issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody..
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 4/28/2023 at around 3:15 PM, deputies came upon a vehicle in the ditch on Maxfield Creek Road near MP1. The vehicle was facing east in the ditch of the westbound lane. The vehicle’s airbags had deployed from the impact to the vehicle. On 4/29/2023 at around 1:35 PM, deputies spoke with Latisha by phone, and she told deputies she was driving her vehicle the day before when she swerved to miss an animal and went into the ditch.
WARRANT ARREST - JASON DENAULT, 33, WAS IN CUSTODY AT BENTON COUNTY JAIL AND WAS RAN FOR WANTS PRIOR TO RELEASE. A WARRANT FOR FTA ASSAULT IV OUT OF LEBANON MUNICIAL COURT WAS LOCATED. LEBANON PD PROVIDED A NEW COURT DATE.
WARRANT ARREST - On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, deputies located a 2000 Lincoln Town Car at Forest Dell Natural area on 13th Street, Corvallis. Deputies contacted Coby Emmitt, 28, who had a warrant for fail to appear assault four. Deputies arrested Coby for his warrant and later issued him a citation and released him with his new court date.
VIOL COURT STALKING PROTECT ORDER; CRIMINAL TRESPASS W/ FIREARM - On Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 at approximately 12:50 am, deputies were dispatched to the 24900 block of Evergreen Road, Philomath, Benton County for a report of a trespass. Jacob Waddle, 38, was at the location and is the respondent of a valid no-contact order signed by a Benton County Circuit Court Judge. A condition of this order is that Jacob is not allowed to be within 150 feet of the mentioned property. Waddle was stopped in Philomath and arrested for violating this order as well as criminal trespass with a firearm. Deputies transported Waddle to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.

WARRANT ARREST - On 04/16/2023, deputies ran Rictor, Rachelle Joann in LEDS for warrants and located an Albany Muni Warrant. Albany provided a court date and time. Rictor, Rachelle Joann, 32, was released on 04/17/2023 on local charges and will be provided with the court date and time provided by Albany PD.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 12, 2023 at approximately 3:45 pm, ATHILL, Tonie Jeanette, 34, turned herself in at the Benton County Jail and indicated that she had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Courthouse. ATHILL was released after having signed agreements to appear at the above courts, which were forwarded.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On Thursday, April 6, 2023 at approximately 8:00 am, MOUSSAOUI, Assia Amina, 33, turned themself in at the Benton County Jail in Corvallis, OR and indicated that they had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Court. Valid warrants issued by Benton County Circuit Court on April 4, 2023. MOUSSAOUI, Assia Amina was released after having signed a release agreement to appear at the Benton County Circuit Court
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/31/2023, Anna Watts, 25, was brought to the jail by court security for several warrants. Deputies confirmed 2 warrants with dispatch out of Marion County and Linn Justice. The Marion County warrant was for FTA theft II, and the Linn Justice warrant was for FTA trespass. Both warrants were confirmed and served.
WARRANT ARREST - ON 3/29/22 AT APPROXIMATELY 10:07 PM, ANDERSEN, CHRISTIAN, 30, TURNED HERSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED ON A WARRANT FOR FTA ANIMAL ABUSE 2, BAIL 1,000.00. THE WARRANT WAS CONFIRMED WITH DISPATCH AND WAS SERVED ON ANDERSEN.

WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, April 29, 2023, at approximately 9:00 AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop near 110 SW 53rd Street, Benton County on a blue Dodge Dakota for speeding and later arrested Ismael Francisco Nelson, 40, for three warrants, Benton County Circuit Court Failure to Appear- Theft 2, Linn County Circuit Court Failure to Appear-Assault 4, and Albany Municipal Court Contempt of Court. Nelson was transported to Linn County Sheriff`s Office and booked on the Linn County warrant.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On April 27, 2023, at 10:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 99W near milepost 102. The driver reported he was traveling northbound on Highway 99W when he fell asleep. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times. The vehicle came to an uncontrolled rest on the east shoulder of Highway 99W. The driver reported minor injuries and refused medical attention. The vehicle was towed.
THEFT 2 - On Thursday, April 27, 2023 at approximately 4:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to speak with a resident regarding the theft of a trail camera in the 24500 block of Bellfountain Road. The resident told deputies this is a cellular enabled, Tactacam Reveal XB, trail camera that is valued at 160.00 dollars and said the camera last sent a picture at 12:00 P.M. and it was a picture of the ground. Case was discontinued due to a lack of investigative leads.
BURGLARY 2; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On April 27, 2023 at 8:45 am, deputies were dispatched to the 4700 block of NW Barbara St. A resident reported sometime between 4/22/23 and 4/27/23 an unknown subject entered one of her outbuildings and spray painted the word "pot" on an interior door. Deputies spoke with the resident about different security measures.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On April 27th, 2023, at about 2:44 am, deputies were dispatched to 525 NW Monroe Ave in Corvallis, Oregon, for a trespass. A male was sleeping on the back steps. The male had no active warrants and agreed to move along.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 26, 2023, at around 6:11 pm, deputies contacted a silver 2001 Oldsmobile Alero near Michael`s Landing in Corvallis and later arrested Eric Encinas, 44, for a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for Failure to appear - Driving while suspended.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 26th, 2023 at around 10:51 AM, deputies were dispatched to assist at the Benton County Parole and Probation office for a wanted subject. Jaris Wall, 44, was checking in with her P.O. and had an active Albany Municipal Warrant. Deputies contacted Wall and she was subsequently issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 25, 2023, at around 9:50 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W MP 93 for a report of a woman walking along the fog line. Deputies later contacted Rachelle Guess. Guess was given a courtesy transport to SW Wake Robin Ave and SW Pickford St. Guess was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody for a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for Probation Violation-Trespass 2.
DWS MIS - On April 23rd, 2023 at around 12:15 pm, deputies contacted Colin Reeves, 27, whom they had earlier seen driving. Reeves license status was suspended misdemeanor. He was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 22, 2023, at about 1:20 AM, deputies contacted a male on Highway 20 near Milepost ten. The male provided deputies with his name and said he believed he had a warrant for his arrest. Adam Pendley, 41, had a confirmed Linn County Justice Court warrant for Probation Violation. Pendley was issued a criminal citation for his warrant.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 3 - On Tuesday April 25, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the 26600 block of Monroe Cemetery Road, Monroe for a Trespass call. The person reporting stated his neighbor had advised him of somebody being in the house at which nobody has permission to be. When deputies arrived, they searched the house and property and found nobody, but located some items that did not belong. I took the items and placed into evidence.
PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT - On April 24th, 2023, at about 11:20 pm, Tye King, 41, was arrested at Takena Landing Park in Albany Oregon, for a Parole Warrant out of Linn County, Oregon. King was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Sunday, April 23, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the 3700 block of NE Highway 20, Corvallis for a criminal mischief complaint. The facilities gate had the lock cut off. The reporter said everything looked okay other than one trailer missing. Deputies talked to the owner of the trailer who gave details on the trailer and its approximate value.
FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT - On April 23rd, 2023 at around 3:38 PM, deputies observed a white 2000 Buick Century driving North on North Albany Rd. The registered owner, Christian Aaron Peters, 34, was suspended violation and had an active Albany Municipal Court Warrant for FTA- Traffic offense. The vehicle pulled into a driveway on N. Albany Rd. Peters was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody on his Albany Municipal Warrant and was also issued two traffic citations for ORS.811.175 driving while suspended violation, and ORS.806.010 Driving uninsured.
DWS MIS - On April 23rd, 2023 at around 2:35 PM, deputies made a traffic stop on a Chrysler 200 and contacted the driver, Jeremy Branson, 38. Branson’s license status was suspended misdemeanor. He was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 - On April 21, 2023, at about 12:24, deputies responded to a complaint of a 2003 Audi SUV parked in a field just northwest of Elks Drive, on Highway 99W. The vehicle went into a field on purpose and got stuck. There were minimal ruts caused by the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the roadway and left since the driver is DWS (Violation).
WARRANT ARREST - On April 20, 2023, around 12:30 AM, deputies contacted Arianna Elizabeth Mitchell, 34, near the intersection of 5th Street and Jackson Avenue, Corvallis. Mitchell had multiple warrants from multiple different jurisdictions. Deputies issued citations to Mitchell and informed her of the court dates. Once Mitchell was issued her citations she was released from custody.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 23, 2023, deputies were contacted by Benton County Natural Areas, Parks and Events Department regarding an illegal camp and trespassing at Jackson Frazier Wetlands just north of Corvallis in Benton County. They reported someone had been camping there for a while, despite no camping allowed in the wetland area. They gave the person notice to vacate, but they had not left yet. On April 6, 2023, Deputies contacted a male at the illegal camp. Deputies told him he needed to leave, and not camp there. The work crew and parks department will clean up the site once the flooding and weather allows.

HARASSMENT PHYSICAL; MENACING - On Saturday, April 22, 2023 at approximately 7:00 P.M., deputies arrived in the 800 block of Commercial Street, Monroe, for a reported juvenile complaint. An 11-year-old juvenile in the house had hit their mother multiple times, and threatened to stab her with the sharpened end of a dog toy. Deputies later cited the juvenile for Harassment and Menacing.
BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 - On April 20, 2023 at 7:14 am, deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NW Highland Dr. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a male who explained sometime between 10:30 pm on 4/19/23 and 6:30 am on 4/20/23, an unknown subject forced entry into the building and stole money from a safe.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) - On April 20th, 2023 at about 7:05 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle on Fern Road at Chapel Drive that was called in as being recklessly operated by a possible impaired driver. The grey Chevrolet pickup. The driver admitted he was extremely tired, and had caught himself nodding off a few times during his nearly 2-hour commute to the Toledo area from Springfield.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 20th, 2023, deputies arrested JUSTIN SCOTT HERRING, 36, on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant out of Jackson County after a traffic stop on Highway 99W near Ryals Avenue.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On April 19, 2023, at around 9:32 pm, deputies were dispatched to Harrison Blvd and NW 53rd St for a motor vehicle crash. The driver reported he drove into a ditch when he swerved to avoid another vehicle failing to yield. The white 2017 Nissan Altima was undamaged and towed from the ditch.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash (MVC) non-injury on Highway 99W at milepost 92. When deputies arrived, they witnessed a white dodge pickup. The driver had already contacted a tow company, who arrived and removed the vehicle from the ditch and traffic in both directions was resumed.
PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT - On April 19, 2023, around 3:15 PM, deputies went to the Corvallis Skate Park to transport an adult in custody to the Benton County Jail for the Benton County Parole and Probation Office. When deputies arrived, Michael John Elgin was already handcuffed and in custody. Deputies transported Elgin to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On April 19, 2023, a resident reported items missing from his residence. The resident said he will upgrade his home security and contact the Sheriff`s Office if any additional incidents occur.
DWS MIS - On Monday, April 17, 2023, at about 1:50 AM, deputies were driving south on North Albany Road near Hickory Street in a marked patrol car when they initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2005 Volvo SUV being driven by Mark Turcynski. Turcynski, 54, was issued a criminal citation for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor.
UNLAW USE OF WEAPON; MENACING - On 4/16/2023 at 10:01 pm, Jeffery Allen Davis (45) of Alsea, was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and menacing.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 15, 2023, at about 12:10 AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Pickup truck pulling into West Albany high School. The driver, Nicholas Hochstatter, 44, provided his ID card and informed deputies he had a warrant for his arrest. Hochstatter had a confirmed Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Fail to Appear - Trespass 2. The warrant requested custody and Hochstatter was transported to the Linn County Jail where they would book and release him.
IDENTITY THEFT - On April 14, 2023, deputies spoke with a resident over the phone who advised his bank account had been compromised and personal information changed. His bonus points had been used to buy Apple gift cards.
FINANCIAL TRANS UNLAW ACTIVITY - On March 14th, 2023, at about 6:33 am, a resident called to report he was scammed out of fourteen thousand dollars after speaking to someone on the phone who was alleged to be from the Office of an inspector General in Washington D.C.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 11, 2023, at about 2:10 AM, deputies contacted a Ryan Seib at the 300 block of NW Garfield Avenue in Corvallis. Ryan Sieb was previously a passenger on a traffic stop but left on foot. At the time deputies did not know he had two warrants for his arrest. Sieb had two confirmed warrants, the first was a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for Fail to Appear- Possession of Burglary Tools. Second was an Albany Municipal Court warrant for Fail to appear- Assault IV. Seib was issued a criminal citation and was released.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 10, 2023, at about 2:20 AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a green sedan on SW Philomath Boulevard near SW Blueberry Drive in Corvallis. The passenger identified himself as Robert Stensland, 36, and told deputies he missed a court date and believed he had a warrant. Stensland had two confirmed Benton County Circuit court warrants for Fail to Appear- Theft 3 and for two counts of Theft 3. Stensland was issued a citation for his warrants and released.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On April 18, 2023, at around 6:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to an injury motor vehicle crash on Highway 34/Wolcott St. Driver 1 was turning west onto Highway 34 when her 2013 Toyota Prius was struck from the rear by driver 2, who was driving a 1999 Honda Accord. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, April 17, 2023, deputies were in the 2000 block of NE Granger Avenue, Corvallis when they contacted Waco Jimenez, 45. Dispatch advised Waco had a Fail to Appear warrant for larceny through Albany Municipal Court. Deputies arrested Waco and issued him a criminal citation with a new court date and time.
DWS MIS - On April 13, 2023, at around 9:11 pm, deputies observed Trinity Mendez, 37, driving a blue 2004 Lincoln Aviator on Hwy 20 and North Albany Road and later arrested Mendez for Driving While Suspended-Misdemeanor. Mendez was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
Monday April 17, 2023 Bo Dale Monroe, 21, of Monroe was arrested for DUII (drugs), Violation of a Restraining Order, Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), Reckless Endangering, Disorderly Conduct 2, Contempt of Court, Reckless Driving, and Elude Vehicle.

ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On April 14, 2023 at 11:48 am, deputies observed a Ford pickup pulling a trailer jackknifed in the north ditch on Hwy 20 near MP 8. Deputies contacted the driver, Michael Brandon Cole. Cole stated he was westbound when his loaded trailer began to sway. Cole lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2; WARRANT ARREST; RESISTING ARREST; INTERFERE W/ PEACE OFFICER - On April 14, 2023, at 12:35 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of NE Elliott Circle in Corvallis for a Welfare Check. Deputies attempted to stop and arrest Michael Alvarado, 31, on a confirmed warrant. Michael refused to stop and resisted arrest. Michael was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE - On April 13, 2023, at 11:34 PM, deputies stopped Elijah Jacob Worthen, 20, on Highway 34 near milepost 4 in Linn County for traveling 73 miles per hour and for failure to dim high beams. Worthen did not have a valid driver`s license and provided deputies with a false name for purposes of a citation. Worthen was cited into Linn County Circuit Court for Failure to Carry and Present a Driver`s License and for False Information to a Peace Office.
DWS FEL - On April 13, 2023 at about 1:25 pm, deputies stopped Samantha Rea Elmore, 34, on HWY 20 near Priest Rd for unsafe passing. Elmore was arrested for DWS-Felony and transported to the Benton County Jail. Elmore was cited and released.
RECKLESS DRIVING - On Tuesday, April 11th, 2023, at about 7:26 p.m., deputies arrested Dylan Deer, 27, for Reckless Driving in downtown Corvallis.
FAIL CARRY/PRESENT OP LICENSE; FAIL RETURN SUSP DL - On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. The driver later identified as Austin Fisher, 29, was arrested for failure to carry and present and Failure to return a suspended or revoked license. Deputies issued Austin citations for violations and released him with court dates.
FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; WARRANT ARREST - On April 8, 2023 at around 9:42 pm, deputies contacted William Patrick Ellis, 54, at North Albany Road near NW Hickory Dr. Ellis was later arrested for an outstanding Lebanon Muni Court Warrant and Felon in Possession of a Restricted weapon. He was issued a citation for both crimes.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On April 13th, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 99W near Mountain View Drive for a suspicious vehicle. Deputies contacted a male as he had gotten his pickup stuck in the mud when he pulled off the roadway for mechanical reasons. The male’s father towed him out.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On April 11, 2023, at around 8:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to Bellfountain Rd MP 10 for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. The driver said he was traveling north when he struck a deer, damaging his black 2010 Toyota RAV4. The Toyota was towed from the scene.
DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST - On April 11, 2023, at about 5:17 p.m., deputies stopped BRADLEY DAMEWOOD, 43, for traffic violations on NW 2nd Street near NW Tyler Avenue. Deputies issued DAMEWOOD traffic citations for Driving Uninsured, Improper Display of Registration Sticker, and Fail to Display License Plate. Deputies cited and released DAMEWOOD for Driving While Suspended/Revoked (Misdemeanor), and for cite and release Misdemeanor Warrants out of Albany Municipal Court and Lebanon Municipal Court.
WARRANT ARREST - On 4/10/2023 at 11:37 pm, Elizabeth Ann Suit (48) of Washington, was arrested for a felony warrant out of Washington County for probation violation. She was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On 04/10/2023 at approximately 6:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Harrison Boulevard near Circle Boulevard for a report of a decomposed human body near the roadway. Upon arriving it was apparent that the remains were from a deer. The deer remains were moved off the roadway and Benton County Public Works was notified to retrieve the deer carcass.
HARASSMENT - On 04/09/2023 at approximately 8:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a juvenile complaint in the 100 block of NE Azalea Drive in Adair Village. Deputies contacted a female and her juvenile son who had punched and kicked her multiple times in a dispute over the juvenile`s cell phone. The juvenile was issued a citation in lieu of custody for Physical Harassment.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On April 2, 2023, at approximately 11:35 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 24800 block of Orchard Tract Rd, Monroe, OR for an ATV crash. When deputies arrived, they spoke with a male who said his father had crashed a three-wheeler on his way back from the store.
Tuesday April 11, 2023 Ava Simone Taflan, 20, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII (drugs), Minor in Possession of Marijuana, and Reckless Driving.
Sunday April 9, 2023 Saul Banuelos Munoz, 40, of Albany was arrested for DUII.
Sunday April 9, 2023 Jordan Tristian Bautista, 25, of Ontario was arrested for DUII (drugs) and Reckless Driving.

Friday April 7, 2023 Bradley Daniel Tylman, 63, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII (drugs) and Reckless Driving.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On 04/10/2023 at approximately 6:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Harrison Boulevard near Circle Boulevard for a report of a decomposed human body near the roadway. UPDATE: THEFT 3 SHOPLIFT - On 03/07/2023 at approximately 7:47 pm, Steen Skinner, 32, stole a gray plastic produce bin from the back of Safeway on Philomath Boulevard. Skinner abandoned the item in the 1100 block of Timian Street. Deputies located Skinner on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at about 1:15 AM in the 100 block of SW B Street in Corvallis. Deputies met with Corvallis Police Officers at the scene after hearing they had Steen Skinner detained.  Skinner was issued a criminal citation for Theft 3 and provided a court date and time.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, April 10, 2023 at approximately 2:30 am, deputies stopped Crystal Marcum, 45, at 2nd and Adams Street, Corvallis, for the operation of a vehicle with a non-DOT approved material. Marcum was arrested and transported to Linn County Jail. A passenger, Shanteal Bandy, 38, was cited and released for a warrant out of Lebanon. The vehicle was towed for blocking a fire hydrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On 4/10/2023 at approximately 3:00 am, Shanteal Lynn Fry, 38, was arrested on an outstanding Lebanon Municipal Court warrant as a passenger on a traffic stop. She was cited and released with a new court date.
THEFT 3 - On Sunday, April 9th, 2023 at around 9:00 pm, a resident reported several bags of cans were stolen from her front yard in the 300 block of N 8th Street, Monroe, by an unknown person(s). This theft occurred around 8:30 pm and she estimates she had approximately $30.00 worth of cans in bags. The resident did not have a suspect description for the individual(s).
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On Sunday, April 9, 2023, at about 6:10 pm, deputies stopped a male for walking on the railroad tracks near Highway 99 and Conifer Boulevard. The male told deputies he was looking for a safe place to sleep, so deputies attempted to connect him with the Corvallis Men`s Shelter. The male ultimately declined the assistance offered by the Men`s Shelter, as he would have had to temporarily separate from his dog.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 9, 2023, at 2:01 AM, deputies stopped Jason Dalebout, 48, on Walnut Boulevard near Highway 99W in Corvallis for Expired Registration. Dalebout had a confirmed Felony Parole Board Warrant for Burglary I, No Bail. Deputies transported Dalebout to the Benton County Jail and lodged him on the warrant. The vehicle Dalebout was driving was towed as a traffic hazard.
RECKLESS DRIVING - On Saturday, April 8, 2023, at approximately 10:40 AM, deputies responded to the 7800 block of NW Hope Drive, Corvallis for a report of juveniles recklessly driving dirt bikes on the road. Deputies spoke with the parents of the children and advised they are limited to riding in their yard.
WARRANT ARREST - On Saturday, April 8, 2023, at approximately 9:00 AM, deputies responded to the intersection of N 9th Street and West Hills Road, Philomath for a suspicious person using a parabolic microphone to search for someone in the nearby woods. Deputies contacted Adam Dean Carrier, 48, and later arrested him on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court. Carrier was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On April 8, 2023, at 1:50 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 25100 block of Kyle Road in Monroe, for a prowler. The caller said her neighbor reported seeing a flashlight in her driveway. Upon arrival, deputies searched the property and located a cat, but no evidence of any humans being on the property.
IDENTITY THEFT - On April 7, 2023, deputies spoke with a resident who received a scam call earlier in the week. No money was lost but personal information was given.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On April 7, 2023 at about 10:28 a.m., deputies located a silver/green Honda Odyssey van with a front driver`s door ajar. Deputies had just taken five other UEMV reports at neighboring residences. The van was full of items and looked rummaged through. No one was home and deputies could not contact the vehicle owner.
ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ - On April 7, 2023, at about 9:45 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Granger Avenue near milepost 1.5 for a semi-truck and trailer blocking the road, which attempted to turn around. The driver was attempting to back onto the roadway when the right front of the semi-truck and one of its tires went into the ditch and got stuck.
THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On April 7, 2023 at about 9:38 a.m., deputies responded to NW Glenridge Place for a UEMV. Taken was a Husky socket set, a Pittsburgh brand harmonic balancer puller, $12,000 worth of professional camera equipment, a Vortex scope and a Festool speaker.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On April 7, 2023 at about 9:25 a.m., deputies responded to the 3400 block of NW Dimple Hill Road for a reported UEMV and took a report of three trucks being entered. Stolen were two Fiskars brand machetes and a set of Motorola radios. A breast pump was left behind.
THEFT 2 FROM VEHICLE; UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On April 7, 2023 at about 8:53 a.m., deputies responded to the 3500 block of NW Glenridge Drive for a report of a Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle. Two vehicles were entered and approximately $100.00 cash was stolen.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 6, 2023, at around 11:49 pm, deputies observed a white 2003 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the 1300 block of NW 9th St and later arrested passenger, Amanda Shoulders, 33, for a Jefferson County Circuit Court warrant for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Shoulders was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Tuesday, April 4, at about 6:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on NW Ryals Avenue near NW Independence Highway. Deputies located the reported van that was said to have crashed into a field. The van was clearly parked and had dry gravel underneath. The driver was sleeping in the vehicle and had appeared to "huffed" compressed gas while parked overnight. She was parked since midnight and stated she would wait for a sober, licensed driver to drive her van.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On 04/03/2023, deputies were dispatched for a report of suspicious circumstances in the 24000 block of Highway 34 in Philomath. Deputies spoke with a resident over the phone who explained that someone had removed building steaks from his shed. The steaks were not stolen, just removed from their secured location. The caller said nothing was stolen from the property and this occurred sometime between 03/31/2023 and 04/03/2023. There is no suspect information at this time.
ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ - On April 2nd 2023 at about 1:03 pm, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Hwy 99W at or near Adair Frontage Road. Deputies were told there were two vehicles involved and one was partially in the roadway. When deputies arrived at the crash they noticed one vehicle partially in the north bound lane of travel and the other vehicle involved was off the roadway in a small field next to Hwy 99W on Adair Frontage Road. The occupants of both vehicles were out and exchanging information. No injuries.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, March 31, 2023, at about 11:55 AM, deputies contacted two adults at Hyak Park in the public restrooms. Deputies informed the two adults they were trespassing and not able to sleep in the bathrooms. The female had no warrants and was issued a warning for criminal trespass. The male, Scott Medford, 22, had a confirmed Albany Municipal Court warrant for Interfering With A Police Officer. Medford was issued a criminal citation for his warrant and released. He was additionally issued a warning for trespass.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at about 1:20 pm, deputies spoke with a resident on the phone regarding damage to her yard and mailbox. The caller stated she returned from a vacation and observed her mailbox damaged and dislodged, a small bush uprooted and what appeared to be tire marks in her front yard. The resident took photos of the damage and forwarded them to an office email. No suspect info at this time.
FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; WARRANT ARREST - On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, deputies stopped David Terriquez, 28, on NW Ryals and Highway 99W in a silver 2001 Ford van. David had two Marion County warrants for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. David was arrested on the warrants and new criminal charges of Giving False Info to a Police Officer X2. Benton County and Marion County Jails provided court dates for David. David was released with new court dates for the criminal charges and numerous violations. The passenger of the vehicle was issued a citation for a violation.
HARASSMENT PHYSICAL CONTACT/SIMPLE ASSAULT - On Monday, April 3, 2023, at about 1:20 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Dragon Drive in Monroe for a report of an assault. A juvenile student had kicked, punched, bitten, and elbowed the caller. Deputies later issued the juvenile a criminal citation into Juvenile Court for Harassment. Deputies gave the juvenile a courtesy ride to his residence and released him to his grandfather.
WARRANT ARREST - On 04/03/2023 at approximately 9:30 am, Cardenas, Christopher Alexander, 21, turned himself in at the jail lobby on an FTA Warrant for Misd DUII with an SRA of 3000-00. The above-listed warrant was confirmed and Cardenas, Christopher Alexander was taken into custody for lodging at BCCF.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Monday, April 3, 2023, at about 8:30 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W near Elliott Circle for a vehicle crash. Deputies arrived and observed a loaded semi-truck crashed onto its side in the ditch along the southbound lane of Highway 99W. The driver stated his load of three large logs shift causing his trailer to sway heavily which pulled the cab towards the ditch. The driver stated his right-side tires got off the roadway and he crashed into the ditch. The driver refused medical treatment.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 4/2/2023 at approximately 5:42 am, deputies responded to Highway 99 near milepost 98 for a single-vehicle crash. The operator fell asleep while driving and crashed into a power pole. He did not sustain any injuries.
WARRANT ARREST - On April 2, 2023, at 6:29 AM, deputies contacted Nicholas Hochstatter, 44, on SW Arbor Grove Drive near SW Trellis Drive in Corvallis. Hochstatter had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for FTA/ Trespassing, Bail $1,250. Hochstatter was issued a new court date and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 04/01/2023 at approximately 1:30 A.M., deputies performed a traffic stop on a white sedan on 3rd Street near Washington Avenue in Corvallis. The driver, David Adams, 46, was taken into custody on a Benton County warrant. Adams was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER - On March 31, 2023 at about 12:40 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of NW Walnut for a report of stolen property. During this investigation, deputies contacted Adam Jackson Pryor, 36. It was determined Pryor was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. Deputies issued Pryor a citation for Fail to Report as a Sex Offender.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/30/2023 at approximately 7:19 pm, deputies contacted Clarence Vandehey, 42, on Bellfountain Road near SW 53rd Street. Vandehey had an active warrant for his arrest from Lebanon Municipal Court. Deputies issued Vandehey a criminal citation in lieu of custody and drove him into Philomath.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Thursday, March 30, 2023, at approximately 3:00 PM, deputies observed an individual with a bike and trailer in an abandoned camp alongside Highway 20 near milepost 1.5 posted with No Trespassing signs. Deputies later arrested Kraig Michael Onie, 52, for Criminal Trespass 2. Onie was issued a citation in lieu of custody and escorted from the area.
DWS MIS - On March 30th, 2023 at about 1:06 pm, deputies stopped Mr. John Roger Bauer, 58, for failing to use his seatbelt. Dispatch advised that Bauer was DWS-Misdemeanor out of Oregon DMV. Deputies cited Bauer for the DWS-Misdemeanor and he was released to appear at a later court date.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Wednesday, March 30, 2023, at about 1:30 am, deputies arrested Jeremiah Christopher Botts, 43, for trespassing on land owned by a private landowner south of Highway 20 between mileposts 1 and 2. Botts was cited for Criminal Trespass 2 and Violation Possession of Methamphetamine. Botts was escorted from the property and released.
Thursday March 30, 2023 Matthew Arnold Casarez, 26, of Scio was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
Wednesday March 29, 2023 Phillip Ryan Kessler Jr., 20, of California was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Minor in Possession of Liquor.
POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On Wednesday, March 30, 2023, at about 1:30 am, deputies arrested Jeremiah Christopher Botts, 43, for trespassing on land owned by a private landowner south of Highway 20 between mileposts 1 and 2. Botts was cited for Criminal Trespass 2 and Violation Possession of Methamphetamine. Botts was escorted from the property and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 29th, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of SW Allen Street Corvallis, for a welfare check. Jose Brambila, 31, was arrested for his outstanding warrants. Brambila was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 29, 2023 at about 11:30 AM, deputies responded to the 23800 block of Maxfield Creek Rd for a report of a possibly stolen vehicle and a probation client with a firearm. There was no stolen vehicle of a firearm; however, a resident at that location, Kathrin Bly, 51, had 4 outstanding warrants for her arrest.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/23/23 Hawkins, Jared, 34, turned himself in at Benton Co Jail. Deputies ran a wants/warrants check on Hawkins. Hawkins had a Benton County circuit warrant for FTA ID theft. Deputies confirmed this warrant and then served the warrant on Hawkins.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/22/23 DUFF, Jeremy Ryan, 28, was brought in from the courts on a warrant for Assault II. This warrant was confirmed and served by records. DUFF was taken into custody and went to court on 03/22/23 at 1:30 pm, where he was released by the courts.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On March 17, 2023, at around 6:18 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of NW Vineyard Dr for a suspicious person. A strange vehicle and man and woman were reported in the driveway of an abandoned house. Deputies later determined the man and women were hired to clean and secure the property.
RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE - On March 12th, 2023 at around 4:47 AM, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding and having no tail lights. The vehicle eluded deputies and began driving recklessly so deputies discontinued the pursuit. Corvallis Police Officers also attempted to stop the vehicle and it again eluded. A short time later deputies were in a position of advantage to deploy STOP STICKS and were able to successfully deploy the STOP STICKS which later rendered the vehicle inoperable, and the suspect was taken into custody by Corvallis Police Department.

WARRANT ARREST - On 03/30/2023 at approximately 7:19 pm, deputies contacted Clarence Vandehey, 42, on Bellfountain Road near SW 53rd Street. Vandehey had an active warrant for his arrest from Lebanon Municipal Court. Deputies issued Vandehey a criminal citation in lieu of custody and drove him into Philomath, where he was released from custody.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On 03/30/2023 at approximately 8:42 pm, deputies were dispatched to Bellfountain Park for a Trespass. A neighbor called to report people having a campfire at the park after curfew hours. Deputies contacted the couple as they were leaving the park and they were counseled about park hours.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 - On Thursday, March 30, 2023, at approximately 8:45 AM, deputies were dispatched to contact a possible intoxicated person on the railroad tracks along Highway 99W near Elliot Circle, Benton County. Deputies transported a male to North Albany where he requested to be dropped off with some friends.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 29, 2023, at around 11:10 pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white 1998 Subaru Impreza and later arrested Andrew Bledsoe, 38, for an Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTA - Trespassing 2. Bledsoe was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.
ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ - On 3/29/2023 at approximately 10:59 pm, deputies responded to Highway 99 near Dawson Rd. for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. A female from Philomath was driving north on Highway 99 when her vehicle was struck with a handle of a broomstick that came off of a passing vehicle. The handle went through the windshield of her vehicle, narrowly missing her head. She sustained minor hand injuries and her vehicle was towed.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/29/2023 at approximately 6:49 pm, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Chevy suburban on Circle Blvd. near Four Acre Place. The operator, Rachel Michelle-Lee Rourke, (34) of Albany, was cited in lieu of custody on an outstanding Albany Municipal Court warrant.
DWS MIS - On 3/29/2023 at approximately 6:12 pm, Justin Curtis Gilmore (36) of Lebanon, was arrested by the Benton County Sheriff`s Office for driving while suspended-misdemeanor on Conifer Blvd. near Highway 20.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On March 29, 2023, at around 3:50 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 26600 block of Gwillim Lane for a Hit and Run. A driver reported someone backed into his van in his driveway. Deputies later located the suspect and vehicle in Monroe and facilitated the exchange of insurance information. The suspect was warned about not leaving contact information following a traffic crash.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On 3/28/2023 at 11:00 pm, deputies responded to the Greenberry Tavern for a trespass. Deputies contacted Jason Page, a transient from Eugene. Deputies provided Page with a courtesy ride to Junction City.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/28/2023 at approximately 8:29 pm, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a blue Saturn in the IGA parking lot. One of the passengers, Mark Turczynski (54) of Albany, was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor Linn County Circuit Court warrant. He was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 28, 2023, at around 4:06 pm, deputies were dispatched to NW Springhill Dr Milepost 3 for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. The driver said he drove his blue 2009 Toyota Tacoma over 100 feet off the roadway after he swerved to avoid a "dog or coyote". The driver was uninjured and was arranging for a private tow.
WARRANT ARREST - On Monday, March 27, 2023, at about 7:20 pm, deputies stopped a white 2018 Volkswagen Atlas for a traffic violation and later arrested the driver, Alicia Danielle Nielsen, 36, for two confirmed warrants, one of which was broadcast as full custody, out of Corvallis Municipal Court. Deputies transported Nielsen to the Benton County Jail where she was issued new court dates for her warrants. Deputies gave Nielsen a courtesy transport to her residence and released her.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On March 27, 2023 at around 1:41 pm, deputies were dispatched to NW Springhill Rd near milepost #3 for a single-vehicle rollover crash. The driver refused medical attention.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 27, 2023 at around 12:17 pm, deputies stopped John David Caldwell, 29, at SW 4th St and SW C Ave for offensive littering. John was warned about the littering and issued a citation for his Albany Muni Court warrant.
THEFT 3 - On March 27, 2023 at about 11:30 AM, deputies spoke with a caller in the 43 block of NW Circle Blvd, who reported the theft of a Black Lives Matter sign worth $75.
WARRANT ARREST – On Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 12:30 am, depuites observed a primer gray/black 2007 Ford Crown Victoria driving south on 9th Street commit two driving violations. Deputies performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned the driver, Bryanah Tranilla, 29, had an Albany Municipal Court warrant for failing to appear on a theft three charge. Bryanah was subsequently issued a citation with a new court date.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On March 26th, 2023, at about 12:53 pm, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 20, milepost 47. This was a single-vehicle crash into a tree up an embankment. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE; DWS MIS - On March 26, 2023, at 6:00 AM, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 180 and Devitt Road near Blodgett for a grey Isuzu Rodeo parked in the middle of the road. Upon arrival, deputies attempted to arrest Jason Page, 34, for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Page sped off into a field leading deputies on a short vehicle pursuit before his vehicle became stuck in the mud. During the pursuit, Page intentionally drove his vehicle over an electric fence and caused property damage to a field. Page was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Sheriff`s Office. Page stated he ran because he did not want to go back to jail and was out on bail in Lane County. The Benton County Jail was closed and could not accept a new custody. Page was cited and released for Elude by Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor and Criminal Mischief II.
ELUDE VEHICLE - On Saturday, March 25, 2023, deputies were driving West on Highway 20 when they witnessed a gold-colored 1997 Buick Regal with no rear license plate or temporary tag in the back window of the vehicle. Deputies initiated a traffic stop with their patrol vehicle’s overhead lights. The driver, Bryant Elliott, 26, failed to yield and eluded. Lincoln County Sheriff`s Office later stopped Bryant and arrested him on multiple charges. Deputies cited Bryant to the Benton County Circuit Court for elude.
RESISTING ARREST; PAROLE VIOLATION - On 3/24/23, at approximately 2:30 pm, at the Parole and Probation Office located at 180 NW 5th Steet, Corvallis, deputies arrested Kevin Quintero-Serrano, 27, for violating the conditions of his supervision. While executing the arrest, Quintero-Serrano resisted arrest and made multiple threats about harming deputies. Quintero-Serrano was arrested and lodged at the Benton County Jail. On 3/28/23, he was cited for resisting arrest.
ASSAULT 4 - On March 23, 2023, deputies spoke with a caller in the 24200 block of Williams Rd, Monroe, regarding a cold assault from earlier in the week he wanted documented.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On March 23, 2023 at about 8:20 am, deputies were dispatched to the 24900 block of Evergreen Rd for a criminal mischief. A female reported the back window of her vehicle had been broken out. The female believes her ex is the likely suspect.
INTERFERE W/ FIREFIGHTER - On 03/23/2023 at approximately 1:37 am, deputies responded to the 1300 block of South Nebergall Lp in North Albany for a disturbance. Two adult females were intoxicated and engaged in an argument. Natalie Roberts, 34, was arrested during the investigation for Interfering with an EMT in the course of their official duties. Roberts was transported to Albany General Hospital by medics where she was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 22, 2023, at about 3:59 p.m., deputies responded to a non-injury, single-vehicle rollover crash on Camp Adair Road, just east of Highway 99W. The driver said he was driving in a large dump truck-style Chevrolet, loaded with roofing material/trash westbound on Camp Adair Road. Due to the heavy and high load, it appeared the Chevrolet tipped over due to the speed when negotiating the curve in the roadway. The trash was picked up by the roofing company.
UUV – On Monday, March 20, 2023, at about 11:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a reported stolen vehicle at 441 N 7th Street in Monroe. Evita Rivera, 19, was arrested for Unlawful use of a Motor Vehicle and transported to Benton County jail where she was booked and lodged.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On March 26, 2023 at around 9:14 am, deputies found a 2011 white Ford F350 on Hwy 99 near milepost 80 with a broken back window. Deputies contacted the registered owner, who stated the vehicle broke down the day prior, but the window was intact at the time.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 25, 2023 at about 3:50 p.m., deputies were at NW Harrison Boulevard and NW 3rd Street when dispatch aired a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was two cars in front of deputies. The driver eventually yielded and Mary Catherine Jacks, 41, was cited for an Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Failure to Comply. She was also cited for DWS (Violation). She was warned for a multitude of other violations. She parked her vehicle and walked home.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 23rd, 2023 at about 10:10 am, deputies were contacted by Benton County P&P regarding Owen Simonds, 33, sitting in the P&P lobby. Deputies were told Simonds had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Benton County P&P. That warrant was confirmed through dispatch. Deputies made contact and arrested Simonds on the warrant for PV. He was later lodged in the Benton County jail. Warrant Info: PV - Sex Abuse III, No Bail.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On Thursday, March 23, 2023, deputies responded to Adair City Park for a report of suspicious subjects in a silver Honda near the water treatment facility. The vehicle and its occupants left prior to deputy arrival, and were unable to locate them in the surrounding area.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 CRIME DAMAGE - On March 23, 2023 at about 8:20 am, deputies were dispatched to the 24900 block of Evergreen Rd for a criminal mischief. A female reported the back window of her vehicle had been broken out.

THEFT 2 - On Monday, March 20, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a fraud call in the 29100 block of Blake Drive, Corvallis involving a reporting person’s bank accounts, Venmo and Eventbrite. Deputies spoke with a female who stated she has approximately $150 worth of charges taken from her account through Venmo. Camille also said she has not received funds from Eventbrite that was linked to her personal accounts.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On March 19th, 2023, deputies were dispatched to the 31900 block of Fern Road, Philomath, Oregon, for a noise disturbance. An anonymous caller and a neighbor reported a loud noise from a radio coming from the residence. Jacob Carlson, 28, was criminally cited for Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On March 17, 2023, at around 5:59 pm, deputies were dispatched to the area near 2200 NE Conifer Blvd for a report of a suspicious person. A caller reported a white male riding a bike up a driveway near an Oregon State University-owned building. The caller did not see the man exit the driveway and was concerned about possible theft. Deputies were unable to locate the individual. No sign of breaking and entering at any building in the area.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On March 17, 2023 at around 2:52 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of Overlook Dr for a suspicious circumstance. A resident had metal fencing and concrete yard ornaments removed from his property and thrown into the creek. No suspect info.
DEPOSIT LIGHTED MATERIAL-LAND/HWY - On March 15, 2023 at around 1:15 pm, deputies stopped Theresa Gail Roberts, 59, for Throwing away Lighted Objects near NW 5th St and NW Polk Ave. She was issued a citation and released.
FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD - On March 11th, 2023 at about 10:14 am, deputies were in contact with a resident by phone who reported he sent $8000.00 by bank wire to a person on eBay selling an $8000.00 16-foot-long dump trailer and figured out it was a scam.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, March 19th, 2023, at about 7:38 p.m., deputies responded to NE Hwy 20 near MP 5 for a three-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash. There were no injuries, two vehicles were towed, and no enforcement action taken.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 22, 2023, at around 8:47 pm, deputies contacted a red 1994 Geo Prizm that was parked near the intersection of NW 1st St and NW Tyler Ave and later arrested Rachelle Rictor, 32, for warrants out of Benton County Circuit Court for FTA - Child Neglect 2nd Degree, FTA - Assault 4th Degree, and FTA - Theft 2nd Degree. Rictor also had cite-and-release warrants out of Albany Municipal Court for Theft 2nd Degree, and Lebanon Municipal Court for Theft 2nd Degree - Probation Violation. Rictor was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/21/2023 at approximately 3:53 pm, deputies responded to the intersection of Hwy 20/Hwy 34 for a motor vehicle crash. One of the passengers, identified as Evan Alexander Buchan, 33, was arrested for an extraditable California warrant for probation violation. He was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On 3/21/2023 at 3:52 pm, deputies responded to the intersection of Hwy 20 and Hwy 34 for a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus and a passenger car. Both vehicles were towed and there were only minor injuries.
PAROLE VIOLATION - On March 21st, 2023, deputies responded to a warrant service in the 1100 block of South 11 Street, Philomath, Benigno Pineda, 32, was arrested for a parole violation. Pineda was transported and lodged in the Benton County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST - Monday, March 21, 2023, at about 12:15 pm, deputies arrested Bo Dale Monroe, 21, in the 25400 block of Foxview Lane, Monroe, on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree. At the request of the Linn County Circuit Court, Monroe was issued a citation with a new court date.

ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY - On March 16, 2023, at about 10:14 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an injury motorcycle crash on NW Springhill Drive at about MP 4. A rider crashed his motorcycle, a 1997 Honda G/2, after hitting a deer. The rider was transported to ALGH by Albany Medics. The rider sustained a broken left arm and broken facial bones.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 15, 2023, around 11:20 PM, deputies observed a silver Hyundai almost cause a traffic crash. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on 5th Street, where it turns into Buchanan Avenue. Dispatched informed that Holland-Leston, Jennifer, 52, had a warrant issued by Albany Municipal Court for a Traffic Offense. Deputies issued to citation to Holland-Leston and told her when her court date would be.
DWS MIS - On March 15th, 2023, deputies initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and North 12th Philomath. Megan McCarthy, 34, was arrested for ORS 811.182 criminally driving while suspended. McCarthy was criminally cited and released.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Sunday, March 19th, 2023, at about 7:38 p.m., deputies responded to NE Hwy 20 near MP 5 for a three-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash. There were no injuries, two vehicles were towed.
DWS MIS - On Sunday, March 19th, 2023, at about 7:01 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 20 near Granger Ave, and contacted Leo Asberry, 51, in the driver seat. Leo had a suspended license to the degree of a Misdemeanor in the State of Oregon. Leo was issued a citation and released.
MENACING; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; STRANGULATION - On March 19, 2023 at about 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 29100 block of Tampico Road for a reported violence incident. Donald Noel Gallup, 62, was arrested for Strangulation - DV, Menacing, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Reckless Endangering. He was transported to Benton County Jail and lodged.
DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST - On 3/19/2023 at approximately 6:30 pm, Michael Sherman Tucker (35) of Kings Valley, was arrested for driving while suspended-misdemeanor and outstanding warrants through the Benton County and Lincoln County Circuit Courts for FTA DUII.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/19/2023 at about 2:00 pm, deputies cited Baker, Michael Jay, 35, for warrants out of Albany Mun for Contempt of Court Marion County FTA-DWS/DWR Washington County.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) - On March 19, 2023 at about 12:30 PM, deputies spoke with a resident in the 34000 block of Hawk Hill Rd in Philomath. The resident stated that he has a 23-year-old disabled daughter who has been receiving unsolicited request for explicit photos.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 CRIME DAMAGE - On Saturday, March 18, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a criminal mischief call in the 800 block of Wyatt Lane, Philomath. A resident reported a package he mailed himself from out of state had been damaged beyond repair and extra contents were placed into the package.
POSS METH (LESS THAN 2 GRAMS); DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST - On March 18, 2023, at 12:51 AM, deputies stopped Michael Konkolis, 35, on Jackson Avenue near 2nd Street in Corvallis for Driving Without Lights and Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. Konkolis was arrested for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Konkolis additionally had a confirmed felony warrant for his arrest out of Linn County Circuit Court for Theft I, Bail $30,000. Konkolis was transported to the Benton County Jail. A small amount of Methamphetamine was found in his wallet. Konkolis was cited for Possession of Less than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/17/23 Hill, Edwin, 57, turned himself in at Benton Co Jail on a Lebanon Justice court warrant for PV-DWS. Hill was cited and released with a new court date.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 17th, 20223 at about 1:04 pm, deputies stopped Belinda Sheldon, 54 for speeding on 3rd Street near Rivergreen in Corvallis. Dispatch advised she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Albany Muni Court for FTA-Child Neglect. Sheldon was cited and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 17, 2023, Anna Nichole Watts, 25, turned herself in at the jail on a warrant for FTA - Child Neglect 2 x2 out of Benton County Circuit; and FTA - THEFT 2 out of Albany Muni Court. New court dates were given and she was released Pre-Trial due to overcrowding.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 17, 2023, at about 12:02 p.m., deputies stopped a black Nissan Pathfinder in the 100 Block of Hickory St NW in Albany and later issued the passenger, Christina Laurette Brandal, 29, citations for warrants from Albany Municipal Court and Washington County Circuit Court.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On March 16, 2023, at around 4:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of Orchard Tract Rd for a report of Criminal Mischief. Residents reported tha.t the previous night someone had run over their mailbox, two metal statues on their property, and a portion of a fence. Deputies found a piece of trim belonging to the front-passenger side of a 2017-2018 Mazda 3 in the yard. No current suspects.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 16, 2023 at 12:53 pm, deputies were dispatched to HWY 20 and HWY 223 for a report of a hit and run. The suspect vehicle was described as an eastbound older maroon (possibly dodge) crew cab pickup with utility boxes as a bed hauling an oversized farm tire. A male was eastbound on HWY 20 when the suspect vehicle turned in front of him off HWY 223. The two vehicles crashed into each other. The driver of the maroon crew cab failed to stop and exchange information.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 16, 2023, the property manager at the 200 NW 53rd St. trailer park reported a trespass. The female has been trespassed from the trailer park but did not on this day.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 16, 2023, deputies contacted Starr L Whitman, 42, in the 600 block of Commercial St. Monroe. Whitman was issued a citation in lieu of custody for an Albany Municipal Court warrant.
RECKLESS DRIVING - On March 13th, 2023 at around 7:12 PM, deputies responded to the Adair City Park for a report of reckless driving. The caller reported a white pickup and a smaller dark-colored pickup were doing doughnuts in the parking lot. Deputies located two juveniles who admitted to driving. There was no damage to the park and the park was empty at the time of the incident. Deputies warned them on their actions.
THEFT OF SERVICES - On Friday, March 10, 2023 at approximately 4:30 P.M., deputies called and spoke with the Operations Manager at Valley Landfill, who told deputies they had recently had a white truck come through without paying. The driver of the vehicle declined to pay the $49.35 bill and said the person behind him would pay. This person claimed not to know and did not pay. On Monday, March 13, deputies received an email from the owner of a lawn care company who owned the vehicle involved, was behind the vehicle, and was playing a joke. There was an agreement to pay the bill.
BURGLARY 2; UUV; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; THEFT 1 AGGRAVATED - On March 9, 2023 at about 8:00 am, deputies were dispatched to the 5300 block of NW Highland Dr for a cold burglary. The owner reported an unknown suspect(s) burglarized the property between 3/8/23 at 10 pm and 3/9/23 at 7:00 am. The suspect damaged property and stole a construction trailer (recovered a short distance away), tools and construction materials
THEFT 1 DECEPTION - On March 8, 2023, I spoke with a Medicaid Representative who reported a possible theft from a resident by her son. At the time of the report no specific accounts were verifiable.
WARRANT ARREST - ON 3/6/23 AT 3:59 PM, CABALLERO, CEASAR, 29, WAS CITED FOR A WARRANT OUT OF ALBANY MUNI FOR FTA RESIST ARREST. THE WARRANT WAS SERVED ON CABALLERO WHO WAS HOUSED IN THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL.

UNLAW POSS OF FIREARM; POSS METH (MISD - 2 GRAMS OR MORE); CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 16, 2023, at 9:53 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 25700 block of Cherry Creek Road in Monroe for a Criminal Trespass. Upon arrival an investigation was conducted and Karen King, 52, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II, Misdemeanor Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST - On March 16, 2023, at 12:00 AM, deputies stopped Dustin Whinnery, 36, on NW Tyler Avenue near NW 2nd Street in Corvallis for Unsignaled Turn and an Illegal U-Turn. Whinnery was cited for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Whinnery had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 15, 2023, at 11:21 PM, deputies stopped Luis Pecheco-Servin, 26, for Failure to Drive Within Lane and Expired Registration on Highway 34 near Peoria Road in Corvallis. Pecheco-Servin was Driving While Suspended Violation and Driving Uninsured. Pecheco-Servin had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Police Department for Contempt of Court/ Warrant, No bail. Pecheco-Servin was cited on the warrant and traffic violations.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/15/2023 at 9:22 pm, Thomas Frederick Williams (69) of Monroe, was cited and released for an outstanding Benton County Circuit Court warrant for unlawful possession of meth.
UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 15, 2023, at around 5:26 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of SW Brooklane Place for a report of UEMV that had just occurred. Deputies later contacted an individual fitting the description. William Moy, 21, was arrested and booked into Benton County Jail for UEMV and Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree.
BURGLARY 2 - On March 12th, 2023, at about 12:54 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 14300 block of Lobster Valley Road, Alsea. Multiple items were stolen sometime between September 2022 and March 2023. No suspects at this time.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 10, 2023, a resident reported a trespasser fishing on the Alsea River near the Fish Hatchery, but was not observed on the prohibited property during this incident.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 12, 2023, 12:28 AM, deputies stopped Joshua McCaslin, 45, on NW 6th Street near NW Van Buren in Corvallis for no bike light and riding the wrong direction. McCaslin was arrested on a confirmed felony warrant for Probation Violation/ Burglary, No Bail. McCaslin was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
WARRANT ARREST - On Friday, March 11, 2023, at approximately 12:30 AM, deputies observed a red minivan driven by Andrew Scott Morgan, 40, drive behind Adams Elementary School and park. Morgan was arrested on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for Failure to Appear, Theft 2.
HARASSMENT PHONE - On Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at approximately 5:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to contact a male regarding a threats complaint. The male has been having ongoing problems with a former tenant in the 24000 block of Cardwell HIll Drive. The male said he had the tenant evicted but she is trying to get the security deposit back. He said the tenant calls and texts him and has threatened to come back with her, "little friend." Deputies later called and spoke with the former tenant and warned her about Telephonic Harassment. Deputies told the former tenant she is not welcome on the Cardwell Hill Drive property and she is not allowed to call or text the male. The tenant said she understood. Deputies told her to go through the courts to try to get her money back.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On February 6th, 2023, at about 5:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Airport Road near Milepost 2, south of Corvallis. Deputies arrived to find a Blue Chevrolet pickup and a white Ford F450 utility truck had been involved in a crash. Driver 1 stated he had fallen asleep while driving west on Airport Road and crossed the center line, resulting in a front-end sideswiping crash. The Blue Chevy driven by driver 2 had side damage and was unable to be driven. Deputies spoke with driver 2, who confirmed the story and showed deputies the driver-side damage he had sustained to his utility truck.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/14/2023 at 9:12 pm, Mary Chadwick (32) of Corvallis, was arrested for an Albany Municipal Court contempt warrant. She was cited and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 3/12/2023 at approximately 11:12 pm, Nicholas Hochstatter, 52, of Corvallis, was cited and released on an outstanding Albany Municipal Court warrant.
POSS METH (LESS THAN 2 GRAMS); WARRANT ARREST - On March 11, 2023 at around 2:27 pm, deputies contacted Terrance Dylan Fredrickson, 53, in a black 2013 Nissan Altima in a parking lot of the 1500 block of SW 53rd St. Deputies later arrested Fredrickson on a Benton County Circuit Court Failure to Appear DUII warrant. He was processed at the jail and also issued a citation for violation PCS methamphetamine.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 11, 2023 at 9:33 am, deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle non-injury traffic crash on HWY 20 at Porter Rd. The driver was westbound on HWY 20 attempting to conduct a right-hand turn onto what she believed was HWY 180. Instead, the driver attempted to turn right onto Porter Rd at approximately 40 mph. The driver encountered loose gravel at the intersection and crashed into the northwest ditch. The driver contacted a tow company to remove her vehicle from the scene due to damages.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On Friday, March 10, 2023 at approximately 9:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 2600 block of Oak Ridge Street NW, Albany, Benton County, for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. An Albany Fire Department medic unit struck a parked car. Identification and insurance information was exchanged between the involved parties.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On March 10, 2023 at 3:07 pm, a female reported a hit and run that occurred in the gravel trailhead parking lot on HWY 99W across from the Adair market. The female had left the scene and was back at her residence in Albany. She explained at about 12:40 pm, she was walking towards the parking lot and observed a tannish silver-colored SUV leaving the parking lot at a high rate of speed. When she got to her vehicle, she noticed someone had damaged the driver`s side of her vehicle. It appeared a vehicle parked next to her had scraped down the driver`s side of her vehicle while backing out. Deputies provided her with a case number for her insurance company.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 10, 2023, Paul Douglas Navicky, 54, turned himself in on a warrant at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office. Deputies arrested Navicky and walked him over to the jail where he was booked.
Monday March 13, 2023 Lisa Ann Riley, 57, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII and Possession of Methamphetamine (over 2 grams).
Sunday March 12, 2023 Jalen Micah Dorton, 35, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
Saturday March 11, 2023 Adam Augustus Cameron, 24, of Hood River was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
Saturday March 11, 2023 Trinity Dolores Mendez, 37, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII.
Saturday March 11, 2023 Veronica Amelia Griego, 25, of Lebanon was arrested for DUII, Reckless Endangering, and Reckless Driving.
Wednesday March 8, 2023 Shannon Rae Damewood, 41, of Corvallis was arrested for DUII, Driving While Suspended- Misdemeanor, and Failure to Appear on a DUII.

HARASSMENT PHYSICAL - On March 10, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a report of a harassment at Crescent Valley High School. Deputies later issued a citation for Harassment to one of the involved juveniles.
WARRANT ARREST - TONIE ATHILL, 34, TURNED HERSELF INTO THE JAIL AT 9:25 AM ON 3.10.2023 FOR WARRANTS. ATHILL WAS RELEASED WITH NEW COURT DATES AND RELEASED.
WARRANT ARREST - ON 3/9/2023 WALKER, NEAL HOLLIS, 54, TURNED HIMSELF IN ON WARRANT FOR FTA-UNLAWFUL USE WEAPON AND FTA-MENACING. WALKER WAS GIVEN NEW COURT DATE AND TIME AND RELEASED.
THEFT 1 FROM BUILDING - On March 9, 2023, deputies spoke with a resident regarding a theft from her residence. She has been in a dispute with the owner of the rental property. The owner denied entering the property without the resident present.
ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ - On March 3rd, 2023 at around 3:45 PM, deputies responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of NE HWY 20 and Circle Blvd. Deputies determined a driver had turned into on-coming traffic on a yellow blinking "YIELD" light causing a collision. The driver was issued a traffic citation for failing to obey a traffic control device.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 6th, 2023 at approximately 9:20 pm, Trinh, Thahn Duc reported to the Benton County Jail, located at 190 NW 4th Street Corvallis, OR 97330 for a possible warrant. Deputies found a Benton County Warrant for Failure to Carry/present a License. Deputies also found Mr. Trinh had two cite warrants through Multnomah County. Multnomah confirmed their warrants and provided a new court date. Trinh signed two release agreement forms for his warrants and was released from jail.
PERSON < 21 POSSESSING/PURCHASING MARIJUANA - On Friday, March 3, 2023, at about 1:05 am, deputies stopped a gray-green Toyota Highlander on NW Starker Avenue near NW 9th Street, Corvallis, for driving 42 MPH in a 30 MPH zone and later cited the 19-year-old driver, Samuel Richard Beans-Polk, for possessing cannabis/marijuana under the age of 21 while driving. Beans-Polk was not impaired at the time of the traffic stop.
PERSON < 21 POSSESSING/PURCHASING MARIJUANA - On Thursday, March 2, 2023, at about 11:40 pm, deputies saw a beige Toyota Camry parked in Takena Landing after the park had closed. Deputies spoke with the occupants of the Camry, Ethan Oneal Baker, 19, and Elijah Alexander Abbott-Vallez, 20, who were both using cannabis products. Deputies cited Baker and Abbott-Vallez for Possession of Marijuana by a Person Under 21 Years of Age. Baker and Abbott-Vallez were then given a courtesy ride home and released.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 - On Thursday, March 2, 2023, at about 9:35 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 31900 block of Fern Road, Philomath, to investigate loud music being played in the area. The music, which was audible over half a mile from the house, was being played by a resident.  Deputies warned him for Disorderly Conduct 2. The resident turned down his music and said he would not play it that loud again.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On March 1st, 2023 at approximately 10:45 am, deputies were dispatched to the 5200 block of NW Palestine Avenue, Albany, Benton County for a possible hit and run of a car that drove through a fence at the residence.
WARRANT ARREST - On 03/01/23 Brandstetter, Todd, 69, turned himself in at the Benton Co Jail. Brandstetter had a Benton Co warrant for FTA Robbery II. Brandstetter was cited and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/27/2023 at about 3:27 pm, Pierce, Zachary Natsechin, 51, turned himself into the Benton County Jail for 17 warrants, including a statewide felony warrant for Benton County. Pierce was lodged at the jail for the warrants.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/27/23 Cook, Erma, 54, turned herself in at Benton Co Jail on a Corvallis Municipal warrant for FTA Violent conduct. Cook was cited and released on the warrant.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/23/23 at 4:18 pm, DYLAN SHIRKEY, 30, was cited and released from the jail on warrants for 1) FTA/ Sex Abuse 3 X 2, No Bail, Linn Circuit Court; 2) FTA/ Fail to report as Sex Offender & FTA Crim Cite, No Bail, Linn Circuit Court; and 3) FTA/Robbery 3, No Bail, Linn Circuit Court. SHIRKEY was given new court dates by Linn Co and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/23/23 Watts, Anna, 24, turned herself in at the Benton Co Jail on two warrants. She was cited and released with new court dates.
WARRANT ARREST - On February 22nd, 2023 @ approximately 9:00 am, DWYER, Brenden, 34, turned himself into the jail on a warrant for FTA- Failure to report as a sex offender. A new court date and time was given for DWYER to appear.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/21/2023 upon releasing GRAY, Ryan, 37, it was discovered that a warrant for FTA DUII was active out of LINN CO. The warrant was served and a new court date was given by LINN CO.
WARRANT ARREST - On 02/14/23 Gomez, Javier, 29, turned himself in at Benton Co Jail on a state parole board warrant. Gomez also had a cite and release warrant out of Linn County. The warrant was served on Gomez.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On 03/09/2023 at approximately 8:21 pm, deputies responded to a suspicious circumstance near the intersection of Bellfountain Rd and Airport Rd. The caller reported seeing two subjects in a dark-colored SUV going through mailboxes. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. No mailboxes were left open in the area.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 9, 2023 at about 10:00 am, deputies spoke with an employee of the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located on HWY 34. The employee has been having issues with two individuals who use the cemetery to "party." Deputies told to call in and report them the next time they were in the cemetery.
FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER - On Thursday, March 9, 2023, at approximately 4:56 am, deputies were dispatched to the area of NW Highland Drive and NW James Avenue for a suspicious vehicle. A passerby saw a utility trailer in the ditch. When deputies arrived they found a black utility trailer in the ditch, and up against the fence on the other side of the ditch. Debris was strewn in the roadway around the trailer, and to the north, almost to Lewisburg Avenue. Deputies provided the owner of the fence with a case number.
RUNAWAY JUVENILE - On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at about 4:35 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Dragon Drive in Monroe for a report of a runaway juvenile. Deputies located the juvenile and returned her to her residence in the 26500 block of Max Drive in Monroe.
THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE - On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at about 4:30 pm, deputies spoke with a male at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office regarding a theft from his 2001 Toyota Tundra. The male provided a list of items stolen from his vehicle totaling $6,435.00. The theft occurred sometime between March 3, 2023 and March 5, 2023. No suspect information available at this time.

ASSAULT 4 - On March 7, 2023, deputies responded to Oak Grove Elementary School for an out of control juvenile. Several staff members were injured. The juvenile was transported home by a parent.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 - On March 4, 2023 at 3:27 pm, deputies spoke with a resident who reported that a female came to their residence in the 800 block of NW Carpathian Dr and knocked on the door for 10 minutes. At about 5 pm that day deputies spoke with the female by phone and trespassed her. If she returned to the property, she could be arrested for trespassing.
HARASSMENT - On 3/6/2023, deputies spoke with a caller who reported he was receiving threatening messages from a male over a civil issue between the two of them. Deputies spoke to the harasser and he agreed to stop contacting the caller.
THEFT 3 - On March 4, 2023 at approximately 8:15PM, deputies spoke with a resident who said sometime between Thursday and Friday night (3/2-3/3) an unknown suspect(s) stole the rear plate off his vehicle. Deputies told the caller he needed to get replacement plates as the one he had left could be mistaken for the stolen plate.
WARRANT ARREST - On March 4, 2023, at about 12:50 am, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Toyota Corolla for an unreadable plate. Deputies contacted the driver who they recognized as Dena Buttram, 40. Dena had two confirmed warrants, one for Contempt of Court out of Albany Municipal Court and the second for Contempt of Court out of Linn Justice Court. Dena was cited and released.
WARRANT ARREST - On 030223 at approximately 4:45 pm, deputies stopped a vehicle being operated by Stacey Seeger, 64, for failing to obey a traffic control device. Seeger had a cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal court for Theft 3. Deputies issued Seeger a new court date.
