5/23/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  ON 5/22/19 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:35pm, SKAGGS, STEVEN LLOYD, 46, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH STREET FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR FTA WILDLIFE VIOL, BAIL $10K.  SKAGGS WAS RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
5/23/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF.  On Wednesday May 22, 2019 at about 11:40 A.M., deputies arrived to the 2300 block of West Hill Rd to take a report of a padlock cut off a resident’s gate between May 15 and May 22. Behind the gate is a large piece of property. No damage to the property had been reported. No suspect information.
5/23/19 – SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE.  On May 22, 2019 at about 2:30 AM, deputies arrived at the 4500 block of SW West Hills Rd and observed a confirmed stolen Honda Accord at that location. Corvallis Police arrived to recover the vehicle.
5/23/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at about 12:00 AM, deputies arrived at the 2600 block of NW Princess Street in Corvallis to attempt to serve a confirmed warrant for Richard Zib and arrested him at his residence.  Zib was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was processed by the jail staff.
5/23/19 – HARASSMENT; BURGLARY 1; CIRMINAL MISCHIEF 2; POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at about 3:50 AM, deputies responded to the 1900 block of SE Crystal Lake Drive and arrested STANLEY KUNEWA POMAIKAI, 47, for Burglary I, Harassment and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
5/23/19 – ACCIDENT NON-INJURY.  On 5/22/2019, a semi-truck towing a logging yarder failed to negotiate a turn on Highway 34 near MP49.  The trailer and yarder went into the ditch and will be removed at a later date.
5/20/19 – THEFT 2.  On Sunday, May 19, 2019, a resident reported a Bose Bluetooth speaker and a guitar were taken from his residence on the 200 block of NW Lewisburg Avenue. He said he believed a roommate stole the items. The roommate denied it.
5/20/19 – DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED.  On May 18, 2019 at about 6:00 am, deputies stopped NATZERYT L VIERTEL, 20, for multiple lighting violations at HWY 20 and North Albany Rd.  VIERTEL was issued a citation for DWS-MIS.
5/20/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF.  On Thursday, May 16, 2019, at about 3:20 pm, deputies were dispatched to speak with a victim regarding damage to his vehicle.  He stated his windshield was damaged by a driver of a passing vehicle who threw an object out the window at his vehicle.  No suspect information.
5/20/19 – CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10:05 AM, deputies arrested Joshua Smith, 59, and Chin Yeesiong, 39, for Criminal Trespass II on the 600 Line of OSU School of Forestry Property for being in a closed area for logging.  They were both cited and released in the field.
5/20/19 – DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED.  On May 18, 2019, at 6:00 AM, deputies stopped Zachary Knittle, 28, on Highway 99W near milepost 97 in Monroe for speeding. Knittle was Criminal Driving While Suspended for a prior DUII. Deputies arrested Knittle and took him to jail.
5/20/19 – POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.  On Thursday, May 16, 2019 at approximately 7:33 PM, deputies saw ANGELA ALICE FILIP, 22, near NW Garfield Avenue and NW Division Street in Corvallis. Detectives contacted and arrested FILIP after determining she had multiple active warrants out of Linn County. FILIP was also found to be in possession of a usable quantity of Methamphetamine. FILIP was booked at the Benton County Jail on her warrants and charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor).
5/20/19 – ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Friday, May 17, 2019, at about 8:05 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 34 near milepost 38 for a report of a log truck crash.  Deputies arrived and observed a Kenworth Log Truck crashed onto the passenger side in the ditch on the south side of the roadway.  The driver was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver stated the steering wheel locked up and he was unable to maintain control of the vehicle.
5/20/19 – ACCIDENT NON-INJURY.  On Thursday, May 16, 2019, at about 7:22 PM, deputies were dispatched to a traffic crash on Highway 99W and Bruce Road.  Vehicle 1 hit a concrete barrier protecting a propane tank.  The Driver said he was driving south and decided to stop at a Market, when he moved too far over and his passenger front wheel hit the soft gravel shoulder.  He continued saying the wheel was ripped from his hand and hit a mailbox, chain link fence, and continued until finally striking a concrete barrier after approximately 200 feet of travel.
5/20/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 12:15 PM, deputies saw a vehicle traveling southbound on 9th Street near Walnut Boulevard in Corvallis. Deputies recognized the sole passenger as DENISE KIMBERLY RIIHIMAKI, 44. Dispatch informed RIIHIMAKI had a confirmed misdemeanor warrant for her arrest. Deputies followed the vehicle until it stopped on Pinecone Way near Walnut Boulevard and arrested RIIHIMAKI on her warrant. RIIHIMAKI was issued a citation in lieu of custody for her warrant: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Theft II. $5,000 Bail.
5/20/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – VANDALISM.  On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at about 4:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to a vandalism complaint at the 4000 block of NE Highway 20, Corvallis.  The complainant said a juvenile became very mad after losing in a video game and threw his controller at the TV.  Deputies issued the minor a criminal citation for Criminal Mischief II.
5/20/19 – ACCIDENT NON-INJURY.  On 5/16/2019, at about 6:00AM, vehicle 1 was North on Bellfountain. Vehicle 2 came to a stop at the intersection of Airport and Bellfountain and didn`t see vehicle 1 traveling North and pulled out in front of him. Vehicle 1 avoided colliding with vehicle 2, but hit the bank on the North East corner of the intersection. Both exchanged information at the scene. The crash was called in by vehicle 1 about an hour after the incident.
5/20/19 – THEFT 2.  On Tuesday May 14, 2019 at about 10:40 A.M., deputies spoke with a victim by telephone. She reported sometime last night, her Stihl Farm Boss chainsaw (value $300) was stolen from her property. She said she last observed her chainsaw yesterday outside of her shop.
5/17/19 – CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2.  On Thursday, May 16, 2019 at approximately 5:14 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 2300 block of SE Crystal Lake Drive for report of a male Trespassing on multiple properties in the area. Deputies located MANUEL PINEDO, 31, in the area of Circle K and arrested him for Trespass II.  PINEDO was transported to the Benton County Jail. They later located a glass pipe with burnt residue, which tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.  An arrest warrant will be issued for the charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
5/17/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  ON 5/16/19 AT 2256 PASILLAS, DAVID, 36, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE BCCF LOBBY LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH STREET ON TWO CONFIRMED WARRANTS: 1) FTA PCS METH-BAIL 15,000.00 OUT OF BENTON COUNTY; AND 2) FTA CONTEMPT OF COURT OUT OF LANE COUNTY. PASILLAS WAS RELEASED WITH A COURT DATE AND TIME.
5/16/19 – ACCIDENT OTHER; WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday May 14, 2019 at about 7:10 A.M., deputies were dispatched to 6400 Oak Creek Dr. for an injury crash. The driver crashed her car in a ditched off Oak Creek Dr. near Bald Hill Park. April Zandofsky, 40, arrived to pick up the driver and had a confirmed Lebanon Municipal warrant for PV-Unauthorized Departure. Deputies cited and released April with a new court date.
5/16/19 – UUV.  On Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at approximately 10:30am, deputies were dispatched to the 36000 block of Kings Valley Highway for a report of a stolen vehicle. The owner reported his vehicle was stolen sometime between the last four days and now. The vehicle is a Teal, standard cab, long bed with lumber in the stake pockets supporting plywood walls. Additionally the vehicle has diamond plate running boards. The license plate is OR SMH051.
5/16/19 – ACCIDENT NON-INJURY.  On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at about 4:50 PM, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash reported on NW Oak Creek Drive near Grandview Drive.  The driver stated he swerved right to avoid hitting a group of deer near the intersection of NW Cardwell Hill Drive and NW Oak Creek Dr.  As a result, he hit a guardrail resulting in no apparent damage.  The vehicle had some paint damage and a piece of trim missing, but otherwise was drivable. The driver was issued a citation for Driving without an Operator’s License.
5/16/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday May 14th, 2019 at about 7:40 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 501 (Alsea-Deadwood Highway) near milepost #6 for a traffic violation.  Dispatch advised the driver, BENJAMIN TROY ROSS, 57, had an outstanding confirmed warrrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Failure to Comply - Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor).  He was cited and released in the field.
5/16/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – VANDALISM.  On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at about 9:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a Criminal Mischief complaint on the 400 block of Oak St in Monroe.  The resident said he was notified his north facing security lights were out at his storage facility and it appeared someone had "messed with the breaker box."  They said nothing else appeared to be damaged or broken into and they were able to lock the breaker box after turning the lights back on.
5/16/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE  ‑ UNDER $500.  On Monday, May 13, 2019 at approximately 11:30am, deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of Webster Avenue for a report of criminal mischief. The resident reported an unknown person broke the driver side window of her vehicle while it was parked outside of her residence on the night of 5/12/2019. No suspect information.
5/14/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On May 13, 2019, at 10:53 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 26000 block of Shady Oak Drive in Monroe for a Verbal Dispute. Christopher Reid, 36, had a confirmed Felony Warrant out of the Oregon State Parole Board for Probation Violation/ Burglary I, No Bail.  Reid was transported Reid to the Benton County Jail.
5/14/19 - RECKLESS DRIVING; DUII.  On Monday, May 13, 2019 at approximately 1:18 A.M., deputies stopped AARON TYLER MAY, 34, for 86MPH in a 55MPH zone near Highway 99W and MP 80.  Deputies observed indicators of impairment and arrested MAY for DUII after he consented to standardized field sobriety tests. MAY provided a breath sample of 0.15BAC and was issued criminal citations for DUII and Reckless Driving.  MAY was released to a family member.
5/14/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 9:02 p.m., deputies responded to the 6000 block of NW Independence Hwy, Albany, Benton County, Oregon to conduct follow‑up to a welfare check and made contacted with the a resident, Elya Demers, 32.  Demers had a confirmed warrant for her arrest out Albany Municipal Court for FTC‑Trespass II.  Demers was cited and released on the warrant per Albany Dispatch.
5/14/19 - LURING A MINOR.  On Sunday, May 12, 2019 at approximately 12:15pm, deputies spoke with a mother regarding messages she intercepted from her daughter’s Instagram account. She said an unknown male sent her daughter pictures of his penis. Further, he expressed interest via messages of having sexual intercourse with the daughter. His profile information identifies him possibly living in the Tacoma, Washington area. Deputies suggested she make her account private and unfollow the messenger.

5/14/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; POSSESSION OF BURGLAR'S TOOLS; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A SCHED IV CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE; POSSESSION OF WEAPONS BY CERTAIN FELONS – MISDEMEANOR.  On Friday, May 10, 2019 at 4:47 PM, deputies saw AARON BERNARD BYERS, 24, near the municipal bathrooms at 1st Street and Van Buren Avenue in Corvallis. They contacted and arrested BYERS after Dispatch informed he had multiple confirmed felony warrants for his arrest. JAY TAYLOR KING, 26, also had multiple felony warrants and was hiding in another bathroom stall. Both BYERS and KING were booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail on their warrants. BYERS was charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor). KING was charged with Unlawful Possession of Heroin (Misdemeanor), Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), Unlawful Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.

BYERS WARRANTS: 1) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Heroin / FTA I, No Bail; 2) Linn County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Heroin / FTA PCS Methamphetamine / FTA Criminal Trespass II / FTA II, No Bail.

KING WARRANTS: 1) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Theft I, No Bail; 2) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA DCS Heroin, No Bail; 3) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Identity Theft, No Bail; 4) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Identity Theft / FTA Theft I / FTA PCS Heroin, No Bail; and 5) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Heroin / FTA PCS Methamphetamine / Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon, $30,000 Bail.

5/14/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On May 9th, 2019 at around 9:05 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Evergreen Road for a trespass. The caller reported her a trespasser on her property and was last seen walking into a wooded area.  Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate him.
5/14/19 - THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Thursday, May 9, 2019 at about 3:00 PM, deputies took a Theft II report from an egg stand on Hwy 20.  An unknown person(s) stole the entire cash box.  The box is used for people to place money in when purchasing eggs on the honor system after hours.  There was no money in the box when it was taken.
5/13/19 – MENACING.  On May 11, 2019, at 11:14 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Highway 20 for a Menacing. A victim reported that Todd Thurman, 44, pointed an Airsoft Gun at him and stated he was going to kill him.
5/13/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, May 11, 2019, at about 10:15pm, deputies responded to a call for service on Highway 99 at McFarland Road. They later arrested Diana Heese Thurman, 46, for an outstanding warrant out of Linn County. Thurman was cited in lieu of custody and released.
5/13/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On May 10, 2019 at 4:14pm, Vehicle #4 was traveling eastbound on Highway 20, west of Creswell Lane, behind an unknown van. The van broke suddenly to turn North onto Creswell Lane. Vehicle #4 nearly came to a stop, as did Vehicles #2 and #3, behind Vehicle #4. Vehicle #1 was traveling westbound on Highway 20 also and crashed into the back of Vehicle #2, which caused it to crash into Vehicle #3, which caused Vehicle #3 to crash into Vehicle #4. Vehicle #1 had heavy front‑end damage, Vehicle #2 had heavy front and rear‑end damage, Vehicle #3 had heavy rear‑end damage, and Vehicle #4 had minor scratches on its bumper.
5/13/19 - UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE.  On Friday, May 10, 2019 at about 9:15 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of SW Allen Street for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle stolen was a Red, 1995, Jeep, Grand Cherokee with paint peeling on the hood. The vehicle was taken between midnight and 6 A.M. on May 10, 2019.
5/13/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  Friday, May 10, 2019 at approximately 9:22 AM, deputies arrested Joel Davies Hudson, 23, for Criminal Trespass II for going into a closed area on the 600 Line on OSU property.  Hudson was cited and released in the field.
5/13/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Thursday, May 9, 2019 at about 10:55 P.M., deputies arrested Juan Jose Barba III, 20, for DUII and Reckless Driving. Juan was found unconscious in his vehicle facing the wrong way on Highway 20. Juan provided a breath sample which showed his BAC was a .10%. Juan was cited and released to a sober friend.
5/13/19 - THEFT 1ST DEGREE.  On Thursday, May 9, 2019 at about 9:37 am, deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of SW Hanson Street for a reported stolen utility trailer. Upon arrival, they spoke with the owner who said his 2000 Morgan car trailer had been stolen. He said he last saw the trailer on Sunday, May 5, 2019 before leaving the in the late morning. He noticed the trailer was gone late afternoon Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He said he did not have a lock on the trailer but it was behind a gate near the barn. He was unable to provide any suspect information.
5/13/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 5/7/19, at 2220 hours, MOWDY, RONALD ANDREW, 25, reported to the Benton County Jail (BCJ) believing that he had a warrant for his arrest issued from the Benton County Circuit Court for the crime of Failure to Appear‑Unlawful Use of Inhalants. Additional, Mowdy had 5 other confirmed warrants from the Albany Municipal Court for: Failure to Appear‑Glue Sniffing. Mowdy was cited and released with new court dates.
5/13/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, May 4, 2019 at approximately 10:22 P.M., deputies stopped ABLE XAVIER CAMPANA, 23, for a lighting violation. ABLE had an active Oregon State Parole Board Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. Deputies arrested ABLE and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
5/13/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Friday, May 3, 2019, at approximately 3:15 P.M., vehicle 1 was southbound on Highway 99W near Milepost 80 following vehicle 2.  Vehicle 2 slowed and vehicle 1 did not, causing vehicle 1 to strike the back of vehicle 2.  The hitch on vehicle 2 damaged the front of vehicle 1.
5/10/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 05/09/2019 @ 0818 hours, David Rhinehart, 36, turned himself into the Benton County Jail on a confirmed warrant for FTA‑Theft II.  Rhinehart was given a new court date and time to appear.
5/10/19 – UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at 6:04 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle near the intersection of NW 9th St and NW Tyler St Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon.  The driver, Corey Burdick, 43, and passenger, Krystle Copes, 34, were arrested on confirmed warrants.
5/10/19 - DUII (Drugs); Reckless Driving; Reckless Endangering.  On April 25, 2019, at about 8:00 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle at 9th St. near Circle Blvd for Operating a Vehicle without Required Lighting and ultimately arrested the driver, Timothy Allen Miller, 31, for DUII (Drugs), Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering (x3). Miller was lodged at the Jail
5/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at about 3:00 P.M., deputies were with Eloy Sencion, 22, and Casey Lanphear, 31, near 5th Street and D Street.  Both subjects had confirmed warrants.  Lanphear's warrant was out of Linn County Circuit Court for a Probation Violation.  Lanphear was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.  Eloy had Benton County Circuit Court warrants and was transported to the Benton County Jail.
5/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, deputies went to the wooded area behind the Golf Club of Oregon in North Albany and located JAMES ANDREW JACKMAN, 34, who had two confirmed warrants for his arrest out of Linn County. JACKMAN was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
5/9/19 - DWS MISDEMEANOR; ATTEMPT TO ELUDE ‑ FLEE IN VEHICLE; ATTEMPT TO ELUDE ‑ FLEE ON FOOT; WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, April 30th at about 7:30 PM, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on 3rd St. near Twin Oaks Circle.  The vehicle drove into the trailer park where the driver got out and fled on foot.  Deputies apprehended the driver after a short foot pursuit. BRIDGIT ANN TORRES, 32, was arrested on five outstanding Warrants and Driving While Revoked (Misdemeanor) and Attempting to Elude.  She was lodged in the Linn County Jail on their warrants.
5/9/19 – DUII.  On Friday, April 26, 2019 at approximately 12:20 A.M., deputies stopped Michael Ryan Storms, 27, on Jefferson Avenue near 3rd Street after a traffic violation.  Deputies arrested Storms for DUII following field sobriety tests.  He was then transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he gave a breath sample of 0.11 percent B.A.C.  Deputies cited and released Storms at the Jail for DUII and Operating without Required Lighting.
5/9/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  ON THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2019 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:20 P.M., VEHICLE 1 WAS DRIVING SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 99W NEAR MILEPOST 92.  THE DRIVER THOUGHT SHE SAW AN ANIMAL RUN INTO THE ROAD, CAUSING HER TO SWERVE TO ATTEMPT TO MISS IT.  SHE DROVE OFF THE EAST SIDE OF HIGHWAY 99W, HITTING SOME TREES ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.  SHE CONTINUED DRIVING THROUGH A FIELD.
5/9/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; DWS MISDEMEANOR.  On Wednesday, May 2, 2019, around 1:10 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle on 3rd Street near Madison Avenue for traveling the wrong way on a one way.  Erik Juan Deleon, 35, was arrested for DUII after it was determined he was unsafe to operate to a vehicle.  Deleon refused all tests and a breath test.  Deleon was booked into the Benton County Jail.
5/8/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE; GIVING FALSE INFORMATION TO A POLICE OFFICER FOR A CITATION.  On Monday, May 6, 2019, at 9:54 a.m., deputies responded to the 26000 block of  Old River Rd, Monroe for a trespass complaint.  The reporting party stated a male subject came onto her property, and was acting erratic.  Deputies located the subject on Old River Rd, just south of Goracke Dr.  The subject provided deputies with a false name.  He then told them he gave deputies a false because he had a warrant.  Deputies positively identified the subject as Donald Calhoun, 58.  Calhoun was transported to Junction City Police Department, cited on the charges of False info to Police, Criminal Trespass II and Junction City PD served his Lane County warrant.
5/8/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 3RD DEGREE.  On Monday, May 6, 2019 at about 9:25 A.M., deputies spoke with a resident on the 3000 block of Garden Ave regarding a theft. Sometime overnight her egg deposit box was broken into. The chain attached to the box was cut and there was an estimated $54 dollars taken from the box. No suspect information.
5/8/19 - BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE; THEFT 1ST DEGREE; WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, May 5, 2019, at about 8:15 PM, deputies were dispatched to a report of a burglary in progress on the 3300 block of NE Minnesota Ave in Corvallis.  They arrived to search the house and shortly after entry, the suspect, JEFFERY TYLER, 53, ran out the side door.  JEFFERY TYLER was arrested and charged with Burglary I, Attempted Theft, and had a confirmed Albany Municipal warrant.  JEFFERY TYLER was booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail.
5/8/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES‑PROPERTY; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE – INCONVENIENCE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Saturday, May 4, 2019, at about 7:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to a trespass and assault on the 17000 block of Highway 34 near Alsea.  They arrived and spoke with a man who stated he had got into a fight with DILLON TUYLS, 27 when he would not leave his property.   After concluding their investigation, deputies arrested DILLON TUYLS for DUII, Reckless Endangering, Reckless Driving, Criminal Mischief III, Criminal Trespass II, Assault IV, and Hit and Run‑ Property.  DILLON TUYLS was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
5/8/19 - THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On 5/4/2019, at about 6:05 PM, deputies were dispatched to a theft on the 25000 block of Old River Road in Monroe.  They arrived at the address to speak with the owner who  said he came outside where he had items out next to the road for sale, and saw his cabinet had been stolen.  He claimed his daughter was supposed to be watching it but the items were left unattended for about 45 minutes, between 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM.  He estimated the price of the cabinet to be about $350 dollars.  He did not have any suspect information or idea who may have taken the cabinet
5/8/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On 5/4/2019, at about 4:40 PM, deputies were dispatched to a vandalism at Irish Bend Park, near Monroe.  They arrived to find the gate pad lock was cut and appeared the gate had been opened for a car to drive out on the beach.  In addition, there was also a couch frame left on the beach that needs to be removed.  No suspect information was available due to the caller initially seeing it earlier in the morning.
5/8/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Friday, May 3, 2019, at about 4:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to Main Street and 12th Street for a vehicle crash.  They arrived and observed 1 vehicle crashed on the southwest curb of the intersection.  They observed vehicle 2 stopped on Main Street.  After speaking with all parties involved, deputies determined both vehicles were occupying the left most lane of travel when vehicle 1 attempted to turn south onto 12th Street and was struck in the right rear side by vehicle 2.
5/8/19 - BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Friday, May 3, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Old Peak Road for a reported Burglary and damage to an RV trailer. The owner stated between April 30 and May 1, 2019, someone pried open a door to her RV trailer where she was storing items. She stated she did not know if anything was taken, but would get back to deputies with any missing items. She stated the value to replace the door and lock would be around $400. She had no suspect information.
5/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST; ESCAPE‑3RD DEGREE; RESISTING ARREST; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1ST DEGREE.  On May 2, 2019 at around 3:58 P.M., Detectives saw Casey Charles LANPHEAR, 31, in a parking lot on the 2000 block of NW 9th St, on a bicycle.  Deputies knew LANPHEAR to have active warrants for his arrest and attempted to contact him.  LANPHEAR evaded arrest and fled down NW Spruce St.  Deputies later found LANPHEAR in a mobile home park on NW Highland Dr and he fled again after they tried to contact him.  Deputies were finally able to catch LANPHEAR and take him into custody after a short physical altercation.  LANPHEAR was taken to the Benton County Jail and lodged for his two warrants, Resisting Arrest, Escape III, Trespass I where he was later forced out due to limited jail bed space.
5/8/19 - UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE; BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE.  On Thursday, May 2nd, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the 38000 block of Kings Valley Highway for a stolen side by side.  Deputies spoke with the owner who said sometime between Sunday, April 28th and Thursday, May 2nd, an unknown person stole his 2018 Kawasaki Mule from his barn.  He valued the Mule at $8000.
5/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  ON 5/2/19 @ APPROXIMATELY 11:30am, DEPUTIES ARRESTED MORFIN, FELIPE, 30, FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT FOR FTA PCS METH, BAIL $15K. THE WARRANT WAS SERVED ON MORFIN WHO WAS LOCATED AT 190 NW 4TH STREET IN CORVALLIS.
5/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at about 9:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Commercial St in Monroe for Suspicious Activity.  After arriving, deputies contacted SCOTT ANDREW SPRAGUE, 29, and BLAKE ANDREW CODY, 37.  SPRAGUE was arrested on outstanding Warrants and CODY was arrested for P.C.S. II (Methamphetamine).
5/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday May 1st, 2019 at about 8:30 PM, deputies stopped a car on 4th St. near Adams Ave. for a traffic violation.  Dispatch advised the passenger, CHLOE LAYNE WALKER, 21, had an outstanding Warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Contempt of Court ‑ Theft III.  WALKER was issued a citation in the field and released.
5/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, April 29, 2019 at 8:31 p.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of E Fall Creek Rd, Alsea, Lincoln County, Oregon to contact Bobby Wade Loftis, 45.  Loftis had a confirmed Oregon State Parole Board warrant for his arrest.  Deputies located Loftis at the residence.  At 9:20pm. Loftis was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged.
5/8/19 - FAIL TO CARRY/PRESENT ODL.  On Monday, April 29, 2019 at approximately 12:20pm, deputies observed a vehicle that did not have working brake lights while stopped at 10th and Applegate Street in Philomath. Deputies stopped the vehicle near 11th and Applegate Street and contacted the driver, later identified as Dennis BECKER, 32. BECKER thought that he might have a license in the back of the vehicle but he was not sure and did not want to look for it. After being able to confirm his identity, Deputies issued BECKER a criminal citation for failure to carry or present an operators license and a violation citation for operating a vehicle without required lighting.
4/30/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On April 29, 2019, at about 7:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to a fraud complaint on the 31000 block of Whitman Way in Philomath.  A woman said she was called by "SGT J. Marr", telling her she had a warrant.  She said the phone number was the same number used by the Corvallis Police Department. She said "SGT J. Marr" told her she needed to give him her name, address, date of birth, and license plate number. She also added she was instructed to get $3,000 dollars in payment vouchers and deliver them.  Autumn did not withdraw any money after the bank teller told her it was most likely a scam, which indeed it was.
4/30/19 - BCSO ‑ ANIMAL OTHER.  On 4/27/19, at about 5:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to a found dog on the 3400 block of NW Springhill Drive in Albany.  They arrived at the address on Springhill Drive and spoke with Sarah Webber about the dog.  The resident said she found the dog in the fields near her house and was able to get the dog into a kennel until they arrived.  Deputies then took the dog to Heartland Humane Society and placed the dog in their overnight kennel.
4/30/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Thursday, April 25th, 2019, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W and Camp Adair Road for a motor vehicle crash.  They arrived and saw vehicle 1 on its driver's side and a vehicle 2 with heavy front end damage.   spoke with the driver of vehicle 1 who said he was driving from Coffin Butte Road onto Camp Adair Road.  He said he thought the intersection was a four way stop and pulled out in front of the vehicle 2.  The driver of Vehicle 2 said he was driving North on Highway 99W when vehicle 1 pulled out in front of him.
4/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On April 25, 2019, at about 6:22 p.m., deputies spotted Muriel Hubbard, 52, drunkenly stumbling around the area of 5th and Main Street in Monroe, Oregon. Deputies knew from briefing she had a warrant. Muriel had a confirmed Corvallis Municipal Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on a Criminal Trespass II. She was issued a court date and time.
4/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Thursday, April 25, 2019 at about 12:25 P.M., deputies arrested Edwin Todd Hill, 53, for multiple warrants and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine at the small parking area in Takena Landing. Hill was issued citations for his warrants and new charge. Hill was released back into the park.
4/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On April 29, 2019 at about 2:45AM, deputies contacted three subjects in a vehicle inside McBee Park on South Fork Rd. The driver William Duckworth, 43, and the passengers Shelby Baker, 24, and Justin Truman, 30. Baker and Truman had Felony warrants. Truman attempted to run and was subsequently bitten by a Linn County Patrol K‑9 following a track. All of the subjects were cited for possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine.  Baker and Truman were taken to jail on their warrants.
4/30/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On April 24, 2019 at 12:15 p.m., deputies gave a warning to a dog owner living on the 26000 block of Cecil Lane in Alsea.  The warning was for her three dogs running at large.  The dogs were not licensed so a deadline was given to get that completed.
4/30/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; ENDANGER WELFARE OF MINOR‑DRUGS.  On April 23, 2019 at around 01:43 am, deputies stopped a vehicle near NW 5th Street and NW Buchanan Street in Corvallis.  They contacted a male passenger in the rear seat who refused to identify himself.  Deputies took a photograph of him and the male was later identified as Robert Keith Manuel, 35.   Deputies later located Manuel on the 1800 block of NW Division Street in Corvallis.  Manuel was arrested for felony warrants and additional charges.
4/30/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Monday, April 22, 2019 at approximately 2:50pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W and Granger Avenue for a non‑injury traffic crash. Deputies spoke with the driver of Unit 1, who was west on Granger approaching the traffic light at Highway 99W. She said she looked down for a moment when the light was still green. When she looked up she noticed the light was red and she did not have enough time to stop before crashing into the back of Unit 2, who was also west on Granger approaching the traffic light.
4/2919 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 1:05 P.M., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of NW Scenic Dr and NW Valley View Dr, Albany, Benton County, Oregon.  Timbra Miller, 18, was the driver.  She had a confirmed full extradition arrest warrant out of Missouri.  At 1:17 p.m., deputies placed Miller in custody, and transported her to the Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
4/29/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On April 26, 2019 at about 9:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on Highway 34 near Colorado Lake Dr.  Vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound on Highway 34 in the outside lane.  The driver observed a deer standing in the road and was unable to avoid a collision.  The driver complained of knee pain from the airbag deployment.
4/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, April 26, 2019 at about 8:00 P.M., deputies were driving down Heritage Hills Road when they saw like Eddie Allen Downard, 47, in the front yard of a residence on the 500 block of Heritage Hills Road. Downard had a confirmed Oregon State Parole Board warrant. Deputies recognized Downard from dealing with him at the Benton County Jail. Deputies arrested and transported Downard to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
4/29/19 – ACCIDENT INJURY.  On April 15, 2019 at 4:05pm, vehicle 1 and 2 were stopped at Highway 20 and milepost 5.  Vehicle 3 came through the corner, saw the stopped vehicles but was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision
4/29/19 – MIP MARIJUANA.  On Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 11:00 p.m., deputies contacted a vehicle at Pioneer Park located at 1300 Philomath Blvd, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon.  The vehicle was occupied times three.  Jonathan Castor, 19, was the owner of the vehicle.  The odor of marijuana was present, and Castor claimed it belonged to him.  He surrendered the marijuana, and he was cited for MIP-Marijuana.
4/26/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, April 25, 2019 at about 3:00 P.M., deputies stopped a vehicle for traveling 80 MPH on Hwy 20 at milepost 40. The passenger identified himself as Brandon Price, 30. Brandon was arrested for an extraditable warrant out of Texas. Deputies transported Brandon to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
4/26/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Thursday, April 25, 2019 at about 12:25 P.M., deputies arrested Edwin Todd Hill, 53, for multiple warrants and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine at the small parking area in Takena Landing. Hill was issued citations for his warrants and a new charge, then released back into the park.
4/25/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Tuesday, April 23rd, at about 3:45PM, an unknown woman went to Mountain View Elementary School and said she was there to pick up a child.  The after school program coordinator asked to see the woman's identification and she said she would retrieve it from her vehicle but never returned.  The child’ parents had no idea who the woman was and didn't give anyone permission to pick their child up from the after school program.
4/25/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at about 7:00AM, deputies were dispatched to NW North Albany Road near NW Gibson Hill Road for a non‑injury traffic crash.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the driver of vehicle #1 who rear-ended the driver of vehicle # 2.  Both vehicles drove from the scene with minor damage.
4/24/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING.  On 4/22/19, at about 7:35 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding. They began a DUII investigation of the driver, Kim Powell, 65, who they then arrested for DUII.  Deputies transported POWELL to the Law Enforcement Center and he blew a 0.00.  No DRE's were available for an evaluation but urine was collected.  POWELL was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangering x3.  POWELL was issued a citation and released.
4/24/19 - BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Monday April 22, 2019 at about 7:50 A.M., deputies spoke with a victim by telephone who works for a construction company.  He is working a remodel job on the 26000 block of Highway 99W. Earlier in the morning he discovered the lock on a storage building had been cut. He stated an OmniCube seam setter, valued at $3,500, and a bag full of Ryobi power tools, valued at $400, were missing. He stated the tools were stolen between Sunday evening and early Monday morning. No suspect information.
4/24/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at around 2:17 PM, Vehicle #1 was traveling southbound on Crescent Valley Drive, approaching a hard left turn at NW Jackson Creek Drive.  Vehicle #1 was traveling too fast and went off the right side of the roadway, over corrected and went off the left hand side of the roadway sideways.  Vehicle #1 hit the ditch hard on the front driver's side of the vehicle and came to rest on its wheels in a field on the north side of the roadway.
4/24/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, April 19, 2019 at 7:21 PM, deputies saw ALBERTO PAUL NUNEZ, 26, smoking in front of his residence on the 1300 block of NW Dream Place in Corvallis. They knew NUNEZ had confirmed warrants for his arrest. They contacted the residence and located NUNEZ inside. Deputies then arrested NUNEZ and transported him to the Benton County where he was booked and lodged on his warrants
4/23/19 - WARRANT ARREST; GIVING FALSE INFORMATION TO A POLICE OFFICER FOR A CITATION; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN.  On April 22, 2019 at about 3:15 AM, deputies were traveling westbound on Western Blvd. near the intersection of 15th Street when they observed Charles Shore, 31, improperly riding his bike in the opposite lane. Shore was stopped in the 1300 block of SW E Street and was subsequently arrested for two Lincoln County warrants, false info, and PCS Heroin. Shore was lodged at the Lincoln County jail because Benton County did not have room.
4/23/19 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN.  On Friday, April 19, 2019 at 7:06 p.m., deputies responded to the 1100 block of NW 9th St, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon and arrested Eugene White, 24, for Unlawful Possession of 0.116 grams of Heroin.  White was taken to Jail and cited for PCS‑Heroin.
4/22/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at approximately 11am, deputies spoke with a resident who lives on the 5100 block of NW Highway 99 in Corvallis. She said she believes an unknown person entered her residence and removed her birth certificate that she set aside to be destroyed. She told deputies this has been happening for years and someone must have a key to her residence to look through her things. She last saw her certificate on April 17, 2019. No other items were removed or misplaced during the incident. She was certain she did not already take this document to the hospital to be destroyed.  She has contacted her landlord who suggested she install security cameras.
4/22/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at approximately 8:25am, deputies were dispatched to highway 99w near milepost 72 for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a house. They located the crash at 14500 Highway 99 in Polk County. The driver was driving south towards Corvallis when he fell asleep while driving and crashed into the northwest corner of the vacant residence. The driver was treated by Polk County EMS declined transport.
4/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at approximately 1:43 A.M., deputies contacted BILLY LOPEZ MARTINEZ JR, 28, in the area of 2nd Street and Broadalbin after the license plates on the vehicle he was sitting in came back to a different vehicle. BILLY had an active Albany municipal warrant for his arrest. Deputies cited and released BILLY after confirming he owned the vehicle.
4/22/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On April 20, 2019, at about 5 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 20 near milepost 4 in Corvallis. They arrived to find a three car crash. Unit 1 was heading westbound when he rear-ended Unit 2. After rear-ending Unit 2, Unit 3 veered over to the eastbound lane and crashed head on with a Unit 3. The driver of Unit 3 was transported due to injuries and the driver of Unit 1 was issued traffic citations for Following Too Closely and Driving without and Operator's License.
4/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, April 20, 2019, at about 10:00 am, deputies arrested Cierra Annastacia Garcia, 27, at her residence for a confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court, no bail.  Deputies issued Garcia a criminal citation and court date and released her.
4/22/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On April 19th, 2019, deputies responded to the 800 block of Northeast Granger Avenue in Corvallis for a report of a possible prowler.  Deputies arrived and did not find any signs of a prowler.  They spoke with the complainant who was there as a caregiver.  She said she was told by the resident that the alarm showed the eastern door had been opened, but she found it to be secure when she checked it.  It was raining heavily at this time, and there were no wet footprints leading into that area from that door.
4/22/19 - THEFT 3RD DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Friday, April 19, 2019, around 8:30 P.M., deputies spoke with a citizen on the phone regarding a theft.  He said he has an egg stand near Highway 20 and Garden Avenue and someone cut the hinge on the money lock box stealing $30.00 and damaging the hinge, estimated around $10.00.  He said this has occurred multiple times and whoever is breaking the lock box and stealing the money is doing it between 2:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.  Friday, Saturday or Sunday.  Deputies spoke with Winn about putting a camera up to watch the stand.  There are no suspects and he is requesting extra patrol during these days and times.
4/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Apr. 19, 2019 at approximately 1335, Anderson, John Philip, 28, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail lobby and indicated that he had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Courthouse.  Valid warrants were confirmed with dispatch and served as follows:  FTA-PCS Heroin bail $15,000; and FTA ‑ Coercion.  Anderson was released on Five‑Day Rule after having signed a release agreement which was forwarded to the court.
4/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Thursday, April 18, 2019 at approximately 8:30 P.M., deputies stopped Robert Keith Lewis, 46, on Western Boulevard near 7th Street after observing him ride his bike without a front light.  Lewis had a confirmed warrant for PV‑Abscond‑PCS‑Meth.  Deputies searched Lewis and he had a glass pipe in his front left pocket.  The pipe had a white substance inside which tested positive for Methamphetamine.  Deputies cited Lewis for PCS‑ Meth and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged on his warrant.  Case cleared by arrest.
4/22/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at approximately 7:30 P.M., deputies called and spoke with a man regarding a vandalism and trespass at his property on the 2000 block of Southwest Allen Street.  The man told deputies that over the last week, someone cut a hole in his fence and bent the handles to his large gas tanks as they tried to steal gas.  He said it cost about 100.00 dollars to repair the fence and no gas was stolen.  He said he last saw the fence about one week earlier and it was undamaged.  He found the damage earlier in the day.  He then said he was going to try to get a camera put up for the future.
4/22/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On April 18, 2019 1:46 pm, deputies gave a warning to a dog owner living on the 5100 block of NW Willamette Ave in Adair.  The warning was for her dog escaping the yard several times and running at large.  The dog was not licensed so a deadline was given to get that completed.
4/22/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE  ‑ UNDER $500.  On Monday, April 15, 2019 at approximately 1pm, deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of SW 53rd Street for a report of criminal mischief. The Benton County Fairgrounds manager reported a dark colored vehicle crashed into the bicycle racks located on the north side of the Carriage building and damaged the landscape. She provided video surveillance of the incident that occurred on April 12, 2019 minutes before midnight. She estimated the value to be approximately $500.00 in damage.
4/22/19 - THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 8:27 p.m., deputies responded to the 3000 block of NE Garden Ave, Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon for a theft complaint.  The resident owns a self-serve egg stand on the property.  Sometime between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., someone cut the lock on the money collection box, and stole about $40.00 from it.  This also happened about a week prior.
4/19/19 – ACCIDENT NON-INJURY.  On Saturday, April 13, 2019 at approximately 12:45pm, deputies attempted to stop a green Acura near 3rd street and Bridgeway for not having a front license plate. The driver pulled into a parking lot of the located on the 1600 block of SE 3rd Street in Corvallis. The driver did not put the vehicle in park before he got out of the vehicle and ran east on Bridgeway. The Acura continued moving forward into Mill Race Creek with a female passenger still inside. Deputies remained with the vehicle to recover the passenger, identified as Amber TAYLOR, 45 yoa. TAYLOR had a warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Contempt. Deputies issued her a citation for the warrant. The male driver was never located or identified. The fully submerged vehicle was towed out of the creek.
4/19/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On April 19, 2019, Dezmeree Acosta, 32, was arrested on a confirmed warrant at the Benton County Jail.
4/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, April 18, 2019 at about 9:30 A.M., deputies observed a vehicle with a broken reverse light in parking lot of Takena Landing. The passenger, Stephanie Ann Bobbitt, 33, aka Stephanie Vannier, had multiple warrants for her arrest. Deputies arrested Stephanie and was released with citations.
4/18/19 - PROBATION VIOLATION.  On Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at about 8:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the Transition Center at 555 NW Monroe Avenue, for a report of Timothy Isaac Mross, 34, violating his probation by using alcohol or drugs. Mross is on Post-Prison Supervision and is a Registered Predatory Sex Offender. Deputies spoke to Mross, who had bloodshot watery eyes, an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and later admitted to drinking alcohol. Deputies then arrested Mross and transported him to the Benton County Jail. Jail staff advised there was no room at the Benton County Jail to lodge the criminal. Mross was released with reporting instructions to meet his Parole Officer the next morning. Mross was trespassed from the Transition Center until he spoke to his P.O. and was sober, leaving him transient for the evening.
4/18/19 - BCSO ‑ DISTURBANCE/ARGUE.  On April 17, 2019, at about 3:00 AM, deputies responded to a disturbance call near NW 5th Street and Van Buren, where a man was trying to fight strangers at that address. No crime had occurred.
4/18/19 - PUBLIC NUISANCE.  On April 16, 2019 10:58 a.m., deputies issued a citation to a dog owner residing on the 3400 block of NW Terrace Drive in Albany.  The citation was for their dog barking and disturbing a neighbor.
4/17/19 - DWS MISDEMEANOR.  On Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 at about 5:30 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Philomath Blvd. near 15th St. for a traffic violation.  The driver, DALE EDWARD TILSON, 43, was subsequently arrested for Driving While Suspended ‑ Misdemeanor.  TILSON was cited and released at the scene.
4/17/19 - MISSING PERSON.  On Monday, April 15th, 2019, at approximately 9:35 PM, deputies were dispatched to a missing person in the area of Tampico Road and Soap Creek Road. Deputies located the caller at Wiles Road and Tampico Road. The man said his girlfriend went missing after using the bathroom. After four hours of searching, it was determined she was not in the area. The woman was later found the next day at her home.
4/17/19 - BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Monday, April 15th, 2019 at approximately 3:30 PM, I was dispatched to the 23000 block of Maxfield Creek Road to the Community Center for a Burglary complaint. Deputies spoke with the victim who told deputies 4 rolls of wood carving tools valued at $500 were taken. Deputies saw no signs of forcible entry, there were no witnesses and no video surveillance. Deputies provided him with a case number and informed him to contact the office if he has any further suspect information.
4/17/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On April 14, 2019, at about 4:01 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of NW Beaumont Lane, Albany, for a disturbance.  Upon arrival, they spoke with a resident named TIMOTHY FLAUGHER, 19, and cited and released FLAUGHER at the residence for an outstanding Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Criminal Mischief III.
4/17/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, April 14, 2019, at approximately 7:40am, deputies were dispatched to the 34000 block of Wren Road for a report of a suspicious male in a green car parked outside the residence. Deputies arrived and located a man parked in the cul‑de‑sac. He was outside of his vehicle with all the contents spread around the outside of his vehicle on the ground. He told deputies he was headed to Newport from Lebanon when he realized a tank of diesel fuel was spilling all over his back seat. He pulled over to remove the items and attempt to clean the fuel before driving again. He agreed that he would clean everything up before leaving.
4/17/19 - ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE.  On April 14, 2019, at about 2:11 am, deputies were dispatched to a cold assault that occurred on the 6000 block of NE William R Carr in Adair.  The resident reported he was punched in the face one time by Jessica B Smith, 25.  The man had a slightly swollen cheek and a small cut next to his nose.  Smith was issued a citation for Assault IV.
4/17/19 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; POSSESSION OF WEAPONS BY CERTAIN FELONS – FELONY.  On Saturday, April 13, 2019, at approximately 11:15am, deputies stopped Dylan MENDELL, 21, near Bellfountain and mile post 13 for illegal window tinting. A consent search yielded a 9mm Springfield XD‑9, approximately 2 grams of methamphetamine, 0.23grams of a black tar substance and two oxycodone pills. Deputies cited MENDELL for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of heroin, felon in possession of a firearm and illegal window tint.
4/17/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Saturday, April 13, 2019, at about 10:24 am, deputies spoke with a resident by telephone regarding her needing assistance with driving due to high water and needing helping lifting her mother into a vehicle.  Members of the Monroe Fire Department later arrived and assisted with the transport.
4/17/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On April 12, 2019, at around midnight, deputies were dispatched to Bellfountain Road near Airport Road for an injury accident. The driver of unit 1 was driving his pickup truck to work in Corvallis.  He said a deer ran across the road and he swerved to avoid hitting hit.  He lost control of his pickup and crashed into the ditch.  The pickup came to rest upside down in the ditch
4/17/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 7:04 PM, deputies saw DAVID MICHAEL LONGO, 43, in Corvallis. Deputies knew LONGO had confirmed warrants. Deputies contacted Longo and located a small pouch containing three kinds of pills in one of his pockets when they checked him for weapons and means of escape. The pills were in small plastic baggies with what appeared to be Chinese characters on them. LONGO stated he found the pills in a dumpster while scavenging at an apartment complex on Western Boulevard. LONGO later gave consent to seize the remainder of the pills from his storage unit after deputies determined some were controlled substances. All of the pills from LONGO'S person and storage unit were later entered into evidence at the Sheriff's Office. LONGO was transported the Benton County Jail  where he was booked on his three warrants. LONGO was not charged for possessing the pills due to his cooperation.
4/17/19 - DOG BITE.  On April 10, 2019, around 11:30 a.m., a dog staying at on NW Kouns Drive in Albany bit a letter carrier. The dog was put on a ten-day quarantine.
4/17/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at about 11:40 am, deputies were dispatched to a non‑injury traffic crash on Highway 20 MP 7.  Unit 1 was eastbound on Highway 20.  Traffic was extremely heavy and was stop and go due to Highway 34 being closed for flooding.  Traffic in front of the driver slowed abruptly and she did not see this.  The driver was unable to stop before crashing into the back of Unit 2.
4/17/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at about 8:30 am, deputies were dispatched to NW Independence Highway and NW Metge Avenue for a reported motor vehicle crash. Vehicle one was headed northbound on Independence Highway. The driver said he was following his GPS. He said his GPS said he needed to make a right turn. He made an abrupt right turn onto Metge Avenue, losing control of his vehicle. His vehicle sideswiped vehicle two and went off the roadway. Vehicle two was facing eastbound, and stopped at the stop sign at Metge and Independence Highway. The driver of vehicle one was cited for careless driving and driving uninsured.
4/17/19 – MENACING; UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON; BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE.  On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, deputies arrested Lyle Eugene Kilthau, 77, after he got into an argument with a man. Lyle pulled a revolver from his coat pocket and told the man to stay away from his ex-girlfriend or he would shoot him. Lyle was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and lodged.
4/17/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, April 10th, 2019, at about 10:30 PM, GARY FORREST SCHAEFFER, 34, was located at 200 53rd Street after an anonymous caller told deputies SHAEFFER'S location.  SCHAEFFER would not answer the door and they had to use a key to unlock the door.  SCHAEFFER was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged on his PV Warrant for Assault IV.
4/17/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at approximately 7:44 P.M., Vehicle 1 was east bound when he decided to make a u‑turn.  As vehicle 1 attempted a u‑turn, the passenger side was struck by vehicle 2, causing damage to both vehicles.
4/17/19 - THEFT 3RD DEGREE.  On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at approximately 3pm, deputies were dispatched to a business in Alsea for a report of a theft. An employee reported that a male and female took hygiene items from the shelf and left the store without paying for them. Deputies located Brittany BARNETT, 33, and Gary FRICK, 45, on West Main Street who admitted to the theft. Deputies then arrested both for theft in the third degree and trespassed both of them from the business.
4/17/19 - THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at about 9:15 A.M., deputies spoke with an employee regarding a theft from the Village Market. She stated she observed an unknown person adjust the stores surveillance camera with a stick prior to stealing two bags of cans/bottles from the Village Market.
4/17/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at about 7:31 am, deputies arrived on Schultz Road and Old River Road for a report of a dump truck stuck in high water.  Members from the Corvallis Fire Department Swift Water Team later arrived and safely removed two occupants from the dump truck.
4/17/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Monday, April 9th, 2019, at about 7:45 PM, deputies were dispatched for a report of a female and two small children trapped inside of a “Flooded House.”  Deputies responded to the area on the BCSO Boat and was informed by some neighbors, the people were safe inside the residence and BCSO assistance was not needed.
4/17/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Monday, April 9th, 2019 at about 6:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to Stow Pit Road near milepost 1 for a vehicle in the high water.  The driver went around the "High Water" and "Road Closed" signs and lost control of his vehicle in the high water.  He had to swim to dry land and his pick‑up truck sank, its whereabouts are unknown at this time.  The driver was not injured.
4/17/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 6:04 PM, deputies saw SKYLA ANN WILLIAMS, 47, on Kings Boulevard in Corvallis. Deputies knew WILLIAMS had a confirmed felony warrant for her arrest. Deputies contacted Williams and she was found to be in possession of multiple used needles, a digital scale, and a plastic freezer bag with suspected Methamphetamine residue after she verbally consented to a search of her backpack. WILLIAMS was transported to the Benton County Jail where she was booked and lodged on her warrant.
4/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On April 9, 2019, at about 3:00 AM, deputies observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 20 near Hyak Park and stopped the vehicle for violation of basic rule near Highway 99W and Elliot Cir. Deputies arrested the driver, Jeffery Tyler, 53, for an outstanding Douglas County warrant for contempt.  Tyler was booked and released from the Benton County Jail.
4/9/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN.  On Monday, April 8, 2019, at about 11:55 pm, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highway 99W near Ryals. The driver, Daniel Newman, 40, was arrested for three Linn County warrants and issued a citation for Driving While Suspended Violation. The passenger, Benjamin Williams, 36, was arrested for two Linn County Warrants. He had a small amount of Heroin in his pocket and was issued a citation for Unlawful Possession of Heroin. He was also issued a citation for a Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant. Deputies transported both men to the Linn County Jail where they were lodged.
4/9/19 - FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES‑PROPERTY.  On Sunday, April 7, 2019, at about 1:08 pm, a “New white Toyota 4‑Runner” was observed traveling westbound on NE Columbia negotiating a left hand turn (south) onto NE William R Carr.  The Toyota struck a stop/street sign, causing it to fall on the ground, and then left southbound on NE William R Carr.
4/8/19 - THEFT 1ST DEGREE.  On Monday, April 1, 2019, at approximately 3:45pm, they spoke with a citizen regarding a stolen lawn mower from a residence on the 5000 block of NW Springhill Drive in Albany. Sometime between Saturday March 23, 2019 and Saturday March 30, 2019, an unknown person(s) entered an unlocked exterior shop and stole a Kubota Zero Turn riding lawn mower. The reporting person is a realtor selling the residence and is attempting to contact the homeowner for model and value information.
4/8/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Saturday, April 6th, 2019, at about 9:00 PM, deputies were informed that someone was lost on the road system near Marys Peak.  They responded to the area and located them a short time later in T13S, R8W, Sec 12 about between BLM 10 Road and the Wilderness Tie Road on Weyerhaeuser property near a new clear cut.  The women were shown the way out of the woods and back to town.
4/8/19 - BCSO ‑ TRAFFIC MOVING.  On Saturday, April 6, 2019, at about 9:45 am, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle crash on Walnut Boulevard near Elmwood Drive.  A cyclist failed to slow and yield to emergency vehicles at the scene of the crash and almost hit deputies as they moved towards the injured party.  Deputies stopped the cyclist nearby and advised her she is required to slow for emergency vehicles.
4/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On April 5, 2019, at about 10:26 pm, deputies stopped Samantha Jean Nelson, 27, and Jeffrey Ryan Harris, 25, on 4th St near Jackson.  Harris had a confirmed cite and release Sweet Home Muni Court warrant for FTA‑Theft III, $6250 bail.  Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle after a positive K9 indication.  A small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located.  Nelson was issued a citation for PCS‑Meth.
4/8/19 - FRAUDULENT USE OF A CREDIT CARD‑MISDEMEANOR.  On Thursday, April 4 2019, at about 7 P.M., deputies spoke to a citizen by phone. She stated between December 2018 and January 2019, someone used a Reliacard from US BANK, with her account information at a location on the 300 block of NW 3rd Street and on Amazon.com. She had already reported the fraud to her bank. She estimated the total financial loss was about $975 dollars. She then stated she had many things come up which is why she just reported it now.
4/8/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Thursday, April 4, 2019, at about 11:39 am, deputies were dispatched to NW Highland drive and NW Wild Rose for a motor vehicle crash. Unit two was traveling north on NW Highland drive when unit one failed to yield the right of way. Unit one pulled out in front of unit two. Unit two was unable to avoid colliding with unit one.
4/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On April 4, 2019, at about 4:30 AM, deputies observed Rebel Lee Tester, 31, ordering a pizza at a location on the 2400 block of SE 3rd Street. Tester had a Felony PV warrant and was arrested and lodged at the Benton County Jail.
4/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST/ PCS HEROIN.  On April 3, 2019, at about 9:40 PM, deputies observed Jordyn Hanna, 21, traveling eastbound on Highway 20 from Hyak park. Dispatch advised that she had a warrant for FTA heroin and they stopped the vehicle at 2nd and Lyon St. in downtown Albany. Hanna's boyfriend, who they would later learn had a felony warrant, got out of the vehicle and started to run down the middle of second street. Deputies took Hanna into custody and located residual heroin paraphernalia in the vehicle. Hanna was lodged at the Linn County Jail. The boyfriend was not located.
4/8/19 - FAIL TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER.  On Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at about 5:00 P.M., deputies arrested Stanley Kunawa Pomaikai, 36, for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Stanley had not registered as a sex offender since 2017. Deputies issued Stanley a citation and placed in into his property at the Jail.
4/8/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at about 12:41 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Territorial Highway for a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, they spoke with a woman that said she lives in the motor home on her son's property. She went outside to walk her dog and noticed the front door to her son's house was wide open. She said no one should be inside. Deputies cleared the house and it did not appear anything was disturbed. The mother secured the residence.
4/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Apr. 2, 2019, at approximately 1401, Pannell, Kichael Ken, 52, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail for an outstanding warrant for FTA ‑ False Info, bail $15,000.  Pannell was released with a new court date and time.
4/2/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, April 1, 2019, deputies arrested Lauren Sangiovanni, 24, on an confirmed warrant for out of Linn County.  Sangiovanni was issued a new court date and time to appear in Linn County.
4/2/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On April 1, 2019, at about 5:00 am, deputies stopped Mitch Matthew Cobine, 44, on Highway 20 near North Albany Rd for speeding.  Cobine had a confirmed warrant out of Douglas County Circuit Court for Fraud‑Insufficient Funds, $5000 bail.  Due to the Benton County Jail being closed, de was issued a citation with a court date.
4/2/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Saturday, March 30, 2019, at about 3:14 pm, deputies arrived at Bellfountain Park regarding a report of a needle on the ground near the bathroom.  Deputies located a syringe and needle on the ground to the south of the bathroom.  The syringe and needle was later disposed of in a sharps container.
4/2/19 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; SUPPLY CONTRABAND – DRUGS.  On Saturday, March 30, 2019, at approximately 12:25am, deputies stopped Eric BERESKIN, 36, for failing to signal his exit from a roundabout at West Hills and Grand Oaks. One of our narcotic detection K-9s recovered a plastic bag containing 2.5g TPW of a white crystal substance and a plastic container with dirty cotton filters stained with a dark brown residue. At the jail, deputies recovered a plastic bag with 1.25g TPW of a dark brown substance from BERESKIN's pants. Deputies cited him for failure to signal his exit, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and supplying contraband.
4/1/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Friday, March 29th, 2019, at about 11:10 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on NE Highway 20 near Hyak Park.  They arrived and saw a vehicle on the west bound shoulder of the Highway.  The driver of the vehicle, CHASE THERON ALLEN CLAY, 22, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for his injuries in the crash and after he was issued citations for DUII and Reckless Driving.
4/1/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Friday, March 29, 2019, at about 2:45 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near milepost 5 for a report of a vehicle crash.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the drivers of three vehicles. Vehicle 3 failed to stop and crashed into the rear of vehicle 2, causing vehicle 2 to crash into vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 was stopped to make a safe turn from Highway 20 into a business.
4/1/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Friday, March 29, 2019, at about 1:20 pm, deputies were dispatched to Ridgecrest Avenue near Springhill Drive for a report of a vehicle in a ditch.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the driver, who stated he swerved to miss a dog in the roadway.  The vehicle was stuck in the ditch along the south side of Ridgecrest Avenue.  He crashed into two mailboxes when he entered the ditch and caused significant damage to the ditch while attempting to drive out of it.
3/20/19 - IDENTITY THEFT.  On Monday, March 18, 2019, at 5:51 p.m., deputies contacted a woman in regards to a fraud complaint via telephone.  She received letters in the mail from Macy's and Verizon indicating she had opened accounts.  The suspect was not successful with Macy's, but successfully opened an account with Verizon and ordered a phone.  The suspect is unknown.  The woman was not charged any money.
3/20/19 – ACCIDENT INJURY.  On March 18, 2019, at approximately 8:00am, deputies responded to a crash at Highway 34 and milepost 54.5.  Vehicle 1 was traveling westbound on Highway 34 near Philomath when the driver felt ill and blacked out.  Vehicle 1 lost control and rolled.  Vehicle 1 crashed into a fence on the north side on Hwy 34.  The driver was taken to the hospital and treated for a minor injury.
3/20/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tues., Mar. 19, 2019, at approximately 12:16pm, Naiobi Louise Williams, 31, turned herself in at the Benton County Jail lobby and indicated she had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Courthouse for a court hearing.  Two valid Benton County Circuit Court warrants were located for FTA ‑ Dis Con II, $10,000 bail and Dis Con II $10,000 bail.  Williams was cited and released with a new court date.
3/20/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, March 18, 2019, Vladimir Pearson, 24, turned himself into the jail lobby on a confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit court for ASSLT II, UNLW USE OF WEAP, MENACING, HARASSMENT x2, DISCON II, ATT TO COMMIT A MISD, AND A FEL PV WARRANT. Pearson was cited and released with a new court date and released.
3/20/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 1ST DEGREE; OFFENSIVE LITTERING; DISORDERLY CONDUCT II.  On March 18, 2019, at 12:48 AM, deputies contacted Dianna Roberts at 5th Street and Jackson Avenue in Corvallis. Roberts placed a cardboard box on the hood of a Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle and caused damage to the paint. The damage was estimated to cost over 1,000 to repair. Roberts was contacted by Law Enforcement multiple times prior to the incident occurring due to her disorderly behavior. Roberts was arrested for Criminal Mischief 1, Offensive Littering and Disorderly Conduct II.
3/20/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES‑PROPERTY.  On March 16, 2019, at about 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to Trillium Lane near Ewelty Road for a reported Hit and Run.  Branden Michael Keys was located in a nearby running vehicle. He was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, Criminal Mischief I, Criminal Mischief II and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver. He was transported to Benton County Jail where he refused a breath sample.
3/20/19 - BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 3RD DEGREE.  On Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at approximately 8:55 A.M., deputies arrived at the Blodgett Fire Department at 35361 Blitz Lane for a reported attempted Burglary.  They spoke with a firefighter who said someone used a wrench or other tool to attempt to open the door, and damaged the doorknob on the north side of the building.  He said someone also stole the motion light to the left of the door.  He said he did not know when this occurred but it was likely over the last month because they have not been to the fire department very much in the last month.  He valued the doorknob at 100.00 dollars and the light at approximately 10.00 dollars.  There was no other damage.
