Listed below are recent incidents responded to by the Benton County Sheriff's Office. This report does not reflect all Sheriff's Office activities and is updated as time and personnel allows.

3/20/19 - IDENTITY THEFT.  On Monday, March 18, 2019, at 5:51 p.m., deputies contacted a woman in regards to a fraud complaint via telephone.  She received letters in the mail from Macy's and Verizon indicating she had opened accounts.  The suspect was not successful with Macy's, but successfully opened an account with Verizon and ordered a phone.  The suspect is unknown.  The woman was not charged any money.
3/20/19 – ACCIDENT INJURY.  On March 18, 2019, at approximately 8:00am, deputies responded to a crash at Highway 34 and milepost 54.5.  Vehicle 1 was traveling westbound on Highway 34 near Philomath when the driver felt ill and blacked out.  Vehicle 1 lost control and rolled.  Vehicle 1 crashed into a fence on the north side on Hwy 34.  The driver was taken to the hospital and treated for a minor injury.
3/20/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tues., Mar. 19, 2019, at approximately 12:16pm, Naiobi Louise Williams, 31, turned herself in at the Benton County Jail lobby and indicated she had an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Courthouse for a court hearing.  Two valid Benton County Circuit Court warrants were located for FTA ‑ Dis Con II, $10,000 bail and Dis Con II $10,000 bail.  Williams was cited and released with a new court date.
3/20/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, March 18, 2019, Vladimir Pearson, 24, turned himself into the jail lobby on a confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit court for ASSLT II, UNLW USE OF WEAP, MENACING, HARASSMENT x2, DISCON II, ATT TO COMMIT A MISD, AND A FEL PV WARRANT. Pearson was cited and released with a new court date and released.
3/20/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 1ST DEGREE; OFFENSIVE LITTERING; DISORDERLY CONDUCT II.  On March 18, 2019, at 12:48 AM, deputies contacted Dianna Roberts at 5th Street and Jackson Avenue in Corvallis. Roberts placed a cardboard box on the hood of a Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle and caused damage to the paint. The damage was estimated to cost over 1,000 to repair. Roberts was contacted by Law Enforcement multiple times prior to the incident occurring due to her disorderly behavior. Roberts was arrested for Criminal Mischief 1, Offensive Littering and Disorderly Conduct II.
3/20/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES‑PROPERTY.  On March 16, 2019, at about 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to Trillium Lane near Ewelty Road for a reported Hit and Run.  Branden Michael Keys was located in a nearby running vehicle. He was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, Criminal Mischief I, Criminal Mischief II and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver. He was transported to Benton County Jail where he refused a breath sample.
3/20/19 - BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 3RD DEGREE.  On Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at approximately 8:55 A.M., deputies arrived at the Blodgett Fire Department at 35361 Blitz Lane for a reported attempted Burglary.  They spoke with a firefighter who said someone used a wrench or other tool to attempt to open the door, and damaged the doorknob on the north side of the building.  He said someone also stole the motion light to the left of the door.  He said he did not know when this occurred but it was likely over the last month because they have not been to the fire department very much in the last month.  He valued the doorknob at 100.00 dollars and the light at approximately 10.00 dollars.  There was no other damage.
3/18/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On March 17, 2019, at 9:50pm, deputies stopped Jason Feld, 46, on 15th Street near Harrison Boulevard in Corvallis, for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.  Jason Feld had two confirmed warrants out of Benton County Circuit Court. One warrant was for Failure to Appear for Criminal Trespass I and Theft III. The other was for Failure to Appear for a Theft II charge.  Feld was arrested and transported the Benton County Jail where he was booked, cited and released with citations.
3/18/19 – STRANGULATION; ASSAULT IN THE 4TH DEGREE ‑ C FELONY.  On Sunday, March 17, 2019, deputies arrested Joshua J Harding, 41, for choking and hitting a woman at a resident on NE Willamette Avenue.  This initially occurred on Saturday, March 16, 2019, around 10:30 A.M.  Josh was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged for Strangulation and Assault in the Fourth Degree‑Felony.
3/18/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Saturday, March 16th, 2019, at about 8:45 PM, deputies were notified of several cars stuck in the snow on Marys Peak Road near milepost #5.  Dispatch indicated some of the subjects had left on foot, nobody had contact with them, and they were not dressed for the conditions.  Deputies responded with the County SAR Coordinator with ATV'S.  All subjects were located and taken home.
3/18/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, March 16, 2019, at about 10:52am, deputies arrived at the 4000 block of NW Palestine Avenue to conduct follow up.  They spoke with a male, who they later determined his actual identity as Ryan Joe Richard Holley, 43.  Ryan Holley was later arrested on four confirmed warrants out of Lebanon Municipal Court, Linn County Court, Sweet Home Municipal Court, and Lebanon Justice Court.  Ryan Holley was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
3/18/19 – DUII.  On Friday, March 15, 2019, at approximately 10:45pm, deputies stopped Dylan MENDELL, 21, on Fern Road near Grange Hall Road for altered display of his license plate. They then arrested MENDELL for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He provided a breath sample of 0.00%BAC at the Philomath Police Department. A Drug Recognition Expert responded and performed a drug influence evaluation on MENDELL. Deputies then transported him to his residence on Powder House Road in Philomath where he was released. Deputies issued him citations for driving under the influence and altered display of his license plate.
3/18/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On Friday, March 15, 2019, at approximately 4:10pm, deputies were dispatched to the 600 block in Monroe to assist with the removal of a transient female who had over stayed her welcome.
3/18/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On March 14, 2019, at about 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Highway 99W and Finley Road for a report of a single vehicle crash. Deputies located a vehicle in the ditch. The driver, Paul Dan McCaskill, 45, was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving. He provided a breath sample of .12% BAC.
3/18/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Thursday, March 14, 2019, at approximately 3:54 P.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W and Elliott Circle for report of an unknown injury crash involving a train and a motor vehicle. The driver was west on Elliott Circle, approaching Highway 99W. As she pulled forward past the first stop sign, nearing the railroad tracks, she observed a southbound Portland and Western Railroad train coming towards her. She tried to move out of the way by reversing but went forward into the path of the train instead. He vehicle was struck by the train, pushed into the ditch, and towed from the scene due to damage.
3/18/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On March 13th, 2019, at about 3:50 P.M., a small baggie containing what appeared to be Methamphetamine residue was found by staff in a holding cell at the Benton County Jail.  Deputies submitted the baggie to evidence to be destroyed.
3/18/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Mar. 14, 2019 at approximately 0700, Mr. Stephan Edelhuber, 34, reported to the Benton County Jail for a sentence.  A valid Lebanon Municipal Court warrant was discovered at booking and confirmed. Lebanon Police Dispatch provided a court date. Ebelhuber was cited and released.
3/18/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 1ST DEGREE.  On Thursday, March 14, 2019 at about 8:15 A.M., deputies spoke with a citizen by telephone. He stated earlier in the morning he discovered someone had crashed into his mailbox and fence. He said he observed fresh tire marks coming from Scenic Dr., continuing through his property and exiting back onto the road. He said his neighbor's mailbox was destroyed as well. The damage to the mailboxes is estimated at $600 and the damage to the fence is estimated at $1,000.
3/18/19 – WARRANT ARREST.  On Mar. 13, 2019, at approximately 1400, Mr. Charles Olson, 64, was remanded from court for a fugitive warrant.  A valid warrant was confirmed: Colorado State Fugitive warrant for Money Laundering.  Mr. Olson was lodged pending further order of the court.
3/18/19 - USING INVALID LICENSE.  On Monday, March 11th, 2019, at about 6:30 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 501 near milepost #4 for a traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, ANDREW DAWSON MCNEELY, 38, was arrested for Using An Invalid License.  He was cited and released in the field.
3/18/19 – DUII; DWS MISDEMEANOR; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING.  On Sunday, March 10, 2019, at approximately 8:10pm, deputies stopped Teodoro CISNEROS FLORES, 39, near Alpine Road and Bellfountain Road for a traffic violation. I arrested CISNEROS FLORES for driving while under the influence of intoxicants and transported him to the Benton County Jail. He provided a breath sample of 0.15%BAC. Deputies issued him citations for driving while suspended misdemeanor, reckless endangering, reckless driving, failure to drive within one lane, operation of a vehicle without required lighting and DUII. His son was released to his mother at the traffic stop.
3/13/19 - BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE; THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at about 5:00 P.M., deputies spoke with a woman by phone who stated sometime between Friday, March 8, 2019 and Monday, March 11, 2019, her father's wallet was taken from his residence on Cherry Creek Drive. She also located an expired Oregon Driver's license while searching the house and said she will later turn it in at Benton County Records.
3/13/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS - 2ND DEGREE.  On March 12, 2019, at 3:46 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Main Street in Monroe for a Criminal Trespass II. A man reported a woman was trespassing on the property. The man was also concerned about the health of her dogs as well. Deputies conducted an investigation and determined US Bank owns the property. According to the Benton County Civil Department, the woman was never officially evicted. Deputies contacted the woman and she was living in a shed behind the house. She admitted she wasn't supposed to be there and would try to move out in the morning. Deputies checked on the welfare of her two dogs. Both dogs were happy and in very good health.
3/13/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Monday March 11, 2019 at about 3:30 pm, deputies arrived on Highway 99W north of Robison Road for a report of someone dumping 25 garbage bags.  Deputies spoke with a woman and it was later determined that she had stopped to let her dogs out.  She was loading the garbage bags back into her vehicle when deputies arrived.  The woman spoke about a federal conspiracy regarding the call.
3/13/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Friday, March 8th, 2019, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash near the intersection of NW Kings and NW Buchanan Avenue.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the driver of vehicle 1, who said he was exiting the parking lot and attempting to cross NW Kings Boulevard onto NW Buchanan Avenue.  He said he didn't see vehicle 2, who was South on NW Kings Boulevard.  The driver of vehicle 2 said she had a green light through the intersection and attempted to stop but was unable to, crashing into vehicle 1.
3/13/19 - ABANDONED VEHICLE.  On March 11, 2019, at 4:21 PM, deputies responded to the Old Reservoir Avenue, west of 53rd Street in Corvallis for an abandoned vehicle. An unknown person left a white 2000 Fleetwood Angler Camper on a stack of pallets at the location. Deputies tagged it for tow.
3/13/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, March 11, 2019, at about 1:20 pm, deputies arrived at Hyak Park to investigate a possible parole violation and later arrested Chase Michael Evan Kuske, 27, on a confirmed felony warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court.  Kuske was lodged at the Linn County Jail.
3/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Sunday, March 10th, 2019, at about 2:30 PM, deputies stopped a car on Peterson Road near Ervin Road for a traffic violation.  Dispatch advised the passenger, ANDREW GERALD WINDOM, 44, had an outstanding Warrant out of Linn County for F.T.A.‑ P.C.S. II (Methamphetamine).  WINDOM was issued a citation to appear at the request of Linn County.  He was cited and released.
3/11/19 - DUII OF DRUGS; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Sunday, March 10, 2019, at about 3:20 a.m., deputies were in the area of 25th Street and Monroe Avenue when dispatch broadcast a call of a male unconscious in a vehicle behind a nearby building. Deputies located Eugene Xooz White, 24, passed out in his vehicle behind a store, blocking the alley. Deputies arrested White for DUII and PCS‑ Methamphetamine. They transported him to the Sheriff's Office where he provided a breath sample of .019% BAC.  White provided a voluntary urine sample. White was cited and released from the Sheriff's Office due to the Jail being closed.
3/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday March 9th, 2019 at about 9:30 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on 35th St. off Philomath Blvd.  Dispatch advised the passenger, SETH MARKUS FREDRICKSON, 21, had an outstanding Warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for F.T.A.‑ Failure to Perform the Duties of Driver.  FREDRICKSON was issued a citation at the request of Albany P.D. and cited and released on scene.
3/11/19 - PROBATION VIOLATION.  On Saturday, March 9, 2019 around 9:18 P.M., deputies arrested TIMOTHY MROSS, 34, for a probation violation at the transition center located at 555 NW Monroe Street. TIMOTHY was out past curfew by about an hour and ten minutes. At the jail TIMOTHY blew into a PBT which showed a reading of A .144 BAC. Jail Deputies located a glass meth pipe in TIMOTHY'S right front pocket.
3/11/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Saturday, March 9, 2019, around 10:45 A.M., deputies arrived on Highway 99 near Milepost 76 for a reported non‑injury traffic crash.  Deputies spoke with the driver who was north on Highway 99.  He said a group of four vehicles passed him going south and something hit his windshield.  The windshield of the vehicle had a large circular hole that almost went through the windshield causing glass to be inside the vehicle.  He did not know what hit the windshield and deputies couldn't find the cause.
3/11/19 - THEFT 1ST DEGREE; UEMV ‑ UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE. On Saturday, March 9, 2019, around 9:00 A.M., deputies spoke with a citizen on the phone who said between 6 or 7pm on Friday (3/8/19) and 7:30am (3/9/19), someone entered his unlocked vehicle on the 24000 block of Losen Road.  He said 3 handguns, 2 automatic knives, $25 in cash and multiple tools were stolen.
3/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday March 9, 2019, at about 8:39 am, deputies spoke with Michael Alvarado, 27, at Hyak Park.  Dispatch later advised a confirmed Linn County Circuit Court FTA oxycodone arrest warrant for him.  Deputies arrested Michael Alvarado, issued him a citation and released.
3/11/19 - BCSO ‑ DISTURBANCE/ARGUE.  On Friday, March 8, 2019, at about 8:40 pm, Deputies were dispatched to a fight at the Alpine Tavern, possibly involving a firearm. They arrived at about 8:56 pm.  All were intoxicated and said it was just a verbal argument in the parking lot.  There was no physical fighting, and no firearms were involved. No one had any injuries.
3/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, March 8, 2019, around 12:30 P.M., deputies arrived to 53rd Street near West Hills Road and arrested Jerry Michael Wells, 29, who had a confirmed warrant out of Benton County for Probation Violation‑Robbery III, No Bail.  Deputies transported Wells to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged.
3/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Mar. 8, 2019, at approximately 0910, John Edward Boeder, 30, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail and for a confirmed outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at a court hearing.  Two valid Linn County Circuit Court warrants were confirmed: 1) FTA ‑ PCS Meth, FTA I, no bail; and 2) FTA ‑ PCS Meth, no bail. Boeder was issued a court date and released.
3/11/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Friday, March 8th, 2019, at about 2:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to speak with a citizen regarding “KIDS” around her trailer.  Deputies responded and drove through the trailer park on the 5000 block of NW Highway prior to calling her back.  She said she just heard the “KIDS” outside.  Deputies told her they just drove through and found no one in the area.  She seemed surprised that deputies drove through the trailer park and told deputies she was only reporting what she heard.  She then thanked them for checking the trailer park and stated she would call back if she heard more noises.
3/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, March 7th, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of NE Elliott Circle for a warrant service.  Deputies arrived and spoke with SHAYLENE MARIE VANANTWERP, 31, who had a confirmed warrant for contempt of court.  VANANTWERP was issued a citation with a court date and time to appear at the Lebanon Municipal Court.
3/8/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Thursday, March 7, 2019, around 9:22 A.M., deputies arrived on South Fork Road near milepost 1 for a crash.  The driver was east on South Fork Road near milepost 1.  It was extremely icy causing him to lose control.  The vehicle went off the roadway to the south hitting head on with a tree.  The driver had a small bump on his left wrist and some swelling on his left hand.  He did not  want medical attention.  The vehicle was towed and deputies gave him a ride into Corvallis.
3/8/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Thursday, March 7, 2019, around 9:36 A.M., deputies arrived on Alpine Road near milepost 4 for a single vehicle rollover crash.  The driver was traveling east on Alpine Road.  The roadway was extremely icy and he lost control.  The vehicle went into the south side ditch rolling and landing on the passenger side.  The driver was not injured.  The vehicle was towed.
3/8/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of SW 53rd Street for a trespass.  They arrived and spoke with the complainant who said on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, he told people in a white 2007 Chevrolet S10 to leave the property, which they did.  He then said the S10 returned during the evening and he wanted them trespassed.  Deputies spoke with the driver and told them to leave the property and they were being trespassed.
3/8/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On March 4, 2019, 9:45 a.m., a dog owner living in the Knoll Terrace trailer Park was given a warning.  The warning was for their dog running at large.
3/8/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, February 24th, 2019, at about 2:30 AM, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle alarm on NW Alder Ave.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the owner of the vehicle who said his car alarm went off and he reviewed the surveillance video of his driveway where his minivan was parked.  He said he did not see anything or anyone on the video and he was unsure why the alarm went off.
3/8/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On March 7, 2019, 12:10 p.m., deputies issued a citation to a dog owner living on the 38000 block of Alexander Road in Philomath.  The citation was for his two dogs running at large and threatening a couple walking their dog on the road.
3/6/19 - BCSO ‑ DISTURBANCE/ARGUE.  On March 6th, 2019 at about 12:58 A.M., deputies were dispatched to contact a citizen by telephone regarding a harassment.  Deputies spoke with a woman who said she had issues with a man being around her trash cans.  She said tonight he told her she better have her doors locked today and tomorrow, which she felt to be threatening in nature.  Deputies advised her to call 911 if there were an emergency and that they would respond to assist her.
3/6/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Tuesday, March 5th, 2019, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash on NW Independence Highway near Camp Adair Road.  Albany medics arrived and transported PEPPER to the Good Samaritan Emergency Room. The driver said he was driving north on NW Independence Highway and didn't recall details of the crash.
3/6/19 - PUBLIC NUISANCE.  On March 4, 2019 11:15 a.m., deputies gave a dog owner living on the 27000 block of Cecil Lane in Alsea a warning.  The warning was for allowing her dog to bark excessively and disturb her neighbor.  The dog was not licensed so a deadline was given to get that completed.
3/6/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, March 4, 2019, at about 3:18 pm, deputies stopped a vehicle for fail to maintain lane on Highway 99W and Blake Drive.  They later arrested Michael Copple, 41, on a confirmed Benton County PV Assault IV warrant.  Michael Copple was transported, booked and lodged at the Benton County Jail.
3/6/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, March 1, 2019 at 5:13 PM, deputies arrested CASEY CHARLES LANPHEAR, 30, on 9th St in Corvallis for multiple confirmed warrants for his arrest. LANPHEAR was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked on his warrants and subsequently released due to overcrowding.  Warrants include: 1) Linn County Parole & Probation, Probation Violation ‑ Theft I / Theft II / Trespass II /Theft III, No Bail; 2) Marion County Circuit Court, FTA ‑ Trespass I, No Bail; and 3) Albany Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, No Bail.
3/5/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 03/04/19, Wamsley, Katie, 22, was getting released from Benton Co Jail.  Deputies ran a wants/warrant check on Wamsley and found she had a confirmed Linn Circuit warrant for FTA‑PCS.  Deputies then served the warrant on Wamsley and released her.
3/5/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, March 4, 2019 at about 9:30 am, deputies spoke with Fabian Olvera, 25, in the lobby at Benton County Parole and Probation.  Fabian Olvera was later arrested on a confirmed DUII‑Felony PV warrant, no bail, out of Umatilla Circuit Court.  Deputies escorted Fabian Olvera to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and released.
3/5/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 02/27/19, Laughlin, Linda, 59, was getting released from Benton Co Jail. Deputies ran a wants/warrant check on Laughlin and found she had a confirmed Salem Municipal warrant for FTA‑urinating or defecating in public. Laughlin was issued a new court date and released.
3/5/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at approximately 10:50 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the NW 2000 block of Chinook Drive for report of a female hearing what she thought was someone inside her residence. Deputies arrived and searched the inside of the home finding no one other than the reporting party inside.
3/4/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Saturday, March 2, 2019 at around 7:52 PM, Vehicle #1 was at the stop sign on Granger Ave, attempting to turn east onto Highway 20.  Vehicle #2 was traveling westbound on Highway 20 approaching Granger Ave.  Vehicle #1's view was partially obscured by traffic turning onto Granger from Highway 20.  Vehicle #1 turned in front of Vehicle #2.  Vehicle #1 was struck on the driver's side just behind the driver's door.  Vehicle #2 was towed due to the damage from the crash.
3/4/19 – DUII; DWS FELONY; WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, March 1, 2019, at about 10:58 pm, deputies were dispatched to the area of Mary's Peak Road and Milepost 1 for an intoxicated driver. Deputies stopped the vehicle on Highway 34 near milepost 55. Cecil Schrader, 57, was arrested for Criminal Driving While Suspended‑ Felony, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, and a Benton County Circuit Court Warrant for Criminal Driving While Suspended‑ Felony. He consented to, and failed, voluntary standardized field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample. He was lodged at the Benton County Jail.
3/4/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On March 1, 2019 at about 6:15 pm, deputies contacted Melissa Ada Korkow, 27, at the Burntwoods Store on Highway 20 near MP 32.  Korkow had a confirmed no bail Oregon State Parole Board warrant for Parole Violation, warrant.  Deputies arrested Korkow and transported her to the Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
3/4/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On March 1, 2017, Andrew Westmoreland, 27, turned himself into BCJ on for two confirmed Benton Circuit warrants.  He was issued a new court date and released.
3/4/19 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF II.  On Friday, March 01, 2019 at about 1:40 P.M., deputies spoke with a man in the front lobby of the Law Enforcement Center who stated sometime within the past week, most likely when it snowed, someone drove erratically on Highland Dell Drive. He stated the person drove over the curb and onto his grass, leaving a tire mark along the grass. He stated it was a Dodge Dakota pickup, but had further information.
3/4/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Friday, March 1, 2019 at about 11:25 A.M., Vehicle # 3 stopped on the southbound lane of Highland Drive near Crescent Valley Drive, to wait for a car to turn left into a driveway. Vehicle # 2 stopped behind Vehicle #3. Vehicle #1 looked away from the roadway for a moment. Vehicle #1 collided with the rear of Vehicle #2, pushing Vehicle #2 into the rear of Vehicle #3. There were minor injuries reported.  One person was transported by medics, another was transported by a family member. Vehicle #1 and Vehicle #2 were towed from the scene.
3/4/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Thursday, February 28, 2019, around 9:15 A.M., deputies arrived on Cardinal Drive near milepost ½ for a non‑injury traffic crash.  Vehicle #2 was parked on the edge of the roadway on the inside of a sharp right hand curve.  Vehicle #2 was stuck in the mud on the edge after it slipped in the ice the day before and became stuck.  Vehicle #1, a wilderness Corvallis Fire Department truck, was traveling north around the sharp right hand curve.  Vehicle #1 slipped in the ice sliding into Vehicle #2.  The side of Vehicle #1 and a hose port on the passenger side caused a dent and scraping on Vehicle #2.  No one was injured and no vehicle was towed due to damage.  The monetary value for the damage to Vehicle #2 is unknown.
3/4/19 - THEFT 3RD DEGREE.  On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at about 10:02 am, deputies went into the Adair Market. A woman was in the store and told them she had a car battery stolen from her house within the last few days. She valued the car battery to be $80.00. She said she found a black glove near where the battery was located and believed it to be the suspect’s glove, but did not have any proof.
2/28/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at approximately 7:30 A.M., Vehicle 1 driven by Raul Moran was southbound on Highway 99W near Milepost 80 when he hit an icy spot on the road.  Vehicle 1 lost control and rolled over, landing on the driver side.  There were no injuries.
2/28/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On February 26, 2019 11:20 a.m., deputies gave a dog owner living on the 25000 block of Webster Ave in Monroe a warning. The warning was for his dog running at large on Alpine Rd.  The dog was not licensed so a deadline was given to get that completed.
2/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST; INTERFERING WITH PEACE OFFICER; RESISTING ARREST.  On February 26, 2019, at 8:24 PM, deputies observed Carrie Whitten, 37, in a vehicle on the 4900 block of SW Roseberry Street in Corvallis. Deputies observed Whitten exit the vehicle in a clear and obvious attempt to avoid contact with deputies. Whitten refused to identify herself and walked away from deputies. Deputies confirmed Whitten was trespassing to avoid contact with them and told her she was under arrest. Whitten resisted arrest when deputies attempted to place her into handcuffs. Whitten was taken into custody and she lied about her name. Whitten had a confirmed Felony Caution Warrant out of the Oregon State Parole Board for a Weapons Offense, No Bail. Whitten was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged on the warrant. Whitten was cited for Interfering with a Peace Officer and Resisting Arrest.
2/28/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On February 26, 2019, unit 1 was eastbound on Granger Ave near Pettibone Dr. Unit 2 was westbound. Unit 1 lost control in the snow and struck unit 2, causing his vehicle to go into the ditch.
2/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 26, 2019, VIZCARRA, Christian V, turned herself in at the jail lobby for a confirmed warrant for FTA Harassment, with a bail of 7500‑00. VIZCARRA was issued a new court date and time and released.
2/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at about 9:55 am, deputies I spoke with Brenton Garman in the lobby at Benton County Parole and Probation.  Brenton Garman was later arrested, cited, and released on a confirmed Albany Municipal FTA Disorderly Conduct II, bail $3160.00.
2/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 25, 2019, Lance Palmer, 53, was transported back from NORCOR to Benton County. Before releasing inmates from jail deputies checked him for warrants and discovered he a vaild warrant out of Benton County for UUV and Theft I, Bail $30K. Deputies issued Palmer a new court date and time and then released him from jail.
2/28/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On February 25, 2019 at around 4:29 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W and MP #92 for a reported single vehicle crash.  The driver was traveling south when he lost control of his vehicle. He spun 180 degrees and slid off the road. There was no visible damage and only needed to be pulled out of the ditch.  Due to the increasing amount of snow accumulation, deputies told the driver we were not going to tow it out and he needed to coordinate a tow later in the day.  No injuries were reported and deputies gave him a ride to OSU campus.
2/28/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On February 25, 2019 at around 5:00 A.M., while deputies were at a separate incident at Highway 99W and MP #92, another vehicle slid off the road into the southbound ditch.  The driver was traveling south when he lost control of his vehicle.  There was minor damage to the vehicle, estimated under $2500, and only needed to be pulled out of the ditch.  Due to the increasing amount of snow accumulation, deputies told the driver we were not going to tow it out and he needed to coordinate a tow later in the day.  No injuries were reported and a family member gave him a ride home.
2/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST; RESISTING ARREST; ASSAULTING A PUBLIC SAFTY OFFICER; INTERFERING WITH PEACE OFFICER; ESCAPE‑3RD DEGREE.  On Thursday, February 21, 2019 at approximately 2:45 PM, deputies saw ALLEN LEE NOLAN, 22, at the 1000 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. Deputies were aware NOLAN had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest for Online Sexual Corruption of a Child I / Luring a Minor / Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree, No Bail / No Matrix. They contacted NOLAN inside a business and identified themselves as Detectives. NOLAN tried to flee as deputies attempted to arrest him and then fought with them. NOLAN was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged on his warrant. NOLAN was also charged with Resisting Arrest, Escape III (Attempted), Interfering with a Peace Officer, and Assaulting a Public Safety Officer.
2/28/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 20, 2019 at approximately 2:00AM, deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis, OR for a trespass complaint. They spoke with a transient male later identified as Kenneth DEHUT, 63. DEHUT said another unknown male had let him into the laundry room to “dry off”. DEHUT admitted he did not live in the building and did not know anyone who did live in the building.  Dispatch informed DEHUT had an outstanding confirmed warrant from Linn County Circuit for PV‑PCS Meth, Bail $0.00. Deputies transported DEHUT to Linn County Jail. They also gathered DEHUT's bike and duffle bag and entered them into evidence at the Corvallis Police Department's Evidence division for safekeeping.
2/26/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Monday, February 25, 2019 at about 6:42 am, deputies arrived on Independence Highway north of Ryals Avenue for a reported single vehicle rollover crash.  It was later determined that an unrelated crash occurred prior to this.  The driver stated he was driving his vehicle around 15 mile per hour, southbound on Independence Highway at about 6:00 am.  He lost control of his vehicle due to snow and drove off the west side of Independence Highway.  The vehicle was later towed.
2/26/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Monday, February 25, 2019 at about 6:42 am, deputies arrived on Independence Highway north of Ryals Avenue for a reported single vehicle rollover crash.  It was later determined that the driver was traveling at about 25 miles per hour southbound on Independence Highway when he lost control of his vehicle due to snow.  The vehicle came to a stop off the west side of Independence Highway after striking a telephone pole.  No injuries were reported.
2/26/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Monday, February 25, 2019 at about 6:42 am, deputies arrived on Independence Highway north of Ryals Avenue for a reported single vehicle rollover crash.  It was later determined that an unrelated crash occurred prior to this.  The driver stated at about 6:15 am, he was driving his vehicle south on Independence highway and lost control due to snow.  The vehicle came to a stop in the ditch on the east side of Independence Highway.  The vehicle was later towed out of the ditch.

2/26/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On February 24, 2019 at around 3:12 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99 near milepost 98 for a reported single vehicle crash.  Unit 1 was traveling north on Highway 99 at around 55mph when the vehicle started to hydroplane.  The driver accidently hit the gas pedal versus the brake, causing her to spin one full rotation and slide into the ditch on the west side of the highway.  No injuries were reported.
2/26/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 23, 2019 at around 2:44 A.M., deputies encountered Reid A ISCHINGER, 48, at 503 SW 3rd Street in Corvallis.  ISCHINGER had three confirmed warrants: 1) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Meth, Bail $1500; 2) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Meth, Bail $1500; and 3) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA PCS Meth, Bail $1500. Ischinger was arrested, cited and released, due to a lack of jail beds.
2/25/19 - BCSO ‑ TRAFFIC /HAZARD.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at approximately 6:57 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of NE Granger Ave and Highway 20 for report of a vehicle parked partially in the roadway. They arrived and found an unoccupied vehicle parked, blocking the westbound travel lane. Deputies requested a tow company respond to remove the vehicle, which they did.
2/25/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at about 3:30 P.M., deputies spoke to a man by phone who stated earlier that day he was about to publish a book about the federal government to Barnes and Noble. He said when he pushed the 'Submit' button, someone hacked into his computer and deleted the file. He wanted BCSO’s assistance investigating the hacker. He then stated he would utilize the Best Buy Geek Squad to uncover the culprit.
2/25/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019, around 1:35 P.M., deputies arrived on the 20000 block of Highway 99 for a lady yelling at a male.  A driver was hauling hay and stopped on the side of Greenberry Road to check his straps.  A woman pulled into the parking lot nearby and began yelling that he stole the farm truck.  She said the farm truck belonged to the military and was stolen.  She said she was going to urgent care to be treated for Pneumonia.  She was moved along and told to not yell at people again.
2/25/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at about 1:00 P.M., deputies spoke with a man by phone who stated between Saturday February 23, and that day, someone knocked over a row of mailboxes and a pioneer telephone box. The mailboxes were located at the corner of Noon Road and Highway 20. The man estimated a repair cost of about $150. He had no suspect information. Pioneer telephone was notified to check their phone box in the area.
2/25/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at about 9:45 A.M., deputies spoke with a woman who stated the previous night at around 8:30 P.M. an older sounding car drove up the driveway on Joseph Lane. The car turned around, drove into a gate, then left the area. She did not have a vehicle or suspect description and wanted the incident documented. The gate is valued at $500 to replace.
2/25/19 - THEFT 2ND DEGREE; SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at about 9:10 A.M., deputies spoke with a woman who stated sometime between February 20 and February 23, 2019, someone stole a solar panel, 2 batteries, and put a chain around her trailer axel. The solar panel was valued at around $180, and the batteries were valued around $120 each.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 23, 2019, Patrick LAVERY, 36, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail for a confirmed warrant for FTA Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver with a 10,000‑00 bail.  Laverty was issued a new court date and released.
2/25/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Saturday, February 23, 2019 at approximately 4:21 P.M., deputies contacted a victim at the Corvallis Police Department records office. A woman said she had been contacted by a male in New York who sent her a $2,500 check to dog sit, which was not in Oregon yet. She deposited the check and was told by her bank the check was fraudulent.  She had not sent any other funds to the male so no loss of money occurred.
2/25/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Friday, February 22, 2019, at about 2:50 pm, deputies were dispatched to call a woman regarding a suspicious phone call.  She explained she received a phone call from a person identifying as Lieutenant Randall stating Hubert had a warrant for her arrest.  She said she recognized it was a scam when the Randall told her to go purchase phone cards to clear her warrant.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 23, 2019, Luke Jans, 34, was being sentenced on local Benton County matter. A records check confirmed Jans had APD warrants.  He was cited and released with a new court date and time.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 22, 2019, Nicholas McCallum, 38, TURNED HIMSELF IN AT JAIL LOBBY FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT FTA‑MENACING. MCCALLUM WAS CITED AND RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Feb. 22, 2019 at approximately 10:43am, deputies were releasing an inmate and discovered an active Albany Municipal Court confirmed warrant for Caspino, Garrett, 26, for FTA ‑ Larceny, Bail $1,550.  A court date was issued and Caspino was released.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Friday, February 22, 2019 at about 8:20 am, deputies went to the 20000 block of Honey Grove Road to locate Jonathan Fox, 29. Fox had a confirmed felony warrant out of Benton County for Felony Assault IV, No Bail.  Fox was transported to Benton County Jail.
2/25/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On 2/22/2019, a male crashed his father’s vehicle on Highway 20 near Milepost 8.  He said a white truck came into his lane causing him to turn to the right and crash.
2/25/19 - UEMV ‑ UNLAWFUL ENTRY INTO MOTOR VEHICLE; THEFT 2ND DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Thursday, February 21, 2019, around 2:00 P.M., a victim reported stolen items out of their vehicles on Kings Valley Highway after they were arrested.  They are now reporting several items taken from the vehicles.
2/25/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On February 20th, 2019 at about 5:20 PM, deputies were dispatched to a crash on Highway 20 in the curve near HP at about mile post 1.5.  Unit 1 was eastbound during a heavy hail storm.  The vehicle lost traction, crossed the westbound lane and slid backward into the fence surrounding the northwest natural gas hub.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 2/20/19, at 4:00pm, Epica Joann Preuitt, 46, turned herself in to the Benton County Jail for a confirmed for PCS Meth. Preuitt was issued a new court date and time and released.
2/25/19 - WARRANT ARREST; INTERFERING WITH PEACE OFFICER; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN; THEFT 1ST DEGREE.  On February 16th, 2019, deputies arrested LAUREN NICOLE SANGIOVANNI, 24, on two felony warrants, Interfering with a peace officer, Theft I, and Unlawful possession of Heroin after they chased her both on a stolen bicycle and on foot in the area of Roseberry Street near 49th Street.
2/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 21, 2019, Eric Nelson, 19, turned himself into the Benton County Jail for FTA‑DUII and FTA‑DWS. Nelson was issued a new court date and time and released.
2/22/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at about 7:28 am, deputies were dispatched to NE Highway 20 and NW Independence Highway for a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, both parties were complaining of injury and were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance. Deputies spoke with the driver of vehicle two, who said vehicle two was traveling west on Hwy 20 when vehicle one pulled out from Independence Hwy. Vehicle two was unable to avoid colliding with vehicle one. Vehicle one was stopped on Independence Hwy at the stop sign. The driver of vehicle one said she thought she had enough room to pull out from Independence Hwy onto Highway 20. Vehicle one collided with vehicle two.
2/22/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at about 12:23 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near Lilly Hill Road for motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the driver of vehicle 1, who was driving eastbound on Highway 20. While negotiating a curve, vehicle 1 lost control, sideswiping vehicle number 2 in the westbound lane of travel. The driver of vehicle 2 said he was traveling west on Highway 20 when he observed vehicle number one coming into his lane of travel and was unable to avoid being struck by vehicle 1.
2/22/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC; BCSO ‑ DOG BITE.  On February 19, 2019, at 11:13 PM, deputies were dispatched to Mary's Peak Road near Milepost 3 for a group of stranded people stuck in the snow. Five people were rescued from the mountain. During the rescue, a man who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, opened the dog door on a deputy’s patrol vehicle. He was bit on the upper left arm by K9 Brutus. The man was transported to the hospital and treated for a minor injury.
2/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Saturday, February 16, 2019 at about 12:14 pm, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Alsea Deadwood Highway near milepost 1. The driver, Angela Rooks had a confirmed warrant out of Yamhill County for FTA‑ PCS‑Meth, $10,000 Bail. Rooks was issued a citation for her warrant and a citation for driving while suspended.
2/22/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Friday, February 15, 2019 at 6:12 PM, deputies saw DAVID MICHAEL LONGO, 43, accessing a storage unit on the east side of the 1400 Block of Highland Drive in Corvallis. LONGO had multiple confirmed warrants. Deputies contacted and arrested LONGO who was transported to the Benton County Jail. There LONGO was found to be in possession of a small baggie of Methamphetamine. LONGO was booked on his warrants and charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine before being subsequently released due to overcrowding.
2/22/19 - THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On February 15, 2019 at about 6:00 pm, deputies met with a bus driver who reported a female student stole $700, a debit card, and her social security card from her backpack while she was driving students. The student was identified and deputies were able to recover most of the stolen property.  The 16-year-old was cited into Benton County Juvenile Court for Theft II.
2/22/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Friday, February 15, 2019 at about 1:09 pm, deputies came upon a crash in the intersection of NE Arnold and NE William R Carr, in Adair Village. Vehicle one stopped at the stop sign, then proceeded into the intersection. The driver said he did not see vehicle two traveling eastbound onto Arnold from Highway 99W. Vehicle one was unable to avoid colliding with vehicle two. Vehicle two turned east onto Arnold from Highway 99W and was struck near the driver door by vehicle one.
2/20/19 - ASSISTANCE RENDERED PUBLIC.  On February 19, 2019 at 7:39 PM, deputies stopped to assist a disabled motorist parked on Monroe Cemetery Road near Highway 99W in Monroe. The driver hit a deer and told deputies her father was on his way. The father and daughter salvaged the deer.
2/20/19 - THEFT 1ST DEGREE.  On Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at about 11:20 A.M., deputies spoke to a victim by phone about a stolen bike. She stated her husband’s Trek Excalibur 7 mountain bike, worth $1019, was stolen from their residence on the 200 block of NW 53rd Street, sometime between midnight and 11 A.M. She had no suspect information and did not have a serial number for the bike.
2/20/19 - BCSO ‑ DISTURBANCE/MUSIC/NOISE.  On Monday, February 18, 2019 at around 5:00 PM, deputies went to the front of the jail to contact a disorderly female that was yelling in the courthouse.  Deputies have had multiple contacts with her in the past and knew her by sight.  They explained the complaint to her and said she would leave the area.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 18, 2019, at 11:05 PM, deputies contacted Greg Brunty, 49, on 9th Street in Corvallis. Brunty had a confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for Theft III, Bail $3,500. Brunty was given a new court date from the Benton County Jail and released at the scene.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Monday, February 18, 2019 at about 1:50 P.M., deputies arrested Gregory John Mather, 30, on 1st Street near Van Buren Avenue for multiple warrants and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 18, 2019, jail deputies located a confirmed warrant out of Linn County Circuit Court of FTA PCS Meth with no bail for BISHOP, Jeffrey W, 40. Linn County issued a new court date.
2/19/19 - PURCHASE OR POSSESSION OF LIQUOR BY MINOR.  On Sunday, February 17, 2019, at approximately 5:25 P.M., deputies stopped Braedon Robert Moore Price, 19, on Priest Road near Kings Valley Highway after a traffic violation.  Braedon admitted to drinking a beer and using marijuana.  Braedon was cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Violation of the Basic Rule for 88 in a 55.
2/19/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Sunday, February 17, 2019, at about 3:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to Airport Road near Cutler Lane for a report of a single vehicle crash.  They arrived and observed a vehicle crashed head‑on into a tree.  The driver stated she swerved to miss an animal in the road and crashed into the tree.  She declined medical transportation.
2/19/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Sunday, February 17, 2019 at approximately 2:20 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Starr Creek Road for a reported burglary.  They arrived and spoke with the resident who told them the chain that was used to lock the gate and been cut.  Someone then entered the property and stole his Countyline, 25 ton Wood splitter from under a tarp at the front of the property.  The wood splitter is worth approximately 1400.00 dollars.  He said this likely occurred between February 11 and February 17, 2019.
2/19/19 - USING INVALID LICENSE; CARRYING OF CONCEALED WEAPONS.  On Saturday, February 16, 2019 at about 11:45 PM, deputies were driving east on Plymouth Drive when they saw a small car driving west on Plymouth Drive.  The small car had a white light shining to the rear of the car.  They turned around and located the driver walking away from the car. When they spoke with him he gave deputies his suspended Oregon driver's license.  After placing the driver, identified as JOSHUA ALLEN GILMORE into handcuffs, they located metal knuckles in his pocket.  GILMORE was released with citations.
2/19/19 – WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Saturday, February 16, 2019, around 12:30 P.M., deputies arrested Aaron Fredric Hansen, 44, on Alsea Deadwood Highway near milepost 1.  Aaron was arrested on a Columbia County Circuit Court warrant and Unlawful Possession of meth.  Aaron was issued criminal citations for both and released.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  ON 2/15/19 AT APPROXIMATELY 1050 AM, SPOER, VICTOR, 36, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE JAIL LOBBY FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT OUT OF BENTON COUNTY FOR FTA PCS HEROIN.  SOPER WAS CITED AND RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  ON 2/15/19 AT APPROXIMATELY 0940 AM, BROOKS, MARCUS, 30, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE JAIL LOBBY FOR A CONFIRMED WARRANT OUT OF BENTON COUNTY FOR FTA PCS DUII.  BROOKS WAS CITED AND RELEASED WITH A NEW COURT DATE.
2/19/19 - BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST; THEFT OF SERVICES ‑ UNDER $100; THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On February 14, 2019 at about 7:35 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of NW Mountain View Drive for a report of a Burglary in Progress.  Dispatch said the owners had located a male inside the house.  Deputies arrived and contacted MICHAEL ALVARADO, 27, who was sitting on the floor in the house.  ALVARADO said he had come into the house because he was cold and his car wouldn't start.  ALVARADO also had a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Thursday, February 14, 2019 at approximately 5:07 PM, deputies saw ERIN WINONA MCCLUNG, 27, at the 1000 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. MCCLUNG had multiple confirmed warrants for: 1) Marion County Circuit Court, FTA Theft III, $260,000 Bail; 2) Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Trespass I & II, $25,000 Bail; and 3) Albany Municipal Court, FTA Larceny, $6,730 Bail.  MCCLUNG consented to a search of her purse where deputies located a pipe containing presumptive Methamphetamine residue. MCCLUNG was issued citations in lieu of custody for her warrants and the charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor) due to her cooperation.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 14, 2019 at about 4:15 PM, deputies saw MICKI RAE ENGLENT, 35, walking eastbound on Washington Avenue, near 2nd Street.  They contacted ENGLENT and arrested her on confirmed Benton County Circuit Court Warrants for Interfering with a Peace Officer X2 and FTA ‑ Theft in the 3rd Degree. Deputies transported ENGLENT to the Benton County Jail.
2/19/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Thursday, February 14, 2019 at about 8:04 am, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on NW Highway 20 at milepost 7. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the driver of unit 1, who was sitting in the driver seat of her vehicle on the westbound shoulder of Highway 20. Unit 1 was facing west bound with front end damage. The driver said the vehicle in front of her stopped quickly and she was not able to stop in time and struck the rear of unit 2, in front of her. Deputies spoke with the driver of unit 2, who said he was traveling westbound in heavy traffic. Traffic came to a stop rapidly, so he had to stop quickly and his vehicle was struck from behind.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at approximately 1:29 PM, deputies saw ANGELICA ELAINE HART, 25, at the 1000 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis. HART had multiple confirmed warrants. She was also in possession of a pipe containing presumptive Methamphetamine residue. HART was booked at the Benton County Jail on her warrants and charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor) before being subsequently released due to overcrowding. Warrants included: Benton County Circuit Court, PCS Methamphetamine (Felony), $15,000 Bail and Benton County Circuit Court, PCS Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor), $10,000 Bail.
2/19/19 - MENACING – DOMESTIC; UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON; POSSESSION OF WEAPONS BY CERTAIN FELONS – FELONY.  On Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at around 7:50 PM, a woman called 9‑1‑1 to report Richard Richeson, 56, had got into an argument with with a man at the 20000 block of Lakeside Drive, Corvallis, Benton County.  The man ran from the residence after he saw Richard Richeson pulling a revolver from his waist area, afraid of being shot by Richard Richeson.    Richard Richeson ran from the trailer, hid, and was not located that evening.  Richard Richeson is a convicted Felon who is not allowed to possess firearms.  The firearm was seized as evidence. Richeson turned himself in on February 14 and was released from the Benton County Jail on February 15.
2/19/19 - WARRANT ARREST; USING INVALID LICENSE.  On Monday February 11, 2019 at about 12:18 pm, deputies spoke with Geoffrey Halstead, 29, in the parking lot area near the gate at Irish Bend Park.  They later arrested Geoffrey Halstead for using an invalid license.  Geoffrey Halstead was also arrested on a confirmed Lane County Circuit Court/Junction City warrant for Menacing.  Geoffrey Halstead was issued a citation for using an invalid license.  He was then transported to Monroe and met a Junction City Police Officer who then transported him to Jail.
2/19/19 - CRIMINAL TRESPASS ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Sunday, February 10, 2019 at approximately 9pm, deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of Venell Lane in Corvallis for a possible burglary in progress. Deputies responded and located Megan PAULEY, 24, and John GILLIAM, 55, in a vehicle parked on the southeast corner of a large mechanic shop. Both were arrested for criminal trespass second degree. PAULEY was processed at the jail. GILLIAM was cited and released outside the jail due to jail being temporarily closed.
2/19/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING.  On Sunday, February 10, 2019, at about 2:20am, deputies stopped a vehicle on NW Kings BLVD near NW Buchanan AVE for failure to drive within lane. They later arrested the driver, Cody Lee Gillespie, 25, for DUII after they determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Gillespie's blood alcohol content was 0.17%. Gillespie was taken to the Benton County Jail.
2/19/19 – DUII.  On Friday, February 8, 2019 at approximately 6:10pm, deputies stopped Teodoro CISNEROS FLORES, 39, near Alpine Cut Off Road and Orchard Tract Road for a traffic violation. They arrested CISNEROS FLORES for driving while under the influence of intoxicants and transported him to the Law Enforcement Center. He provided a breath sample of 0.10%BAC. Deputies issued him citations for driving while suspended, failure to drive within one lane and DUII. Cisneros Flores was released to a family member at 5th and Jackson Street.
2/14/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 13, 2019 at about 8:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to perform a welfare check on a male walking along Reservoir near West Hills.  They contacted Evan Jay Seits, 34, who had three confirmed warrants for his arrest: 1)Benton County Circuit Court warrant for Harassment, Dis Con II, Criminal Mischief III, and Attempt to Commit Class A Misdemeanor, no bail; 2) Benton County Circuit Court warrant for Criminal Mischief III, Trespass II, Attempt to Commit Class B Misdemeanor, no bail; 3)Philomath Muni Court warrant for FTC‑DUII, $5000 bail.  Seits was issued citations, as the jail was full.
2/14/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at approximately 2:35 P.M., deputies were dispatched to 53rd Street near Willow Avenue and arrested Jerry Michael Wells, 29, for a Parole and Probation Abscond warrant.  Deputies transported him to the jail where he was booked and lodged.
2/14/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 12th 2019 at approximately 4:45, Joseph Rufugio Gomez Jr, 36, turned himself into the lobby at the Benton County Jail for a confirmed warrant for Criminal Trespass 2, bail $7500.  Gomez was issued a new court date and time.
2/14/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at approximately 3:54 P.M., vehicle 1 was driving west on Dawson Road near McFarland Road.  Vehicle 2 was driving east on Dawson Road near McFarland road.  Vehicle 1 attempted to turn left, south onto McFarland Road before vehicle 2 passed, and was struck head‑on by vehicle 2.
2/14/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On February 12, 2019 1:46 p.m., deputies transported two stray dogs from the 100 block of NE Azalea Drive in Corvallis to the Heartland Humane Society where they were impounded.  One dog was an adult male neutered black lab the second, an adult male neutered white husky.  Shelter staff was looking into the I.D tag information to contact the owners.
2/14/19 - PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE.  On February 12, 2019 12:26 p.m., deputies met a US Postal Service worker at the corner of Mountain View Dr./Mount Laurel for a dog in custody.  Deputies transported the intact adult male black lab to the Heartland Humane Society where he was impounded.  His owner picked him up a few hours later.
2/14/19 - IDENTITY THEFT.  On Tuesday February 12, 2019 at about 12:30 P.M., deputies spoke with a woman in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Building. She received a collection notice from Verizon Wireless stating she owed $243.04. She stated she did not open the account in her maiden name and did not authorize anyone to open an account in her name. She stated Verizon has cancelled the account and relieved her of the charges.
2/13/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 12, 2019, CHRISTENSEN, Miranda, 23, turned herself in for a confirmed Misdemeanor FTA warrant for Harassment with a $10,000 bail.  CHRISTENSEN was cited and released with a new court date.
2/13/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Monday, February 12, 2019 at about 12:30 P.M., deputies arrived at the gate to Irish Bend Park and arrested Eva Holt, 40, for a confirmed Benton County Circuit warrant for FTA PCS Meth, No Bail. Holt was issued a citation with a court date provided.

2/13/19 - SUSPICIOUS PERSON.  On February 11, 2019, deputies arrived at the 30000 block of Highway 99W Corvallis, Oregon for a reported suspicious person.  Deputies spoke with a man on the road/driveway located to the north of the residence, who had been arrested for criminal trespass II on February 10, 2019 and was walking back to his vehicle.  Deputies drove the man to his vehicle.
2/13/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Monday, February 11, 2019 at about 9:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to Luckiamute Road for a log truck crash. The truck was traveling east on Luckiamute Road when the log trailer went off the roadway, causing the truck to flip onto its side. No injuries were reported.
2/13/19 - DOG BITE.  On February 11, 2019, a dog living on the 5000 block of NW Vineyard Drive was placed on a ten-day quarantine for biting a bicyclist.  The dog is current on her rabies vaccination.  The victim did not want the dog owner cited.
2/12/19 - SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE.  On 2/11/2019 at around 8:00 PM, deputies spoke with a man parked in his vehicle at the fire substation on Llewelyn Road.  The man said he was living out of his truck at this time.  Deputies explained he needed to find a place that was legal to sleep in his vehicle and gave him several options.  The man said he was leaving.
2/12/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Monday, February 11, 2019 at about 2:55 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Timber Supply Road for a red pickup parked on the property. Deputies contacted the registered owner’s father, who stated his son was wrangling a cow that got loose. He stated he would get the pickup by sundown.
2/12/19 - ACCIDENT FATAL.  On February 11, 2019, at 1:19 PM, the Benton County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to South Fork Road near Tobe Creek Road for a single vehicle traffic crash. The driver and solo occupant was dead on arrival. Evidence at the scene indicated the driver was traveling eastbound on South Fork Road, when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a left corner. His vehicle went off the roadway and rolled into the South Fork of the Alsea River. He was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred. The man was taken to a funeral home and the vehicle was towed. Deputies made the death notification to a family member.
2/12/19 - BCSO ‑ TRAFFIC /HAZARD.  On Monday, February 11, 2019 at about 10:17 am, deputies arrived near milepost 2 on Irish Bend Road for a reported vehicle parked in the roadway.  Deputies spoke with the driver who stated she ran out of gas.
2/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 11, 2019 at around 2:08 A.M., deputies merely encountered Shannon Eugene LAWRENCE, 25, at NW 9th St and NW Hobart Ave.  LAWRENCE was later arrested, cited and released, at the jail's request, for a confirmed Benton County warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for FTA Contempt, Bail $20,000.
2/11/19 - MISSING PERSON.  On Sunday, February 10th, 2019 at about 1:50 AM, deputies were driving North on Highway 99W near Kiger Island Road when they saw a female dressed in dark clothing walking on the shoulder of the road.  It appeared the female was trying to flag them down so they stopped and spoke with her.  Dispatch informed she was listed as a missing person out of California.  She was cleared as a missing person and the reporting person was informed she was located.  The female did not want to go back to Corvallis; she wanted to continue walking south to California.
2/11/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 9, 2019, Steven Mersereau, 25, reported into the lobby of the jail on two confirmed warrants FTA Contempt of court. Mersereau was cited and released with a new court date.
2/11/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Saturday, February 9, 2019 at approximately 7:05pm, deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Webster Avenue in Monroe for a report of threats made. A male reported a female threatened to shoot him and his aunt’s dog. The male did not feel that he was in imminent danger and the female did not have the means of following through with her threat.
2/11/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Saturday, February 9, 2019, at about 2:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to Fern Road near Powderhouse Road for a report of a single vehicle crash.  Deputies arrived and located a vehicle, crashed on the west side of the roadway.  The driver stated she did not know how she crashed.  Based on roadway evidence, more likely than not, she was using her cell phone while driving.
2/11/19 - SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.  On Friday, February 8, 2019 at approximately 4pm, deputies spoke with a citizen regarding an incident that occurred with his vehicle that his daughter was driving. At approximately 12pm, his daughter left for lunch from Crescent Valley High School. He reported that at some point one of the tires was vandalized and was flat. He described a puncture to the sidewalls of one of the tires. He could not think of anyone that would do this intentionally to him or his daughter.
2/11/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On February 8, 2019, Vehicle#1 was traveling north on Highway 99 near milepost 91.  For an unknown reason Vehicle #1 went off the roadway on the east side of Highway 99.  Vehicle #1 broke through an ODOT "Do Not Pass" sign, hit several trees and rolled onto the passenger side.  The driver was not injured and was extricated by Corvallis Fire.
2/11/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Friday, February 8, 2019, at about 11:50 am, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99W near milepost 100 for a single vehicle crash.  Deputies arrived and observed a vehicle stopped in the northbound lane facing south with front-end damage.  The driver stated a piece of wood fell off a red pickup traveling northbound and he was unable to avoid crashing into it.  The red pickup did not stop.
2/11/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE  ‑ UNDER $500.  On Thursday, February 7, 2019 at about 3:25 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of Fern Road for a damaged mailbox. Deputies contacted the resident on the telephone. He said he went outside to check his mail and noticed his mailbox had been knocked off the post and destroyed. He had no suspect information, but wanted it reported in case there were several others in the area. He valued the mailbox at $50.00 to $100.00 dollars.
2/11/19 - UNLAWFUL IMPORT/EXPORT OF MARIJUANA ITEMS.  On Monday, February 4, 2019, deputies received a report of a package, which was intercepted and opened by employees at the FedEx facility at 201 SW Airport Avenue in Corvallis. The box, which was bound for Tennessee, was found to contain 45.0 Grams (Total Aggregate Package Weight) of dried green Marijuana buds hidden in two bags of chocolate candies with dryer sheets to attempt to disguise the smell. The sender was identified as THOMAS RICHARD TAYLOR, 62, of Albany. TAYLOR was issued a citation for ORS: 475B.227 ‑ Unlawful Import/Export of Marijuana Items (Class B Violation) through Linn County, as the package was originally sent from a postal store in Albany.
2/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On February 6, 2019, at 5:05 PM, deputies stopped Jeffery Charles, 43, on 5th Street near Harrison Boulevard in Corvallis for failure to stop when emerging onto a roadway and riding the wrong direction in a bicycle lane. Charles had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Contempt of Court/ Theft III, Bail $10,000. Charles was also cited for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Charles was released from the scene.
2/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Feb. 6, 2019 at approximately 1:45PM, Muriel Hubbard, 52, reported in at the Benton County Jail lobby for an outstanding warrant for having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Courthouse.  Five valid warrants issued by Benton County Circuit Court were located for: FTA ‑ Harassment, FTA II, bail $15,000; FTA ‑ Trespass I, FTA II, bail $15,000; FTA ‑ Trespass I, bail $15,000; FTA ‑ Trespass I, bail $15,000; and FTA ‑ Trespass I, bail $15,000. Hubbard was cited and released with a new court date.
2/8/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Feb. 7, 2019 at approximately 11:52am, Smit, Zachary William Thamar, 22, reported in at the Benton County Jail lobby, having failed to appear at the Benton County Circuit Courthouse.  A valid Benton County Circuit Court warrant issued Nov. 11, 2018 was located for FTA ‑ DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, FTA II,  no bail.  Smith was cited and released with a new court date.
2/7/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On February 6, 2019, at about 3:30 p.m., Brandon F Neims, 30, came to the lobby of the Sheriff's Office to turn himself in on his warrant.  Neims was walked across the street to the Benton County Jail.  Neims was booked and released on a confirmed warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for FTA Identity Theft, Forgery II, Attempt to commit B Misdemeanor, $50,000 Bail.
2/7/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 02/05/19 LINDBERG, Shane, 56, turned himself in at Benton Co Jail for a confirmed Benton Co Circuit warrant for FTA DUII.   Lindberg was cited and released.
2/7/19 - ANIMAL WELFARE CHECK.  On February 4, 2019 I performed an animal welfare check on a dog living on the 2000 block of Beaumont Ave in Albany.  The dog was limping and walking stiffly.  Deputies requested the owner get her dog into the veterinarian for an exam and will follow up to find out the vet's results.  The dog's license has expired so it will need to be renewed by the end of this month.
2/6/19 - ACCIDENT REPORT REQUIRED.  On February 5th, 2019, Unit 1 was southbound on Highway 223 near Cardwell Hill Drive in Philomath when she struck a deer in the roadway, causing extensive damage.
2/6/19 - WARRANT ARREST. On February 5, 2019, Dustin Mackie, 38, TURNED HIMSELF INTO THE LOBBY OF THE BENTON COUNTY JAIL FOR A CONFIRMED BENTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT WARRANT FOR DISCON II. MACKIE WAS CITED AND RELEASED.
2/6/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Tuesday February 5, 2019 at about 7:22 am, deputies arrived at Highway 99W, about ½ mile north of Llewellyn Road for a reported single vehicle, non‑injury crash.  It was later determined that the driver was northbound on Highway 99W at “Forty‑five miles per hour”.  The vehicle's passenger tires drove onto snow near the fog line.  The driver lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle came to a stop in the ditch on the east side of Highway 99W, generally facing southwest.
2/6/19 – WARRANT ARREST; FALSE INFORMATION TO POLICE.  On Monday, February 4, 2019 at about 1:00 P.M., deputies spoke to a male riding a bike on highway 20 near Granger Avenue. Deputies arrested Phillip Thomas Swartz for two confirmed warrants and providing false information. Phillip was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and released.
2/5/19 – DUII; RECKLESS ENDANGERING.  On February 4, 2019, 5:01 PM, deputies responded towards Highway 99W near the Polk County line for a report of an Impaired Driver traveling southbound into Benton County. Two callers reported the suspect vehicle nearly caused a head on traffic crash. Deputies located and stopped the suspect, Andre Renee Piercy, 38, on Highland Drive near Conifer Boulevard in Corvallis. They later arrested Andrea Piercy for DUII after determining she was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Andrea Piercy had her 3-year-old child inside the vehicle with her. The child was released to the custody of his dad. Andrea Piercy was transported to the Benton County Sheriff's Office and her blood alcohol content was .23%. The vehicle was towed as a traffic hazard. Andrea Piercy was cited for DUII and Reckless Endangering. She was released to a sober person.
2/4/19 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A SCHED IV CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.  On Saturday, February 2, 2019, at about 11:50pm, deputies detained Kayla Louise Ramos, 26, at the 300 block of NW 3rd Street so she could be served with misdemeanor citations from a previous encounter. Deputies later arrested Ramos for PCS‑ Meth and PCS‑ Schedule IV, after a drug dog indicated on her car and they found two packets containing a white crystalline substance and several pieces of drug paraphernalia inside. Ramos was cited and released.
2/4/19 - FALSE INFORMATION TO POLICE.  On Saturday, February 2, 2019 at about 8:10 A.M., deputies arrested Michael Ken Pannell, 51, for Providing false information to a Deputy. Michael was a passenger in a vehicle during a traffic stop. Michael thought he had a warrant for his arrest, so he told deputies his name was Jeff Allen Smith. Michael did not have a warrant. Michael was cited and released.
2/4/19 - RESISTING ARREST; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.  On Friday, February 1st, at about 11:30 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to use a turn signal 100 feet before turning onto S 19th Street from Main Street.  The driver, KATELYN SUSANNE POTTER, 37, handed deputies a pipe with methamphetamine residue inside and then resisted arrest when she was told she was under arrest and refused to get out of the car.  POTTER was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail.
2/4/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, January 31, 2019 at approximately 9:12 PM, deputies saw NOAH LYON MORLAND inside a restaurant at 1117 NW 9th Street in Corvallis.  Deputies contacted and arrested MORLAND for confirmed warrants for: Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Unlawful Possession of a Firearm / Unlawful; Possession of Methamphetamine / Unlawful Possession of Heroin; and Benton County Circuit Court, FTA Disorderly Conduct II.  MORLAND was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked on his warrants and subsequently released due to overcrowding.
2/4/19 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF HEROIN.  On January 31, 2019 at about 7:46 pm, dispatch broadcasted an ATL on a speeding vehicle northbound on Highway 99 from Alpine Cutoff.  Deputies stopped the vehicle near 3rd and Goodnight for speeding.  During contact with the driver, Harley Michelle Elder, deputies observed several needles inside the vehicle.  Elder was not diabetic and consented to a search of the vehicle.  Deputies located multiple items of drug paraphernalia inside.  Elder was issued a citation for Unlawful Possession of Heroin.
2/4/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On January 31, 2019 at about 5:48 pm, deputies were dispatched to Maxfield Creek near MP 5 for a report of a vehicle in the ditch.  It appeared the vehicle was eastbound on Maxfield Creek when it lost control and entered the south ditch. The vehicle had less than $2500 damage and was unoccupied.  Deputies spoke with the owner who stated he would have the vehicle removed by the weekend.
2/4/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Thursday, January 31, 2019, around 11:45 A.M., deputies arrested  Laura Morales Salinas, 34, for a confirmed Albany Municipal Court warrant for Contempt of Court FTA, $2,425.00 bail.  Salinas was arrested and issued a criminal citation to appear at the Albany Municipal Court.
2/4/19 - BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE; AGGRAVATED THEFT 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at approximately 3:35 P.M., deputies arrived at the 2000 block of NW Beaumont Lane for a reported burglary.  The resident said he left home around 6:00 A.M. and had recently arrived and found one of the doors to his house had been repeatedly struck with an axe until it opened.  Items stolen include: Ruger, Blackhawk, .357, revolver; a Nikon D2X5 Camera with 70‑200, Sigma Lens, valued at 6400.00 dollars; a Pentax 645 Camera valued at 3000.00 dollars; and other cameras, camera parts, and tools.
2/4/19 - DISORDERLY CONDUCT II.  On January 29, 2019, at 5:04 PM, deputies were dispatched to John Boy's Mercantile in Alsea for a disorderly male behind the store, armed with a pipe. While driving to the call, dispatch received three calls about the male. Anthony Davis, 46, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II.
2/4/19 - RECKLESS ENDANGERING.  On Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at approximately 2:30 P.M., deputies arrived at the 4000 block of Northwest Palestine Avenue for a report of suspicious activity. They arrived and spoke with the resident who stated a bullet hit the wall in his house.  He said the room is seldomly used and this could have happened up to a month ago.  He said his wife was vacuuming and saw there was drywall on the ground.  He then located what appeared to be a .40 caliber bullet.  Deputies were unable to locate anyone shooting in the area.
2/4/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 26, 2019, deputies arrested MROSS, Timothy, 34, for a Parole Board Warrant with no bail. MROSS was booked and lodged.
2/4/19 - BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE; THEFT 1ST DEGREE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On January 26, 2019 at around 1:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of NE Asbahr Ave for a reported burglary.  The resident arrived home around midnight and found her house in disarray.  A rear window had been pried off with a hammer and roughly $2,000, a small amount of marijuana and a 24k gold neckless was missing.  No suspect info at this time.
2/4/19 - BURGLARY 2ND DEGREE; THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Monday, January 24, 2019 at about 12:00 PM, deputies took a report at Beaumont Ln in Albany, of an unknown person(s) entering the garage through an unlocked man door.  The suspect stole a Sthil model 021 Chainsaw with an 18" bar.  The resident added that he had spoken with two other people in the neighborhood who reported hearing people on their deck in the early hours.  Both of these people told him they were sure it was someone snooping around and ran off when they turned on the lights.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Sunday, January 27, 2019 at approximately 7:33 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Highway 99W and Thousand Oaks Drive. The driver said she was driving south on Highway 99W, was adjusting her stereo, looked up and realized she was driving towards the left side of the road, over corrected, over corrected again, and slid sideways onto the shoulder where her vehicle rolled, ultimately landing on its wheels. The vehicle was left at the scene to be towed the following day.
1/29/19 - UEMV ‑ UNLAWFUL ENTRY INTO MOTOR VEHICLE; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 1ST DEGREE; THEFT 2ND DEGREE.  On Sunday, January 27, 2019, at approximately 5:32 P.M., deputies were dispatched to contact a citizen regarding a theft from her vehicle, which had occurred a short time before at the Alsea Falls parking lot. The woman said she had parked her vehicle for approximately ten minutes while she and her friend walked to look at the falls. When she returned to her vehicle, she found her driver's door window broken and the rear hatch window broken with a damage estimate of over $1,000, and numerous belongings missing totaling over $100. The suspect vehicle is a late 90s or early 2000s Ford Explorer or something similar, which was in the parking lot when she arrived and gone when she returned to her vehicle.
1/29/19 - DUII OF DRUGS.  On Sunday, January 27, 2019, around 6:30 A.M., I arrested Eddie Anthony Davidson, 66, for DUII after he parked his Toyota Camry (OR Plate: 209 LDR) in the southbound lane of Highway 99 near Old River Road and went to sleep.  Davidson had a .07% BAC.  Deputy Lundy completed a DRE Evaluation and Davidson was also under the influence of Cannabis.  The vehicle was towed.
1/29/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF IN THE 3RD DEGREE  ‑ UNDER $500; REFUSE BREATH TEST; FAIL TO CARRY/PRESENT ODL; WARRANT ARREST.  On January 27, 2019, at about 1:50 a.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop for Failure to Maintain Lane on SW 4th Street between SW A Ave and SW Chapman Place. The driver, Marcus Rudolph Eveler, 27, was arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving and Failure to Carry and Present. He additionally was cited for Criminal Mischief III (x2), Refusal of a Breath Test, Refusal of a Urine Test, No Valid Operators License, Failure to Maintain Lane and a Marion County Warrant. The jail was full; he was cited and released.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On January 26, 2019 at around 11:12 P.M., I was dispatched to Alpine Road near milepost 2 for a reported single vehicle crash.  Unit 1 was traveling west on Alpine road when a deer appeared in front of them.  He swerved to avoid the deer, causing him to leave the roadway.  After leaving the roadway he hit a culvert headwall causing his truck to spin sideways and roll over twice.  The driver and passenger had minor cuts but refused medical treatment. The roadway sustained gouging from the roll over.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On January 26, 2019 at about 6:31 pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 20 near MP 35, Blodgett for a single vehicle non-injury traffic crash.  Unit 1 was eastbound on Highway 20 when a deer ran southbound across the road in front of his vehicle.  Ruiz struck the deer causing damage in excess of $2500.  The vehicle was able to drive the vehicle away from the scene.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Saturday, January 26, 2019 at about 9:45 A.M. Vehicle #1 was driving west on Highway 20 near Milepost 39. Vehicle #1 crossed the center line and collided with the guardrail on the north side of Highway 20. Vehicle #1 continued east about 200 yards, and drove into the ditch on the south side of Highway 20, just east of the Blodgett Store. The driver of Vehicle #1 stated she could not remember what occurred before or during the crash. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Friday, January 25, 2019 at approximately 6:24 P.M., deputies responded to a non-injury crash in the area of Highland Drive and Lewisburg Avenue. Unit 1 was driving south when a load of PVC conduit fell from his vehicle spilling onto the road. Unit 2 was driving north and ran into the PVC causing damage to the front and underside of his vehicle. Unit 1 was issued a citation for Operating With Sifting or Leaking Load.
1/29/19 - CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ‑ 2ND DEGREE.  On Friday, January 25, 2019 at about 11:00 A.M., deputies spoke to a resident who stated on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, someone attempted to break into a shed on his property on the 1000 block of NE 2nd Street, Corvallis. He stated nothing was taken, but the garage door was going to cost $500 ‑ $1000 to replace. He had no suspect information.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST; FALSE INFORMATION TO POLICE.  On Friday, January 25, 2019 at about 9:30 A.M., deputies arrested Ronald Campola, 59, and John Thomas Bujak, 39, after their vehicle made an unlawful turn at Harrison Blvd / 5th Street. Ronald was arrested for a Linn County Justice Warrant and John was arrested for providing False Information while deputies were enforcing motor vehicle laws. Ronald was transported to the Benton County Jail, and John was cited and released.
1/29/19 - PROBATION VIOLATION; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A SCHED II CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.  On January 25, 2019, at about 3:50 a.m., deputies I stopped a vehicle for Failure to Maintain Lane and Fail to Obey a Traffic Control Device. The driver, Amber Taylor, 45 consented to a search of her vehicle and possessions which resulted in her arrest for Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. Additionally, she was charged with a Probation Violation for an unrelated incident. Taylor was transported to Benton County Jail where she was lodged.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On 1/24/19, Benjamin Campbell, 28, turned himself into the Benton County Jail. He had arrived late to court and had been issued a warrant. Campbell had 2 confirmed Benton Circuit warrants and was issued a new court date and then released from the jail.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 24, Brenton Garman, 45, turned himself in to the jail lobby on a confirmed warrant for FTA‑DIS CON II.  Garman was given a new court date and released.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT INJURY.  On January 22nd, 2019 at about 6:31 PM, deputies responded to a crash on Highway 99W near mile post 97.  Unit 1 was south bound on Highway 99W near mile post 97 when a cow ran into the road.  The unit struck the cow, which went over the top of his car.  Unit 2 was following Unit 1 and ran over the cow, then struck a second cow, coming to rest on top of it.  Unit 3 was following Unit 2, saw the crash and was able to stop short of the crash.  Unit 4 was following Unit 3 and was not able to stop, and rear-ended Unit 3 into Unit 2’s vehicle. The driver of Unit 1 was transported to Good Sam with minor injuries.
1/29/19 - DUII OF DRUGS; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE; FREQUENTING A PLACE WHERE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ARE USED; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A SCHED II CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.  On January 22, 2019, at 5:20 PM, deputies stopped David Topper, 50, on SW Technology Loop near SW 49th Street in Corvallis for Failing to Signal a Turn after they observed him leaving a known drug house. Deputies later arrested Topper for DUII after they determined he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Topper refused to be evaluated by a Certified Drug Recognition Expert. Topper was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Frequenting a Drug House. Topper was cited and released due to overcrowding at the Benton County Jail.  The front seat passenger, Benjamin Campbell, 28, was arrested on Probable Cause Charges for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Methamphetamine.  When Campbell was arrested he was in possession of Adderall, a Scheduled II Controlled Substance without a prescription. Campbell was later taken to the Benton County Jail, where he was cited and released on the new charges.
1/29/19 - THEFT 1ST DEGREE ‑ BY DECEPTION.  On Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at approximately 12:15 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center for a reported fraud.  Deputies spoke with a man who stated that someone contacted him over the phone to say his computer was not working properly.  He said he then let that person have remote access to his computer to, "fix," any issues.  This person then deposited 3000.00 dollars into his account, which was too much money, and asked him to get approximately 2700.00 dollars in gift cards to pay back the difference.
1/29/19 - DUII OF DRUGS; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; FAIL TO CARRY/PRESENT ODL.  On Sunday, January 20, 2019 at approximately 11:20pm, deputies stopped Jarod WILSON, 43, for a traffic violation at the Highway 20 Highway 34 junction west of Philomath. They arrested WILSON for failure to carry or present an operator’s license. Additionally, he was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless endangering of his three passengers. WILSON provided a breath sample of 0.02% BAC.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 22, 2019, at 11:32 PM, deputies contacted Chad Yock, 32, in the parking lot at Safeway, 450 SW 3rd Street in Corvallis. Yock had the following confirmed cite and release warrants: Albany Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, Bail $0; and Linn County Circuit Court, Contempt of Court (FTA 2), Bail $7,500. Yock was issued new court dates for the warrants.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 23, 2019, RHINEHART, David, 36, turned himself in for two confirmed warrants. The first warrant was for Felony DWS out of Clackamas County with a bail of $50,000. The second warrant was for an FTA Theft II out of Benton County Circuit Court with a $10,000 bail. RHINEHART was cited and released with new court dates.
1/29/19 - ACCIDENT NON‑INJURY.  On Tuesday January 22, 2019 at about 1:51 pm, deputies spoke with an employee at the Alsea Post Office.  He reported that on January 18, 2019 at about 2:37 pm, a Fed Ex driver backed into a post at the loading dock at the Alsea post office.  He estimated the damage at under $2,500.00.  Insurance and driver information was exchanged.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On January 23, 2019, at approximately 1330 hours, KUSKE, Christopher, 25, turned himself in at the Benton County Jail for 4 confirmed warrants for FTA. The first was an FTA DUII, PCS Meth out of Benton County Circuit Court, with a $20,000 dollar bail. The second warrant was an FTA Disorderly Conduct II out of Benton County Circuit Court with a $5,000 dollar bail. The third was an FTA DUII, PCS Meth, Harassment warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court with a $25,000 dollar bail. The fourth warrant was for FTA Disorderly Conduct II out of Albany Municipal Court with a bail of $2,560. Deputies cited and released KUSKE with new court dates.
1/29/19 - WARRANT ARREST.  On Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at about 9:45 A.M., deputies spoke to Damien Lee Taylor‑Brown, 32, outside of the Super 8 Motel in Corvallis. After a brief conversation Damien identified himself and stated he had a warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for FTC Criminal Trespass II, $317 Bail. Damien was arrested for his confirmed warrant. Damien was issued a citation for his warrant and released.
1/29/19 – DUII; WARRANT ARREST.  On January 20, 2019, at 11:42 PM, deputies stopped Timothy Price, 33, on 14th Street near Applegate Street in Philomath for making an improper turn and defective lighting. They later arrested Price for DUII after determining he was impaired and unable to operate a vehicle safely. Price's blood alcohol content was .08%. Price additionally had a confirmed cite and release warrant for Curry County Circuit Court, Property Damage/ Disorderly Conduct II X2/ Criminal Trespass II, Bail $22,000.  Price was cited and released from the Benton County Jail.
1/29/19 – DUII; SUPPLY CONTRABAND – DRUGS; UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF COCAINE.  On January 20, 2019 at about 2:45 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle and arrested Jacob Lee Schroppel, 26, after refusing tests for DUII. He provided a breath sample of .14% BAC. He was additionally charged with Supplying Contraband and Unlawful Possession of Cocaine.
1/29/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING.  On January 19, 2018 at around 2:47 A.M., deputies stopped a vehicle for reasonable suspicion of DUII at the Highway 34 Bypass and Highway 34.  They saw Heber DE LA TORRE BUSTOS, 21, drive the vehicle from McDonalds after being told he was not legally able to drive, when the original driver was arrested for DUII 15 minutes prior.  He was later arrested, cited and released to a sober driver for DUII, Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering.  His BAC was 0.11%.
1/29/19 – DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DWS MISDEMEANOR.  On Saturday, January 19, 2019, at about 2:20 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for Failure to Obey a One Way Designation at 3rd Street and VanBuren Ave. The driver, Marco Puente, 21, was arrested for DWS‑Misdemeanor, DUII, Reckless Endangering (x2) and Reckless Driving. He provided a breath sample of .15% BAC and was released to a sober driver.
1/29/19 - THEFT 3RD DEGREE.  On Friday, January 18, 2019, deputies were dispatched to contact a citizen concerning a theft.  They said on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019, an unknown person stole her trash can from the driveway of her residence on Kings Valley Highway.  She valued the garbage can at $75 and had no suspect information.
