A joint hearing of the Planning Commissions of the City of Adair Village and Benton County took place on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., to consider an amendment to the urban growth boundary of the City of Adair Village.

The record was held open and the City and County Planning Commissions are accepting written public comment (testimony). People are encouraged to submit testimony by 5pm on October 4 so that the Planning Commissions will have a full week to review. The hard deadline for written testimony is 12 noon on October 7.
The Planning Commissions will meet on Tuesday, October 11 at 6:00pm to deliberate and vote on a recommendation to the City Council and Board of County Commissioners. No public testimony will be received at that time.
The Adair City Council and the Board of County Commissioners will hold public hearings on the amendment in November. Time and location to be determined; neighboring property owners as well as people who have submitted testimony will be notified.
The Planning Commissions will make recommendations to the Adair Village City Council and the Benton County Board of Commissioners regarding the proposed amendment.
