In 2009, of the 20.6% of Benton County households living below the poverty level 52.4% of them received food stamps while in Oregon 51.6% of the 12.6% of households living below the poverty level receive food stamps. Of the 18.6% of Benton County households with one or more people with a disability 39.1% received food stamps. $16,927 is the median income of a family in Benton County receiving food stamps.
