Based on 2010 U.S. census data most of the Benton County (87.1%) and Oregon (83.6%) populations are white. Oregon has more racial diversity than Benton County. The second largest group in Benton County is Asian and Pacific Islander (5.4%). The second largest group in Oregon is other (5.3%). The smallest group in both Benton County and Oregon is American Indian (Benton County .7%, Oregon 1.4%).
