Benton Local Advisory Committee (BLAC)

The Benton Local Advisory Committee is a part of the InterCommunity Health Network Coordinated care Organization (IHN-CCO) regional Community Advisory Council (CAC) structure.  The duties of the council include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying and advocating for preventative care practices to be utilized by the coordinated care organization;
  • Overseeing a community health assessment and adopting a community health improvement plan to service as a strategic population heath and health care system plan for the community served by the coordinated care organization;
  • Annually publishing a report on te progress of the Community Health Improvement Plan

BLAC consists of 15 representatives of the Benton County Community who provide insight into local health issues affecting consumers of the Oregon Health Plan (OHP).

BLAC meetings are open to the public.  Meeting are every 4th Friday at the Benton County Commissioner's Office, 205 NW 5th Street, Corvallis from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
