Reporting a Positive Test

Updated 9/26/2022

When a lab test returns positive, those results are reported to the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) by the organization performing the test. When an at-home test comes back positive, it is up to the individual to report that positive result. Here are a few ways to report a positive at-home test:

  • Notify your primary care physician so it can be added to your medical record
  • Notify OHA by calling (866) 917-8881

If you tested positive for COVID-19 and need information on what to do next, how to quarantine or isolate, or if you’re worried about your ability to stay home, you can contact OHA by phone at 866-917-8881, or you can visit: Did you test positive for COVID-19?
