Construction delays for the week of July 16-20th

Please be aware of construction delays this week:
OR 99 W, Monmouth & Lewisburg
Crews will begin paving OR 99 West between Monmouth and Lewisburg the evening of Sunday, July 15th. The work will be done from 7 p.m. - 6 a.m., through Friday morning.
For the first several weeks, work will focus on the paving of approaches and turn outs, road repairs, and bridge work throughout the project area. Paving will be done north to south. After paving, rumble strips and striping will be completed.
Nearby residents and travelers should expect 5 - 6 nights of work in each area over the length of the project. Noise levels and time in an area will vary depending on the type of working being done.
Travelers should expect lane closures with traffic controlled by flaggers and pilot cars, and delays of up to 20 minutes. Slow down, watch for crews, and pay attention in the work zone.
Harrison Boulevard, Corvallis
Major construction will begin the evening of Sunday, July 15th through the evening of Friday, July 20, 2018. The driving public can expect 20 minute delays on Harrison Boulevard between 29th Street and 53rd Street.
The reconstruction includes shoulder widening, placement of aggregate base and paving, and installation of new storm culverts across Harrison Boulevard. The widening and reconstruction work will take place at night and paving will take place during the daylight hours. Construction in the corridor will be continuous between from the 15 - 20th.
One lane of traffic will remain open during construction. The public can expect delays of up to 20 minutes; drivers are strongly encouraged to select alternate routes.
Signage announcing the road work is placed westbound on Harrison Boulevard, northbound on 53rd Street, eastbound on Oak Creek Drive, and southbound on Walnut Boulevard.
This roadwork will complete a full reconstruction of Harrison Boulevard.
Fitton Green Trail Head Parking, Corvallis
Fitton Green Trail Head Parking at the top of Panorama will be closed July 16 - 18th due to road construction. Alternative parking at the end of E. Cardwell Hill Road County Road. Public works crews will be chip sealing on the road leading up to the Fitton Green parking lot at the top of Panorama.
We recommend using the trail head at the end of Oak Creek Dr. Natural Areas & Parks staff are posting signs at the trailhead and sharing it on Facebook page to encourage people to use the E. Cardwell Hill Road.
OR 223 Kings Valley Highway (milepost 4.75 – 21.5), Philomath
Chip seal paving work begins July 16 – 19th on OR 223 Kings Valley Highway, between milepost 4.75 – 21.5. Travelers should expect lane closures and up to 20 minute delays in the area. Slow down, be alert, and watch for crews in the work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules may change.
Fog sealing will be completed on July 20th.
